Chapter 31 Sword Duel

"Bang!" The sound of shattering glass rang out, followed by the sound of a heavy object hitting the ground.

Mu Kange grabbed Yu Yi's head and smashed through the window, falling dozens of meters into the air. Using the force of gravity, he slammed Yu Yi hard onto the concrete ground just before he hit the ground.

The immense force created a small dent in the concrete floor, and after feeling the pain from the back of his head, Yu Yi finally overcame his shame and anger and entered a calm fighting mindset.

Yu Yi suddenly raised his knee and slammed it into Mu Kange's abdomen. Mu Kange, like a feline, leaped up using all four limbs to dodge the knee strike, which was enough to kill an ordinary person.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Yu Yi swung his arms, slapping his palms and tentacles on the cement ground. Using the reaction force, he quickly stood up, and Mu Kange, who was in the air, also leaned back and stood upright.

The power of the zero-level limit allows Mu Kange to jump several meters off the ground, so his hang time is longer than that of ordinary people. When Yu Yi got up, he was greeted by Mu Kange's kick.

Faced with this situation, Yu Yi immediately crossed his arms in front of him and bent his legs slightly to block the kick. Mu Kange took the opportunity to create distance, but unexpectedly, Yu Yi's tentacles had somehow wrapped around his legs.

"Bang!" Mu Kange was slammed heavily to the ground by Yu Yi. The hard cement ground was smashed open, and several pieces of gravel flew out.

Then Yu Yi lunged forward and threw a punch at Mu Kange. As his left hand shot out, the immense force pressed against the air, creating a whooshing sound.

Mu Kange was not to be outdone, and threw a punch with both hands at the same time. When their fists collided, a muffled sound was heard, as if the air itself was involuntarily groaning.

Meanwhile, Mu Kange's other punch forced Yu Yi to roll to the side, simultaneously freeing the tentacles wrapped around Mu Kange's legs.

"My God, they fell from the fifth floor and were fine, and they even started fighting like crazy."

"Wow! Honey, come quick, come see some real masters fighting!"

"Life is about watching masters fight to make it worthwhile!"

Passersby only then realized what was happening and started taking out their phones to film.

The two stood up at the same time. Yu Yi's face was expressionless. He didn't want to ask who this Uchiha Obito was or why he had come to attack him. He just silently got into a fighting stance, ready to make a move at any moment.

Mu Kange, however, was different. Although he also remained silent and maintained his stance, he was inwardly cursing: "Why does it hurt so much? Damn online novels, they're so harmful."

Perhaps due to his position, Yu Yi found himself on the road. Upon seeing this, the drivers panicked and stepped on the gas, accelerating towards him.

So Yu Yi made the first move, stomping heavily on the ground and flying towards Mu Kange, while simultaneously using his left hand as a pincer and his right hand as a fist to attack Mu Kange's chest and abdomen respectively.

Seeing this, Mu Kange blocked Yu Yi's pincer hand with his right arm, and then grabbed the arm formed by the five tentacles of the opponent with his left hand, and pushed it downwards.

However, to his surprise, Yu Yi actually braced himself in a horse stance, resisting the inertia, and his tentacles separated, like five whips lashing at him. At the same time, his left hand bent outward and elbowed Mu Kange.

Upon seeing this attack that violated human anatomy, Mu Kange immediately kicked backward, and amidst flying debris, he narrowly escaped Yu Yi's attack range.

"Frog Fun, this demon is so cunning." Mu Kange felt a headache coming on when he thought about how this guy's strength was not much different from his own, but he had several more abilities. Being the same as Ouna did not mean there would be no difference in the fight. The more special abilities one had, the more varied the fighting style would be.

Mu Kange also discovered that Yu Yi's left hand skin had become able to reflect a metallic luster at some point, which was one of his abilities: hardening.

"As expected, I still have to use a sword." Mu Kange, who only knew how to use a sword, took a few steps and came to a street lamp. Then he drew an iron sword.

This was something he had arranged beforehand. He had prepared to fight his way downstairs from the beginning. Although it was inconvenient to use the "Severing Mortal Ties" and "Cutting Off Worldly Bonds" techniques, the iron sword he had bought casually was still fine.

Seeing this, Yu Yi also completely stiffened his left hand and then pulled it off. Perhaps because his left hand was detachable, no blood flowed out.

Mu Kange took the lead, closing the distance and leaping up to strike downwards. To launch a surprise attack while jumping and striking downwards requires not only speed but also strong control over the sword; otherwise, if the control is not good, the opponent will be wide open upon landing.

Yu Yi reacted quickly, turning sideways and using his hardened left hand to strike the sword. He then used the recoil to retreat and create distance. Mu Kange, after landing, changed to a bow stance and swept his sword at Yu Yi. With Mu Kange's momentum at its peak, Yu Yi had no choice but to parry.

After his sweeping sword was blocked, Mu Kange changed his sweeping motion to an upward slash. Yu Yi realized Mu Kange's intention and quickly raised his leg to kick the sword from the side, and then retreated again.

Since the opponent retreated and created distance, Mu Kange had to follow up. After a flourish of his sword, he aimed at Yu Yi again and delivered a downward slash. This time, Yu Yi could only use his hardened left hand to block the sword.

Seeing his downward slash blocked, Mu Kange stepped forward again and countered with a sword strike, but it was still easily blocked. Mu Kange had no choice but to use the force of the recoil to rotate his wrist and deliver another sweeping sword strike.

But would Yu Yi be so easily hit?

Seeing that his sweeping sword attack had failed, Mu Kange raised his wrist and thrust his sword diagonally downwards at Yu Yi. Yu Yi blocked it again, and Mu Kange flicked his sword, pressing it upwards along his hardened left hand, trying to push Yu Yi down.

Seeing this, Yu Yi bent down and leaned back, turning his right hand to block the sword with his hardened left hand. Mu Kange immediately turned to thrust with a straight sword, but it was intercepted by a downward interception from his hardened left hand.

The next moment, the two moved a distance in tacit agreement. Yu Yi blocked Mu Kange's bow-step thrust with a horse stance and sword stance. Now it was Yu Yi's turn to turn defense into offense. He hardened his left hand into a sword and slashed at Mu Kange, but Mu Kange blocked the sword and slid the sword up and down.

However, Yu Yi countered with an upward slash, causing Mu Kange to raise his sword to his chest to defend. Seeing that this attack was ineffective, Yu Yi lightly leaped up and thrust his left hand straight at Mu Kange, who had anticipated this situation and performed a somersault to dodge the thrust.

As Yu Yi fell, Mu Kange swept his sword again, but Yu Yi blocked it with a lowered sword. Helpless, Mu Kange had to withdraw his sword and thrust it horizontally, but the horizontal thrust was also blocked by Yu Yi's blocking sword.

The instant the attack was blocked, Mu Kange used the recoil to deliver a whirlwind forehead slash to Yu Yi, which Yu Yi dodged by tilting his head back. He then kicked off with his hind leg and raised his hardened left hand to strike Mu Kange's head, but was forced to stop just before it struck.

It turned out that Mu Kange had already completed the pursuit and interception, and the tip of his sword was almost about to pierce Yu Yi's tentacle, resulting in a stalemate.
