Hunter x Hunter: Card Master, the Strongest in the World.

As Lynn predicted, things are likely to change at tonight's auction.

To address this issue, the Ten Elders dispatched three members of the Yin Beasts: Owl, responsible for transferring the auction items, and Sick Dog and Centipede, who were in charge of the attack.

In addition to the auction, the sick dog also received a private commission.

A familiar gang asked him to teach the recently notorious Capone family a lesson, to show them what happens when they disobey.

So before the auction even started, he rushed to the Capone family's villa... It was just a second-rate gang, asking him to take action was like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Let's resolve this quickly.

The sick dog seemed to have entered an empty place, and soon arrived inside the villa. Walking on the empty corridor, it exuded a cold aura.

Just then, Basho, who was on patrol, strode out from around the corner ahead. Upon seeing a stranger, he immediately became alert and reflexively activated [Gather]... The other person was a Nen user!

Moreover, judging from the level of Nen, it is clearly above his!

"Oh? There are Nen users too?" The sick dog picked at his ear with his little finger, still unconvinced, and mocked, "Yeah, Nen users of this level only deserve to be second-rate gangsters."

That guy!

The fact that I suddenly appeared here without receiving any alerts indicates that the external security system was dealt with extremely quickly.

Basho frowned and subconsciously pressed the alarm on his waist. What he needed to do next was to buy as much time as possible!

The sick dog yawned, looking very lazy.

He naturally noticed Basho's little actions, but he ignored them and didn't even bother to stop them.

What good would it do to notify others? Even if there were several more Nen users like Basho, he could easily handle them.

The next moment, Basho's gaze hardened. He took out a haiku he had written beforehand and crushed it. His body suddenly felt lighter, and he rushed straight towards the sick dog, much faster than usual.

"My speed is incredibly fast, like the wind," he had just crushed a haiku, which successfully increased his speed.

In the blink of an eye, he rushed to the front of the sick dog, his right fist swirling with spiritual energy, about to strike the dog's face hard... His speed was enhanced in all aspects, including movement speed and attack speed.

However, the sick dog was faster than him!

The sick dog appeared beside Basho in a flash, casually raising his right hand to decapitate the latter with a chop to the neck.

Swah——

In a flash, an ice arrow hurtled towards the sick dog and struck its shoulder. The icy arrow pierced through Nian's defenses, and a chill that penetrated to the bone interrupted his attack.

The sick dog backed away a short distance, glanced at the bleeding shoulder, and then stared intently at Lynn and Capone, who were walking around the corner.

He only knew the latter, who, if he remembered correctly, was Caponebe himself.

As for Lynn, he was the one who had just attacked him, and Lynn subconsciously assumed that he was one of the Nen-wielding bodyguards from the Capone family.

Having been pulled back from the brink of death, Basho, disregarding her nervousness, hurriedly went to her boss's side, feeling somewhat embarrassed.

He was clearly a hired guard, yet he had to rely on his boss to save him.

In the corridor, three people faced one person. While the sick dog sized them up, Lynn was also observing the guy who was killed by Uvogin in the original story.

Sick Dog, belonging to the Shadow Beasts Unit, consists of only ten people, each codenamed after an animal.

The Shadow Beasts were the most prized subordinates of the gang leader, the Ten Elders, and were basically the strongest in the world's mafia... Then they encountered the Phantom Troupe and were brutally killed.

Objectively speaking, this doesn't necessarily mean the Yin Beast is too weak; it's mainly because the comparison isn't appropriate.

Although the Phantom Troupe isn't considered extremely strong, as consistently active Class A criminals, their strength is far beyond that of Nen users like the Shadow Beasts, who are used to easily defeating weaker opponents.

Among the Shadow Beasts, Sick Dog's strength is among the top. The fact that he could break through Uvogin's skin shows that this enhanced Nen user is quite skilled.

The reason why the sick dogs attacked them today is probably related to the "targeting from above" that Capone mentioned before.

Whatever the reason, now that the sick dog has come, it's not going anywhere.

"So, the infamous Yin Beast would actually grace our little villa with its presence?" Lynn asked expressionlessly.

Upon hearing this, the sick dog narrowed its eyes, its tone icy: "You recognize me? Regardless of how you know me, you know I'm a Yin Beast, yet you don't even think about running away. It seems you're quite confident in yourself?"

"Don't get too cocky just because you succeeded in your sneak attack!"

After saying that, the sick dog flashed and appeared in front of Lynn like a ghost, opening its mouth to reveal its sharp teeth, about to bite Lynn's shoulder.

Lynn just injured his shoulder, and now he's going to return the favor exactly the same way!

Once he bites you, that person is guaranteed to lose!

His Nen ability greatly strengthens his teeth, making them much harder than steel, and also contains extremely potent neurotoxins that can render an opponent immobile within moments, turning them into lambs to the slaughter at his mercy.

Unfortunately, Lynn knew everything about his Nen abilities.

Transmigrators are born with a powerful intelligence advantage, which becomes even more pronounced in Hunter x Hunter, a world essentially a war of intelligence.

For example, he has met Hisoka and Neon, and even the sick dog in front of him, as well as other characters from the original work whom he has not met before. He is very familiar with their Nen abilities, which gives him a natural advantage.

Lynn moved nimbly, dodging the attacks swiftly and repeatedly.

The sick dog felt like it was biting the air, unable to reach Lynn at all. In desperation, it unleashed its Nen energy, disregarding the cost, and finally closed the distance. It gathered a powerful amount of Nen energy in its mouth and was about to bite down!

In his view, the only formidable opponent on the field was Lynn.

Basho's strength is mediocre, and Capone can't read, so in his eyes he's just an ordinary person.

Faced with the swift attack, Lynn remained calm and composed, simply assuming a stance and releasing a large amount of cold air from his right hand!

In an instant, countless incredibly hard ice thorns sprang up from the ground, trapping the charging sick dog within them and greatly hindering its movement.

【Ice-inspired design • Thorn thicket】!

After a long period of practice, he can now cast ice-shaped magic with one hand and can also unleash large-scale spells.

Trapped in a thicket of thorns formed by ice crystals, the sick dog panicked for a moment, but quickly calmed down and began to clear away the thorns.

The next moment, Capone, whom he thought was an ordinary person, jumped to his side, spread his five fingers into a palm, covered with a strong Armament Haki, and grabbed his face and slammed it to the ground!

boom!

The thicket of icy thorns exploded instantly, and the sick dog immediately fell unconscious. Its last thought before collapsing was disbelief.

How could the Capone family be so troublesome?!

As the sick dog collapsed, Lynn also gained a new card.
