Hunter x Hunter: Card Master, the Strongest in the World.

An avalanche is imminent ahead.

To the right is a menacing herd of red-haired pigs.

Two dangers forced the candidates to make a choice.

Some test takers were lucky; they were positioned on the left side of the main group, far from the red-haired pigs and with a good chance of escaping the avalanche's reach. As a result, almost no one chose to give up and instead kept running to the left.

Of course, for every lucky one, there is an unlucky one.

The candidates on the right side of the main group are the unlucky ones.

They not only had to consider avalanches, but also deal with a herd of ferocious pigs that was about to rush towards them... This matter was more urgent than the avalanche.

Adult red-haired pigs are about two meters tall and weigh at least 500 kilograms. Wild red-haired pigs are often even more robust, and there is even a leader in the herd who is as tall as five meters and whose weight is hard to estimate.

"They're nothing but beasts!" A candidate dressed as a hunter, seeing that he couldn't dodge, had no choice but to grit his teeth, stop, and draw his bow on the spot.

He was a renowned hunter in his hometown!

He has killed bison and tigers weighing hundreds of kilograms... and his spoils are countless.

Animals lack intelligence and often act on instinct. As long as you can find their weaknesses, you can easily solve the problem.

whoosh-

The arrow pierced the air and struck the red-haired boar coming towards him precisely in the left eye, rendering its left eye completely useless.

It worked!

The hunter's face lit up with joy, revealing a smug expression.

Once you lose another eye, it will be easy to deal with blind beasts.

With one eye blinded, the red-haired boar became even more ferocious and agitated, its right eye turning crimson as it charged at the hunter with all its might.

The hunter took a deep breath and, with lightning speed, completed a series of actions: nocking the arrow, drawing the bow, and aiming. He was completely focused and then shot!

Unsurprisingly, the red-haired pig was also hit in the right eye.

Seeing that both of the red-haired boar's eyes had been blinded, the hunter chuckled and ran to his right, assuming that the boar would only charge towards the spot where he had just been.

However, while his idea was good, he didn't quite understand the characteristics of red-haired pigs.

Red-haired pigs have extremely poor eyesight but very keen hearing. They rely mainly on their hearing to move and are very sensitive to even the slightest noise nearby.

So the red-haired boar turned around and, to the hunter's horrified gaze, knocked him flying high into the air before he crashed heavily onto the snow.

The hunter wasn't the only one who died.

In a short time, the candidates on the right side were in complete chaos.

The herd of red-haired pigs roamed freely as if they had entered an uninhabited land.

Coincidentally, Lynn was one of these unlucky ones.

On the snow, Lynn stopped and stared expressionlessly at the red-haired leader charging toward him from not far away.

"Let me do it?" Chopper, sitting on his shoulder, volunteered.

"No, don't reveal yourself yet." Lynn shook her head slightly.

He planned to use Chopper's cute and harmless appearance as a surprise attack... just in case.

Therefore, he didn't let Chopper change his form, otherwise he could have ridden Chopper, the snow reindeer, all the way without having to do it himself.

This red-haired pig arrived at just the right time; it's perfect as a mount.

"roar!!"

The leader, the red-haired boar, charged wildly, knocking many people away along the way. In an instant, it closed to Lynn by more than ten meters, clearly regarding Lynn as its next target.

Lynn Gubo remained unfazed, merely glancing coldly at the scene. His Nen energy surged like boiling water, brimming with malice.

In an instant, the surrounding space seemed to be filled with ominous black and purple lightning, and a malevolent aura suddenly descended upon the red-haired pig.

The malice of a Nen user can create a great deterrent effect; it is a weakened form of Conqueror's Haki, which is effective at clearing out mobs.

"roar?!"

The red-haired pig's pupils dilated in shock, its thick fur stood on end, and it reacted with a primal, instinctive warning of danger from the heart of a wild animal, its survival instinct amplified countless times.

will die!

There was only one concept in its mind... If it continued to move forward, it would definitely die!

boom!

The leader, the red-haired pig, immediately stopped. The immense inertia made it difficult for it to maintain its balance, and its two front legs bent and knelt down, kicking up large snowflakes.

It was panting heavily, its eyes filled with fear as it looked at Lynn.

That can be considered submission.

Lynn didn't stand on ceremony and rode on the red boar's back with Chopper, letting it carry them to avoid the avalanche and continue their journey.

On the other side, the red-haired pig, which was still rampaging, paused.

The next instant, a glint of cold light emanated from its waist, revealing an extremely thin slit from bottom to top.

Bloody!

Thump—The red-haired pig's body was cut in half at the waist, splitting into two sections.

Hisoka slowly put away the playing cards; not a single drop of blood was on them.

He watched the departing leader, the red-haired pig, and seemed to have thought of something. A slight smile appeared on his lips, and a strange smile spread across his bewitching face.

He's a little thirsty... Should he pick some regular fruit to quench his thirst?

As many people fled in panic, the snow-capped mountain shook more and more violently. Finally, when it reached a critical point, the snow layer completely collapsed, and a catastrophe ensued.

On the high mountain slopes, thick snow rolled down like crazy, and the area it covered was expanding at an extremely rapid pace.

Faced with such an astonishing scene, Doris's reaction was completely unexpected.

She really had no intention of dodging; instead, she went straight for him!

To challenge the might of nature with one's own body is undoubtedly an act of suicide in the eyes of most people, but only Lynn and Hisoka know that Doris's actions have no consequences.

As an examiner, Doris is also a decent Nen user.

"50 points." As she sprinted, Doris's eyes shone as she scored the avalanche, her excitement spreading throughout her body.

Doris was born into a very traditional family.

From a young age, she was instilled with the idea that she should be a naive and refined young lady, paying attention to etiquette in everything she did, and spending a lot of time every day learning aristocratic etiquette, music, chess, calligraphy and painting.

But she didn't like this kind of life.

Living such a dull and monotonous life for a long time made her crave excitement. Her repressed emotions accumulated more and more, like this majestic snow mountain, and finally, on her eighteenth birthday... she avalancheed.

She ran away from home, lived the free life she had always dreamed of, and found her favorite thing to do—extreme sports!

The thrill of walking on the edge of life and death greatly boosted her adrenaline, and her brain experienced an unprecedented shock.

She's done everything from bungee jumping and skydiving to mountain climbing. Later, she learned about the existence of the Hunters, passed the first test, became a full-fledged Hunter, and learned Nen.

Since becoming a Nen user, she's been having even more exciting fun.

For example, climbing several mountains in one go or running for several days and nights in a row are common occurrences, all in order to push themselves to their limits step by step.

However, her experiences before the age of eighteen were so profound that she would occasionally use more formal terms like "this humble one".

At the same time, this also shaped her "pink on the outside, black on the inside" personality; for example, she set up many traps throughout the exam.

Even this avalanche was deliberately orchestrated by her, satisfying her desire for a challenge, making things difficult for the candidates, and ultimately reducing the number of test takers—a triple win.
