I have crossed the barriers of dimensions and stand on the steps called the First Cause. I move forward alone, toward the legendary abode of God, where hymns should be sung, where angels should be dancing. Yet, I am greeted only by deathly silence and the indifference of endless entropy. There is no all-knowing, all-powerful Father waiting for the prodigal son's return. The throne is empty, covered with the dust of the universe's birth. So-called truth is nothing more than geometry constructed by the laws of physics in the void. So this is it, so this is it, this is ultimate liberation. Since the throne is empty, since miracles are not merely the other side of legend, then I will use my observation to define the outline of all things. Here there is no God. Here there is only physics. Here there is only me. I sat down. At that moment, the expansion of the universe ceased. In that moment, the flow of time froze. In that moment, all the laws of physics cheered, all the fundamental particles worshipped. Love is force, hate is force, a pulse no different from gravity. I am the orphan of this universe, and also its king. I stand at the top of the food chain. All is silent. The demonic song ends. I am Alpha, I am Omega. I am the beginning, I am the end. I am the star god, I am… physics.
