The nature of the virtual realm leans towards the so-called imaginary space. The three-dimensional space of the real world can be described by three sets of real numbers, while according to the definition of imaginary numbers, imaginary numbers can be represented by points on the number line.

Unlike real numbers, imaginary numbers cannot be compared in size, but this does not affect the construction of the imaginary space. The mathematical conversion between the real number space and the imaginary number space can be called the Fourier transform, so the imaginary number space can also be called the Fourier space.

The theory that elementary particles constitute everything in the world shows that the universe cannot be fully described by mathematics. The uncertainty of quantum mechanics in the microscopic world seems to have infinitely many details, which can be correlated with irrational numbers. Therefore, we can conclude that the imaginary space can be correlated with the imaginary numbers in mathematics. Thus, real solutions correspond to the real universe space, and imaginary solutions correspond to the imaginary space.

However, the virtual realm is not a completely imaginary space. After all, when things in the real space enter the imaginary space, everything stops. As a result, the imaginary space can basically only store inanimate objects. Living things that enter are similar to entering a hibernation chamber, and they need external force to revive.

The virtual realm and the imaginary space are intricately connected. The main reason the Emperor created it was to enable even technologically underdeveloped civilizations to break the light-speed barrier.

Wormhole travel technology requires a lower level of the star system to be achieved, while the hyperspace engine for hyperspace travel through the virtual realm can be created at a higher level of the star system.

The Emperor's love for all living beings led Him to create psychic energy. The emergence of psychic energy gave intelligent life powerful individual combat abilities, making them less vulnerable in the face of natural disasters.

Strictly speaking, all psionicists are merely a byproduct of high technology.

However, while intelligent life gains benefits, it also bears risks. That is, virtual gods will be born because of their faith, and these virtual gods may one day invade and create their civilization.

This can be seen as a measure to prevent civilization from becoming immersed in theology. Even if they don't survive, they won't be wiped out. At most, they will be captured by the gods of the Void Realm and become their servants. If this civilization is capable, it is not impossible for them to overthrow those gods of the Void Realm and regain their freedom in the future.

The unique environment of the virtual realm also provided a suitable home for electromagnetic field creatures. Every time these creatures spread through the air, that is, when they move, they consume a lot of energy. It can be said that without certain methods, they will die on their own if left unattended.

Besides these, there are the true virtual beings. Virtual beings have only one consciousness but many bodies, which are called Gestalt beings.

The first level is based on one's own body size as the growth factor. The recursion of the number of times one's own body size is repeated is called the first level of change. Repeating the first level of change of the number of times one's own body size is called the second level of change, and so on, with infinitely many levels of change, is the second level.

If the calculation of one's own size as a multiple of growth is a first-level calculation, then the second-level calculation is the operation from the first level to the second level. The second universe performs the second-level calculation based on the number of times its own size increases, repeating the recursion of the number of times its own size increases, which is a first-order, first-level iteration.

Repeating the previous operations based on the number of times the body is used as a first-order double iteration. Each time you advance to a new level or order, all the previous operations will be treated as a new calculation.

Until there are infinite orders and infinite weights, a third level will be obtained. The operations from the first level to the third level can be called three-level operations. The third level repeats the previous operations with the third level itself as the number of times, which is the fourth level, and so on.

This is without taking into account the synergy of the timeline. After all, [Crown], [Immortal], and [Seat] need to undergo trials, so [Emperor] specially made the virtual realm extremely solid.
