Hunter x Hunter: Card Master, the Strongest in the World.

"A chivalrous knight!!"

Franklin completely lost his composure.

Seeing the swordsman sent flying and motionless, he couldn't help but shout out, his heart filled with a sense of urgency.

Thoughts are the expression of the mind.

A person whose mind is unsettled will have their mental energy fluctuate wildly and become difficult to control. At this moment, Franklin's mental energy showed some fluctuations.

This is a sign that your training is inadequate.

If one reaches the level of Netero, the Nen energy on the surface of the body will be terrifyingly still, like a strictly operating machine, running day after day according to a set program, maximizing the effect of Nen energy itself.

A hero must not be harmed!

Franklin began brainstorming, forcing himself to calm down immediately. If he were a knight-errant, how would he break the deadlock?

First, the plan went wrong. The enemy hid too much information, so much so that they suffered from the information gap and failed to gain any advantage in the direct confrontation.

Survival is the most important thing.

In an instant, Franklin made a decision: he would leave with the knight-errant no matter what, and find a chance to take revenge later!

If he wants to break through, he has to do it as soon as possible; the longer it drags on, the worse it will be for him.

Thinking of this, Franklin's gaze sharpened, and an even stronger [Refinement] burst forth from his body. He gathered Nen in his hands, not hesitating to waste some of his Nen, just to push Capone away from his side. Then, he charged toward the swordsman at a speed that was beyond his physical capabilities.

He moved very fast, arriving beside the swordsman in the blink of an eye.

Suddenly, Hyakume-ki unleashed a burst of Nen energy and charged forward, its many eyes, fixed on Franklin, flashing with a dark purple light.

Driven by Lynn, he used his curse ability, sacrificing fifteen eyes to curse Franklin!

This is almost all of his remaining lifespan and eyesight.

Almost instantly, light appeared on Franklin's body, clinging to him like maggots.

What's going on?!

Franklin's patched-up face showed obvious surprise.

He felt his condition rapidly declining—his physical strength, his mental energy… This was clearly abnormal, a forced deprivation.

He caught a glimpse of Hyakume charging towards him out of the corner of his eye and thought to himself that this must be related to him. Could this strange Nen ability be a Specialist type?

Franklin had no time to think too much, so he forced his increasingly weak body to launch another attack. He raised his hand and suddenly fired psychic bullets from his ten fingers, trying to stop Hyakume.

The most important task at hand is to get the heroes out of danger, so killing the enemy is not the top priority; we just need to stop them...

Judging from his previous performance, this guy with many eyes doesn't seem to be good at attacking.

So when facing his Nen bullets, you either have to dodge or concentrate your Nen energy to defend yourself, otherwise you will most likely get injured or even die!

That's what Franklin thought.

Admittedly, he had thought things through very thoroughly, but unfortunately, Hyakume was just there to die. The curse had succeeded, so Hyakume's last remaining value was to create an opportunity for Capone!

Despite the barrage of bullets, Hyakume-ki maintained his speed and managed to block all the Nen bullets, but inevitably sustained injuries that left prominent blood holes on his body.

"Madman!" Franklin spat, a flash of anger crossing his eyes.

Is this person really that fearless and unafraid of death?

Even at the risk of death, we must stop him?

Since you don't want to live, then I'll grant your wish!

Franklin, facing the oncoming Hyakume, increased his Nen output, his ten fingers almost never stopping.

In just a moment, Hyakume was severely injured, barely able to breathe... Because he had just activated the curse, he had already exhausted too much of his spiritual energy, making it difficult for him to defend himself effectively.

The next moment, Capone charged out from behind Hyakume, his target being the greatly weakened Franklin, his fist turning the color of black iron.

On the other side, Lynn and Chopper also launched an attack. Chopper quickly approached Franklin, while Lynn swiftly released a burst of cold air, sending a series of ice spikes extending from the ground!

In an instant, Franklin was attacked from three directions!

Franklin gritted his teeth, raised his hand to block Capone's punch, and felt a heavy force coming from his arm.

Where his heel touched the ground, spiderweb-like cracks suddenly appeared.

It's not that Capone got stronger, it's that Franklin got weaker.

After numerous clashes and the curse of Hyakume-ki, his Nen energy has now dropped to an alarming level, making it difficult for him to launch effective attacks and defenses.

Peng!

Chopper punched Franklin in the waist, causing obvious injury to the latter who didn't have time to defend with [Flow] and [Steel].

Immediately, chilling ice spikes shot out from beneath his feet, not only restricting his movement but also piercing his legs.

With the three of them ganging up on him, Franklin's fate was already sealed!

After barely clinging to life for a few more breaths, Franklin was ultimately unable to hold on alone, with only a faint trace of his psychic energy protecting his body.

Capone reached out with his right hand, his palm like an iron clamp, and gripped Franklin's neck tightly, then twisted it forcefully.

A crisp sound of bones breaking rang out.

Franklin's eyes dimmed rapidly, and his body went limp as if his spine had been removed, collapsing to the ground with a heavy thud, kicking up a cloud of dust.

From then on, one person fainted and one person died!

Silence fell over the field.

Lynn looked at the two people lying on the ground and couldn't help but feel a pang of emotion.

The spider has twelve legs and a brain, but now he has removed two of its legs.

It's strange, really.

Even after he dealt with the two men, he still didn't know why he had been targeted. He wondered what he had done wrong.

But you'll understand once you control the swordsman.

He planned to examine the cards dropped by the two before deciding which card to use as the consumable for controlling the swordsman.

The two of them each dropped a card.

Let's start by looking at the card "Hero".

Name: Poké Ball

[Grade: B+]

[Type: Item Card]

[Background: Pokémon]

[Description: Originating from the Pokémon world, the Poké Ball can capture C+ rank and below with a 100% success rate. It has a certain probability of capturing B- to B+ rank objects, depending on the opponent's strength and status. However, it can only capture non-human creatures, and once successfully captured, the creature will be loyal.]

It's a Poké Ball?

Lynn thought about it and realized that it was quite similar to the knight's manipulation ability, except that one controls humans and the other controls non-human creatures.

This Poké Ball can always catch non-human creatures of C+ rank or lower, and has a certain probability of catching non-human creatures of B- to B+ rank.

It seems a bit unworthy of a B+ rank, since it's not guaranteed to capture B+ rank targets. However, there's no cost to it, and the capture rate can be increased by reducing the target's status.

As for non-human creatures... Lynn thought of the Sluk he had encountered in the Ice and Snow Maze, and even the Chimera Ants from the original story. It would be great to capture such dangerous creatures, such as catching an ant king as a henchman.
