The eldest son shouted and swung his sword at him. Norn stepped forward, dodged to the side, snatched the sword from his hand, and then struck the eldest son in the face with his elbow.

The eldest son's nose was completely shattered, and he collapsed unconscious with his face covered in black and blue marks.

The youngest son rushed forward at this moment, but before the sword could strike, a flash of cold light appeared beside his ear, and his right ear was sent flying off with a blood-red trail.

"Whoa! My ears!"

Norn ignored his youngest son rolling on the ground, because Batel had already quietly circled around behind him and was now thrusting his iron sword at him.

With a clang, the iron sword was deflected by Norn. At that moment, Bartel suddenly swung his left hand, and a large cloud of dark purple powder rushed towards them.

"Oh no! It's black lavender powder!"

Norn quickly covered his mouth and nose, closed his eyes, and was about to retreat to create distance when a sharp pain suddenly shot through his chest.

Bartel's iron sword was plunged deep into Norn's chest, right where his heart was.

"It's over. You've really disappointed me, Mr. Norn."

Bartel did not draw his sword, but released it, leaving it against Norn's chest.

Just when he thought Norn was about to fall, Norn suddenly raised his right hand and grabbed Bartel's head.

Batel heard the crackling sound of electricity passing through his ears and stared in horror at the white arcs of electricity appearing around him.

The next second, Battulga's body tensed up, his hair stood on end, and he collapsed unconscious.

Norn left Bartel behind, gripped the hilt of his sword with his right hand, and pulled hard, drawing the iron sword out of his chest.

"We underestimated them. Luckily, we transferred their heart beforehand."

He then walked up to his youngest son, who was still conscious. The boy covered his ears and was so terrified when he saw Norn, who had been stabbed in the heart but was still alive, that he wet himself on the spot.

Norn originally intended to interrogate Bartel, since the guy had two sons who were his weaknesses, making it relatively easier to pry his mouth open.

"Tell me, where is the key to the iron cage outside?"

Norn placed one foot on his youngest son's chest, the tip of his sword pressed against his lower lip, ready to plunge in at any moment.

"You, if you have the guts, kill me! I'll do anything..."

Norn plunged the sword into his youngest son's mouth, rummaged around inside for a while, and then slashed it out, tearing his son's mouth open instantly.

"Aaaaaah!!! You bastard!!"

The youngest son's mouth was full of blood, and several teeth had been pried out. Even so, he still didn't intend to tell Norn where the key was, and just cursed incoherently.

"This guy usually seems a bit dim-witted, but I didn't expect him to be so principled."

Having no other choice, Norn kicked his youngest son unconscious, then found a rope and tied all three of them up tightly before throwing them next to Pulsey.

Then Norn went to the iron pot, scooped out a few bowls of the already somewhat cold stewed beef, and went outside.

The sounds of fighting in the cave had clearly attracted the attention of the imprisoned demi-human girls. Several of the better-behaved girls got up and listened curiously to the commotion inside.

At this moment, Norn walked over and startled them, so they quickly lay down on the ground and pretended to be dead.

However, they soon smelled an incredibly enticing aroma, and when they opened their eyes, they found a bowl of fragrant beef in the iron cage.

They stared in disbelief at the tall figure walking past the cages; the new, unfamiliar man was actually distributing beef to each cage!

"Big brother? Did you come to save us?"

A cat-like girl with orange-yellow fur mustered up her courage and asked.

Norn turned and smiled at it, then raised his voice to address the long-suffering demi-human girls:

"Yes, I've subdued those bad guys, but you'll have to stay in this cage a little longer because I haven't found the key yet. Now, eat some beef to replenish your strength. If that's not enough, there's bread, jerky, and cheese inside. I'll also bring you water."

After she finished speaking, a deathly silence fell over the surroundings, and all the demi-human girls froze in unison.

The scene I had dreamt of so many times was now right in front of me. The home I thought I could never return to was suddenly within reach. All the emotions that had been suppressed for so long were released at this moment, and they embraced each other and cried loudly.

After Norn finished dividing the beef in the iron pot, he went back and forth several times to bring water and more food to the girls.

Having eaten and drunk their fill, they became much more lively, and the dimly lit corridor was unusually filled with laughter.

Norn splashed a glass of water on the unconscious Batel.

In a daze, Batel slowly opened his eyes, and something bright red suddenly entered his blurry vision.

Once his vision returned, the scene before him was heartbreaking.

His youngest son, who had fainted, was facing him, his mouth covered in dried blood. His left cheek, which had been cut open, was larger than his right, making him look like a crooked-mouthed emoji.

Through the open mouth, the scene inside was even more gruesome, with blood filling the entire oral cavity and flowing out from the corner of the mouth that was tilted to the left.

"You bastard, what did you do to my son?!"

Bartel's blood rushed to his head, his eyes turned bloodshot, and his mouth opened as if he wanted to swallow Norn whole.

"Don't worry, he's not dead. Your lives should be decided by those demi-humans."

Norn took out a sharp, thin bayonet and gently placed the tip of the blade against his youngest son's eye.

Feeling discomfort in his eyes, the youngest son woke up and, upon seeing the sharp knife next to his eyeball, immediately broke down and cried out.

"Don't hurt my son, Norn. I know you're not someone who enjoys torture, but you want to know where the key to the iron cage is, right?"

Hearing his youngest son's screams, Batel softened and tried to ask in a calm tone.

"Well, a wise man submits to circumstances. Tell me quickly, lest your son suffer any more pain," Norn said, putting down the dagger.

"Before I finish, I want to ask you for a favor, Norn. Spare my two sons' lives! I was the one who led them into this; it has nothing to do with them. If you're going to kill someone, kill me instead!"

"Hmph, now that things have come to this, do you think you have the right to negotiate with me? If you knew this would happen, why did you get involved in this heinous business in the first place?"

"Hahaha!!" Batel suddenly laughed miserably. "Do you think everyone is like you? Handsome, magical, making money is as easy as drinking water. The life savings of us ordinary people might not even be enough for you to go to a brothel once."

Of course you can uphold your benevolence and morality with a clear conscience, but what about me? If I don't do this business, my sons and I will have to eat black bread for the rest of our lives, living in the mud forever! I accept this fate, but please don't drag my sons down with me, this is my last request!

Norn stared coldly at the tearful father and son and replied, "No, your son is an accomplice too. They will definitely be punished. Instead of pleading with me, you should think about how to mitigate their crimes in court later, and maybe even save them from the death penalty."

After hearing this, Bartel was completely disheartened and remained silent for a long time before telling Norn the location of the key.
