In the game "High Martial Arts," players start with the blessing of the Martial God.

Virtual Martial Arts World

A world where a gentle breeze blows, the grass and trees sway softly, a bright moon hangs high in the sky, its shadow cast on the ground, one, two, three streaks moving with the wind...

"Whoosh!"

A flash of light suddenly pierced through, the breeze began to rage, the moon's shadow became disordered and fragmented, and a well-ordered world was instantly shattered.

"Moonlight Training Mode, Level Two!"

Ji Ming spoke softly in this empty world. The next second, several beams of cold moonlight gathered and attacked from the horizon. He could sometimes block them, and sometimes he was hit. But as time went on, he was hit less and less.

Although the Flowing Moon Blade is only a Spirit-level martial skill, it has its own exquisite aspects. This sword technique emphasizes speed, whether in offense or defense, it is continuous and uninterrupted, and once it is started, it will not give the enemy a chance to retaliate!

"stop!"

After repeated attempts, the attacks in the void finally ceased. Ji Ming, panting, put down his sword. Training in the virtual world consumed mental energy, and this was a reminder from the virtual world when mental fatigue reached a certain level.

【Crescent Moon Blade: lv.7 (53/100)】

Ji Ming calculated the time; he had trained for exactly three hours so far tonight, which meant he was making 10% progress per hour. This was indeed much faster than the Starry Sky King Body and the Qian Tian Yi Qi Gong.

Today is February 24th. Even if the progress slows down after the upgrade, there is still a certain possibility of upgrading it to the second tier before the end of the month. This would have been impossible before, after all, there are still several small bottlenecks and one big bottleneck in front of us!

【God of War's Blessing (Enlightenment): 64/100】

Seeing that his progress in achieving enlightenment had increased by another three percentage points, Ji Ming smiled slightly. This was all thanks to his hard work.

He couldn't continue cultivating today. Ji Ming returned to his bedroom, drank a bottle of "energy supplement," and lay down on the bed to fall asleep.

"Energy Supplement" is not considered an entry-level potion. Its effect is to keep people energetic even with less sleep. A large box can be bought for 2000 Xuanhuang Coins. He has been drinking a bottle every night since he started cultivating, and almost all the students at Shirakawa No. 1 Middle School do the same.

Those with talent work even harder than you imagine; every single one of them who gets into the top high school is a test-taker!

……

the next morning

Ji Ming arrived at the classroom. The two morning classes were always academic classes, also known as basic knowledge classes for professionals, which were worth 100 points in the college entrance examination.

This course covers a very diverse range of knowledge, almost encompassing all professions. Although it consists of very basic topics, there is simply too much of it, and Ji Ming has consistently hovered around 80 points.

This score is already quite good for a martial arts class. After all, first and second-tier martial artists do not involve mental cultivation, and willpower is not equivalent to mental power. In this respect, they are naturally far inferior to professions such as mages.

Is it fair?

That's not fair!

But that's the reality; martial arts classes are less popular than other classes in the early stages!

Fortunately, the overall score for this course is not high, so it won't create too much of a gap. You only need to make a little more progress in other areas to make up for it.

"Class, today we're discussing 'The Beast Tamer's Inspiration Compatibility.' As we all know..."

In the virtual space, a curvaceous young female teacher was lecturing eloquently. As she spoke, lines of information appeared in front of Ji Ming, providing detailed explanations of the knowledge points she was teaching and helping him to understand them better.

As early as a thousand years ago, after the "New Education Plan" was launched, paper textbooks were abandoned, and teachers of cultural subjects also adopted new teaching methods. The teacher in front of us is actually just a video, and there may be tens of millions of students in the entire Great Xia Kingdom watching it at the same time.

After class

Ji Ming was preparing to train in the martial arts world for a while when a sudden commotion outside startled him awake.

"Quick, Ah Ming, this is earth-shattering news!" Xu Wei rushed to his seat and frantically pulled at him, while Ji Ming turned off his bracelet, looking completely bewildered.

"Come with me!"

After Xu Wei finished speaking, he pulled him downstairs. Along with them, they saw many other students from other classes. Some mage students even used the "Wind Control Technique" to jump down, which made the martial arts students envious.

Ji Ming's eyelids twitched as he watched. This was the main reason why martial artists had a hard time defeating mages and cultivators. These people could fly, couldn't you believe it?

Although the first-order gliding is limited to low-altitude gliding and is not sustainable with high energy consumption, the margin for error is greatly increased.

Fortunately, this month-end quiz didn't require them to face other professionals, otherwise it would have been really difficult.

"It seems I have to put footwork training on the agenda next month," Ji Ming thought to himself.

In an instant, a large crowd gathered below the teaching building. Ji Ming pushed Xu Wei, taking advantage of their size, and forced their way in. A light screen notice board was faintly visible.

"Announcement: As decided by the Municipal Government and the Municipal Education Department, the city will establish key classes for all professions..."

As Ji Ming watched, he gradually understood. After this monthly exam, Shirakawa City would form an elite class, which would include all professions. The class would be admitted based on the results of this monthly exam, with a total of fifty students. There would be twenty places in the martial arts class, fifteen in the mage class, and fifteen in the immortal class.

Therefore, this month-end quiz has become a city-wide unified test. This assessment will be uniform across all high schools in the city, with consistent standards, and scores will be compared among vocational high school students throughout the city!

Of course, there is no pressure. In the end, 99% of these 45 spots will still go to No. 1 Middle School. There may be dark horses, but it will not be much different from the usual monthly exams.

"Damn, a new broom sweeps clean, and he's definitely got some big moves in store. I knew the mayor wouldn't treat us martial artists unfairly!"

Some people are happy, while others are dissatisfied.

"Why? Why do these crude martial artists get the most spots? I refuse to accept this!"

"What did you say?"

"What's wrong with you? You rude, vulgar martial artist!"

"Damn it, you..."

"Stop fighting! Stop fighting!"

"Damn it, where are you touching?"

"..."

Having finally managed to squeeze out, Ji Ming wiped a cold sweat from his brow at the chaotic scene before him. These guys are really cunning!

"Amin!"

Just as Ji Ming was filled with shock and anger, a ball rolled out from the crowd. Xu Wei, wearing a swimming ring, glared angrily at the despicable man who had abandoned his brothers!

"Ahem!"

Ji Ming smiled sheepishly, "It's not my fault, it's too difficult for someone your size to come up with!"

"Alright, alright, it's my treat tonight."

"It's a deal!" Xu Wei's face lit up instantly, ready to open his ravenous mouth.

"Scatter! Another beating will result in demerits and deductions for all of you!" Finally, a teacher came to maintain order.

Xu Wei, his eyes narrowed to slits as he propped himself up on his stomach, solemnly announced, "We martial artists have finally stood up!"

Ji Ming knew why he said that; this was the first time in years that the martial arts class had an advantage in resource allocation!

The elite classes are definitely not something to be set up casually; the Ministry of Education will likely invest the majority of its resources into them.

If the new mayor wants to secure his position, he must have achievements. If more people can be admitted to the holy land this June, it will definitely add to his resume, which will be a happy thing for everyone.

However, it is truly strange that martial artists occupy the most spots. Is it because they are all martial artists that the mayor is taking pity on them and wants to support them?

Ji Ming couldn't understand the above thoughts, but it was undoubtedly a good thing for him. If he could get into this top class, he would probably have all the necessary resources for his future cultivation, and he wouldn't have to put so much pressure on his parents.

"Top 20 in the city?"

Ji Ming muttered to himself, "This ranking requires a life strength of at least 8.5, and a martial arts skill of level 7 or 8. If I don't use Stellar Transformation now, it will be very stressful."

Life strength 6.0, punching power 7700 kg; life strength 8.0, punching power 14200 kg. There is a difference of nearly two times, which cannot be easily made up for by the basic improvement brought by the activation of the level 11 Star King Body.

Although Stellar Transformation can increase combat power threefold, once unleashed, he only has enough power for a few strikes at most. And he obviously has more than one opponent to face, so it can only be used as a trump card at the last moment.

Moreover, others will definitely make progress during this period. The elite class is not available every year. Entering it and being nurtured by the whole city may allow access to some rare resources, greatly increasing the probability of getting into a top university. Everyone will definitely strive to do their best.

Whether he can succeed, or even achieve a better ranking, depends on how much of a surprise the Martial God's Enlightenment can bring him.
