Great, it's a scalper, we're saved!

Upon seeing this message, Mad Ghost Brother froze on the spot.

What is that?

Did Zheng Fan exploit a bug to gain points?

impossible!

I've been keeping a close eye on Zheng Fan's live stream.

Aside from helping Ma Bo configure equipment runes, Zheng Fan didn't touch his phone again during that time.

What kind of bug did they use?

Ma Bo didn't do anything outrageous when he played games, did he?

Poor performance and poor execution.

But the next second, a look of wild joy appeared on Mad Ghost Brother's face.

Never mind what bug Zheng Fan used.

The current situation is that the official planners of Honor of Kings have come out and said that he used a bug.

Then I'll be fine!

Although Zheng Fan didn't use a boosting service, his team fights were basically random attacks.

But using bugs is a much worse act than power leveling!

It bit randomly and actually managed to bite someone?!

As long as Zheng Fan has a problem, then I won't have a problem!

"Is Mad Ghost Brother scared out of his wits?"

"Surprisingly, you're alternating between sadness and laughter. Have you suffered some kind of mental shock?"

"Could he really have gone mad? It's kind of scary."

"It's only human nature."

"Of course he was scared. Forget why Ma Bo was able to reach the King rank, Zheng Fan really didn't use a smurf."

"That's right, Brother Kuanggui made such a big fuss, who knows how much trouble the CCTV program team is going through behind the scenes?"

"Being blacklisted by the show is a minor issue; the real problem is that I might never be able to do live streaming again in my life."

"Zheng Fan is really outrageous. He's so popular right now, and he just ended the broadcast abruptly?"

"Ma Bo just reached the King rank and then immediately ended the stream. He really doesn't care about viewership."

"What are you guys fantasizing about? Even though Crazy Ghost's attempt to start a group failed, he didn't break any rules, right? Why did CCTV ban him?"

"..."

At this moment, the number of viewers in Kuangguige's live stream room has exceeded one million.

Without a doubt, these people were viewers who switched over after Zheng Fan ended his broadcast.

After witnessing the emotional shift of the Mad Ghost Brother, countless viewers came to a conclusion.

—It seems that Brother Kuang Gui was really scared into having problems.

"You bunch of opportunists, don't ever say you're fans of my Mad Ghost Brother when you go out in the future!"

Seeing the heated discussion in the comments, Brother Kuanggui, who had been tense, suddenly lost his temper and cursed.

"Does the fact that Zheng Fan didn't use a game booster mean that I, Brother Kuanggui, misjudged him?"

"A bunch of useless trash!"

"Zheng Fan climbed the ranks by exploiting a bug!"

"Is it possible for a Silver player with such a terrible record to climb all the way to Master rank?"

"The fact is, Zheng Fan is using a bug!"

"Crazy Ghost Brother said angrily."

"Oh no, Brother Mad Ghost has really gone mad."

"Starting to panic and say things you shouldn't?"

"What the hell?! You're using a bug? Why don't you just say Zheng Fan is using illusion magic?!"

"Exactly, Zheng Fan hardly ever touches a phone."

However, these remarks immediately drew ridicule from the audience.

Clearly, in the eyes of the audience, Crazy Ghost's reasoning was quite lame.

Seeing the screen full of mocking comments, Kuanggui felt very aggrieved.

He admitted that he couldn't figure out where Zheng Fan had used a bug.

But the official game developers have already told me this, so how could they possibly lie to me?

Kuanggui was about to release the chat logs with the planner, but then he changed his mind and gave up the idea.

If Zheng Fan really did use a bug to rank up, wouldn't he look incredibly farsighted in the eyes of the audience?

Won't the hype just explode?!

So, there's absolutely no need to share your chat history now!

Anyway, the planner said that the official King of Glory team will handle it soon.

Thinking of this, Brother Kuanggui smiled without saying a word, and simply followed Zheng Fan's example, choosing to end the broadcast at the peak of the popularity.

"Let these people argue for now, and wait for the situation to escalate."

After glancing at the message sent by the planner, Mad Ghost nodded in satisfaction.

……

King's Headquarters.

The large conference room was packed with people, but the air was so quiet it was almost frozen.

"Stop spacing out! Are you mute? Have you thought of a solution?"

A woman in her forties, sitting in the center, broke the silence with a furrowed brow and a rebuking remark.

As the public relations director of Tencent, Liu Yaqi felt that this was probably the most stressful day of her career.

A few hours ago, she received a call from CCTV, asking her for a favor.

After some communication, Liu Yaqi learned that the person was a contestant from a program under CCTV, and it seemed that he was going to do live-streamed game boosting.

After understanding the situation, Liu Yaqi readily agreed and quickly provided a solution.

They'll get on the bus first and buy the ticket later; they'll officially announce Zheng Fan as the promotional ambassador after the live stream ends.

As for why they did this, the reason is quite simple.

We have to give CCTV face, and besides, the issue of game boosting isn't that serious.

Furthermore, that contestant named Zheng Fan has been extremely popular recently. Getting a promotional ambassador position without paying a signing fee is definitely a huge win for him.

Originally, this was a win-win collaboration, but as Zheng Fan's live stream progressed, the King of Glory team became somewhat uneasy.

Players and viewers may not see the problem, but the official team is very clear about it.

What is Zheng Fan doing? Isn't he just exploiting the ELO system to climb the ranks?!

Over the years, many people have criticized the ELO system in Honor of Kings, saying that the win rate is deliberately controlled in order to extend the game time.

They all refuted these claims, stating that there is no ELO mechanism.

But right now, the fact that Ma Bo can achieve such a dismal rating and record while on a winning streak is a blatant exposé of the ELO system, isn't it?!

It's important to know that the ELO system is widely despised by players in competitive games.

If the use of the ELO mechanism is discovered, it will inevitably lead to a large number of players quitting the game.

If this were discovered by an ordinary player, it wouldn't be a big deal. At worst, the official team would come out and refute it again, but it wouldn't cause much of a stir.

But the problem is, this was exposed during Zheng Fan's live stream?!

And, to make matters worse, Brother Kuanggui actually started a fight?!

The whole of Weibo and Douyin is talking about this now. Not only can we not hide it, but we also have to come out and respond!

"Mr. Liu, why don't we just lay our cards on the table with the players?"

The planners exchanged glances and mustered their courage to speak.

"A showdown? Are you all crazy?"

Liu Yaqi instantly flew into a rage, glaring at the game planners in front of her and shouting, "Don't you know how many players will quit this game?"

"But Mr. Liu, this matter is all over the place right now, we can't just ignore it."

"That's right, Mr. Liu. Zheng Fan is too popular. Unless the Trisolarans attack Earth, the hype won't go down."

Several planners spoke up helplessly.

As the game's planners, they naturally understood the immense impact of acknowledging the ELO mechanism.

But now that things have come to this, there are no other options.
