Legendary Captain

Chapter 50 Summer Love

"Xu Xian, Xu Xian, you can do it. Use your clever little brain and think of what to do!" Xu Xian forced himself to remain calm and began to think of a solution.

He recalled that if the passenger in the front seat had been that fast, it must have been either inputting numbers or using a scanning method. Only scanning documents could be done so quickly.

The question now is, which ID card was scanned?

ID card? Employee ID? Meal card? Or... boarding pass? Judging by the size of the scanning area, it seems like every card could fit!

Xu Xian's head was throbbing again...

After much thought, Xu Xian still felt that scanning the employee ID card was the most likely option. He hesitated for a moment, then took the ID card out of the card holder on his chest and prepared to place it on the scanning area.

"It's okay if I put it in the wrong place!" Xu Xian comforted himself.

Just as Xu Xian nervously tried to scan the screen, his work badge was almost touching the scanning panel. Suddenly, Xu Xian's right wrist was intercepted.

Xu Xian subconsciously turned his head to look, only to find that the person holding his wrist was a flight attendant.

"Brother, this is your work badge, you've got the wrong one!" The flight attendant smiled at Xu Xian and released her grip on his wrist.

"Oh, I took the wrong one..." Xu Xian's face flushed slightly as he took back his work badge, creating an awkward moment.

Xu Xian took two steps back, making room for him: "Are you going to take a breathalyzer test? You can go first!"

The flight attendant was surprised by Xu Xian's politeness: "Thank you, sir. It seems there's a problem with the breathalyzer in our cabin crew preparation room, so we came to borrow yours."

"It's nothing, it's nothing!" Xu Xian waved his hand in a panic, his heart pounding in his throat.

Wow, this is exactly his type!

As the flight attendant turned around, Xu Xian took the opportunity to touch his face. It was burning hot; he even suspected that his face was probably as red as a monkey's butt.

What a shame!

Even though Xu Xian was completely infatuated, he still couldn't resist sneaking peeks at the flight attendants' actions.

He never imagined that the alcohol test would detect a food card. He considered many possibilities, but the food card was the least likely. Little did he know that the least likely food card was the correct answer.

The flight attendant quickly finished the breathalyzer test, turned around, and thanked Xu Xian again. It was during this turn that Xu Xian was able to see the flight attendant's name tag.

Summer Passion!

"Xia Qing?" Xu Xian suddenly remembered something: "Are you flying 6533 today?"

Xia Qing paused for a moment, then said, "Yeah! Oh, brother, are you with us?"

"I'm Xu Xian, the second co-pilot of flight 6533! What a coincidence!" Xu Xian said excitedly. He hadn't expected that he and Xia Qing would be on the same flight.

Perhaps it was the flight attendant's request, but Xia Qing's makeup was a little heavy. Xu Xian usually didn't like heavy makeup, but for some reason, he thought it looked good today.

Xia Qing was very tall, only a little shorter than Xu Xian, with relatively full lips and eyes that were even bigger than Lian Shanxue's.

Lian Shanxue's eyes always seemed misty and watery, giving her a pitiful look. Xia Qing's eyes, on the other hand, shone brightly, exuding a heroic and spirited air.

"Brother, you're here so early!" Xia Qing exclaimed in surprise.

Flight attendants are supposed to check in half an hour earlier than pilots, and even by those standards, she was already quite early. Surprisingly, the flight crew, who had more time to spare, arrived even earlier. This is extremely rare.

Xu Xian: "This is my first time flying, so I arrived a little early."

"Brother, is this your first time flying?" Xia Qing asked in surprise. "No wonder I've never seen you before."

Not long after Xia Qing finished speaking, an urging voice came from outside the door: "Xia Qing, are you done yet? The flight attendant is waiting for you to start the pre-flight meeting!"

Xia Qing then remembered that she had something important to do and quickly said to Xu Xian, "Brother, I have a preparatory meeting over there, see you later!"

"Okay, see you in a bit!" Xu Xian watched Xia Qing leave, his heart rate still not back to normal.

"Xu Xian, is your heart an automatic door? Does it open as soon as someone gets close?" Xu Xian took a few deep breaths and finally calmed his pounding heart.

To be honest, Xu Xian wasn't unfamiliar with beautiful women. Su Yalin and Lian Shanxue were both exceptionally beautiful, but he hadn't felt anything special about them. So why did his heart pound when he first saw Xia Qing today?

Could this be what it means to meet the right person?

This was so sudden! I was caught completely off guard by this feeling of being smitten!

Xu Xian wiped his face, cursing himself inwardly, "What the hell? I'm way past puberty, how could I be so unable to control myself?"

He doesn't really believe in love at first sight, but is he going to change his mind today? It doesn't make sense!

Regardless of the jumbled thoughts in his mind, Xu Xian finished the breathalyzer test first. Having watched Xia Qing's breathalyzer test before, he had already figured out the tricks of the trade.

Xu Xian found the white food card in the card holder, placed it on the scanning area, and a string of numbers appeared on the breathalyzer's display screen. Xu Xian scanned it—wasn't that his employee number?

So you scanned it correctly?

Shortly after Xu Xian's employee number appeared, the numbers on the display screen switched to Chinese characters, indicating that Xu Xian was now ready to undergo a breathalyzer test.

Following the example of others, Xu Xian continuously blew into the mouthpiece. After about three or four seconds, the display screen showed that the breathalyzer test result was normal, and a voice announcement was made at the same time.

"This is exhausting! Luckily I arrived early, or I would have been so embarrassed!" Xu Xian was somewhat relieved. It was fortunate he arrived early, giving him ample time to fuss. Otherwise, if he had arrived close to the sign-in time, wouldn't he have fully exposed his ignorance? At Xingyou Airlines, being late for sign-in meant a public reprimand and a fine of one thousand yuan, and Xu Xian knew exactly what the fines were.

After completing the breathalyzer test in a somewhat comical manner, Xu Xian suddenly felt lost again. What should he do next? Or should he wait for the other crew members?

Throughout the entire pre-flight preparation process, Xu Xian only knew about the breathalyzer check-in. Once that was done, there was no rush for the rest.

"Sigh... I should have known better than to come so early!" Xu Xian sighed and found a seat.

Without a first mate to guide you, getting around is really difficult!
