Douluo Continent Chat Group: Building My Academy

Chapter 28, Accumulate Grain, Delay Claiming Kingship

Having learned from his past life, Flander's first impression of the pirate world, a veritable cesspool, was naturally "rebellion."

So, the Celestial Dragons can only rule the world? Absolutely not.

Zephyr: Hahaha, you're right, forming the Neo Navy? Just what I wanted!

The name of justice still echoes across this sea, so why can't I shoulder it?

One day, I will raise the banner of justice on the Red Earth, in the Holy Land of Mary Geoise!

Zephyr made no secret of his ambitions; having grown increasingly disillusioned with the Navy and the World Government, he had long wanted to start his own independent force.

But facing the Navy, to which he had dedicated almost half his life, Zephyr ultimately couldn't overcome the obstacle.

Until recently, Zefa saw the future, and saw that someone would actually wield a sword against the powerful and wealthy, however naive or sudden.

[Zeff: That kid Dragon did a great job! Revolution! This world needs a massive revolution!]

Inside the Hogwarts Headmaster's office, Dumbledore's eyes flickered as he looked at Zephyr's still sharp edge. He wanted to say something, but his heart was filled with resentment, so he could only sigh and remain silent.

Grindelwald...

[Oki Yukinari: Well, that's true. The world over there definitely needs a rebuilding of order to get it back on track.]

Professor Oak strongly agrees with Zephyr, after all, he is someone who has personally witnessed the Pokémon world gradually move from instability to harmony and order.

It is necessary to purge the old guard of power and privilege.

Flander: Zephyr, it's good that you have this intention. After all, the situation in your world is indeed very turbulent, but these things can't be rushed.

Like Nadrag, although it's satisfying to settle scores quickly, developing power requires patience. I have an old saying: "Store up grain, build high walls, and delay declaring yourself king." This saying explains the reason.

In short, Zephyr, I'm glad you have this plan, but we shouldn't rush it.

In the future, after Zephyr completely turns to the dark side, this guy, along with several pacifist clones and two disciples, prepares to destroy the entire New World.

Without a doubt, at that time, Zephyr was less about upholding justice and more about channeling all the anger he had accumulated into revenge.

They were heading towards death.

Zephyr: Haha, I know. I won't do that again in the future. Don't underestimate me. I was once a Marine Admiral.

Until I am absolutely certain of my situation and have sufficient personnel, territory, and resources, I will remain in the navy and prepare gradually.

[Flanders: That's right.]

As the conversation continued, Flander and Professor Oak became increasingly interested in Zeff's "rebellion," while Dumbledore remained silent.

Flanders noticed this and, after thinking about it, understood what was going on.

This wizarding legend, the former headmaster of Hogwarts, is still caught up in the past.

Flander couldn't really say anything about it, since everyone's experiences are different, and he could only help out if the opportunity presented itself.

After all, in Flander's view, the magical world would eventually clash with the modern world, at which point Dumbledore would have to step in again.

It's always good to be prepared for the future.

……

He closed the chat group, logged in, and felt a gentle sea breeze on his face, which made his eyes light up.

Blue sky and white clouds, the scenery seems to have been washed clean by clear water, a country road with the scent of earth is under your feet, with neat wooden fences on both sides, houses scattered like building blocks, and several large windmills lazily turning their blades, tranquility and peace are overwhelming.

"Hey, Zephyr, this is my hometown, Windmill Village. What do you think? Doesn't it look great?"

Karp pointed ahead, ignoring the bruises around his eyes, and said enthusiastically that he hoped his old friend would like this place as much as he did.

Zefa nodded in agreement; without a doubt, this place could be considered a paradise on this vast sea.

The two strolled and chatted, followed by the navy from the dog-head ship. Their cloaks of justice fluttered in the wind, and as always, they blended seamlessly into the countryside.

Many people passed by along the way, and when they saw Garp, they immediately came over to say hello.

"Garp! Garp is back!"

"Vice Admiral Garp, back to rest again?"

"Want to grab a drink at Makino's tonight? Haha, it's on you, of course."

The villagers of Windmill Village all recognize Garp and call him by his name, occasionally calling him Lieutenant General, but mostly teasing him.

Karp laughed heartily and responded to each question, but he remained tight-lipped about the issue of drinking.

"Idiot, I'm drinking by myself too! I pay for my own drinks!"

"What the hell, stingy Garp."

The villagers chuckled, but didn't take it seriously. After chatting for a few more minutes, they dispersed.

During the visit, Garp briefly introduced Zephyr. Knowing that Zephyr was Garp's old comrade-in-arms, the villagers were very enthusiastic about him, even ignoring Garp and inviting Zephyr to go for a drink.

Garp was so angry that he cursed several times, but the villagers eventually dispersed amidst laughter.

Zefa wore a smile the whole way, and the thought that came to mind most often was, "This is wonderful."

Until we arrived at a pub called PARTYS BAR, the sounds of laughter and chatter could be heard from outside.

"Come on, Uta! We can't let Luffy win!"

"No, no, no, Luffy will definitely win! That kid has a huge appetite!"

"Haha, the betting begins! Those who think Uta will win, stand on the left; those who think Luffy will win, stand on the right."

"..."

Upon hearing this, Garp, who had been all smiles, momentarily looked bewildered. Only then did the villagers passing by realize what was happening.

Shanks and his group seem to be pirates?

Karp's face suddenly darkened, and he gently pushed open the tavern door, staring intently into the interior.

In the most prominent spot in the tavern, a young girl with red and white hair was eating noodles with her dark-haired, silly son.

Garp knew all the members of the Red-Haired Pirates, and he was clapping excitedly, betting on whether the two kids would win or lose.

Captain Shanks, in particular, was yelling like a monkey, cheering for both Uta and Luffy, determined to win on both sides.

Seeing this, Garp took a deep breath and shouted:

"Hey! Luffy, you absolutely can't lose! If you lose to that little girl, Grandpa will give you a loving fist!"

"Hmm!"

Hearing the familiar voice, Luffy turned around sharply and saw Garp. In his panic, he choked on his own, pounding his chest with all his might to catch his breath.

Seeing this, Uta immediately continued to stuff noodles into his mouth until the disc was ready, then proudly displayed it to the surroundings as if raising a trophy.

"Oh! Uta won!"

"Haha, Luffy is still a little brother after all."

"I lost, I lost. Luffy, you're such a disappointment~"

The Red-Haired Pirates erupted in boos and jeers, making Luffy even more frustrated, his face turning bright red.

Shanks smiled when he saw this, and was about to step forward to help Luffy, but someone was faster than him.

Zephyr patted Luffy on the back, the perfect force causing the noodles in his mouth to fall down.

Once freed, Luffy immediately took two deep breaths and looked at Uta defiantly, but then quickly looked back at Zephyr behind him.

"Thank you, purple-haired uncle."

"You're welcome."

Zephyr ruffled Luffy's hair, quite pleased with the little guy who hadn't yet gone astray.

Then, turning his head to look at Shanks, who had a solemn expression, Zeff smiled.

"I never expected to see you here, Red-haired Shanks."
