Tokusatsu: Me, the Police God in the Kamen Rider World
Chapter 1 The Blonde Newcomer and the Everlasting Memory
The Fengdu Police Station was unusually lively today, even noisier than when they were arresting three adulterants.
The reason is simple: a new recruit from the Tokyo Police Academy arrived.
An ordinary newcomer couldn't possibly create this kind of spectacle.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Academy is one of the top schools in the country, and graduates from there are rare finds in Tokyo.
A group of patrol officers huddled together, tiptoeing to peek at the door, chattering incessantly.
"See that? That's the big shot from Tokyo! He looks way too young!"
"Of course! They're top students from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Academy; I heard their grades are all outstanding!"
"That's strange. Why would someone so capable give up a good life in Tokyo and come back to our Fengdu?"
"I heard he's a local from Fengdu, probably sentimental. He seems like a reliable person?"
Whether he's reliable or not is hard to say, but building a good relationship first is always the right thing to do!
The crowd chattered amongst themselves, making a racket like a marketplace, but no one dared to step forward and start a conversation.
They didn't even have the courage to ask for my name.
The man surrounded was sitting on a bench, leaning lazily against the back of the chair, his blond hair hanging down in front of his forehead, covering half of his blue eyes.
Occasionally, when I look up, the brightness is even more dazzling than the sun in Fengdu.
He was tall and straight, dressed in a black suit, but he had no airs of aloofness. There was a faint smile on his lips, and he didn't look like a high-achieving student who was putting on airs at all.
He is Minato Namikaze, who was transported to the world of Kamen Rider W eight years ago in a daze, along with a police god system.
The system gave him a task back then: to become a policeman. Minato accepted without hesitation.
He used to think the police in Kamen Rider were so weak that Agito was almost driven crazy with frustration, and the Hikawa team was the only ones who could save the day.
Even if he has to step in, he should at least clear the name of the police.
With the identity provided by the system, he smoothly entered the Tokyo Police Academy, and with his indomitable spirit, he graduated with excellent grades.
On graduation day, he packed his bags and returned to Fengdu, not for any other reason than that the system had said that once he officially put on his police uniform...
All features will be unlocked, and there are also newbie rewards to claim.
Just as Minato was pondering what good things the system could offer, a voice came from the superintendent's office, gentle and soft, clearly aimed at him:
"Minato Namikaze, please enter!"
He immediately straightened up, patted off imaginary dust from his suit, a hearty smile spreading across his face, and strode into the office.
He raised his hand in a standard salute, his voice clear and slightly playful: "Reporting, Superintendent! Minato Namikaze, reporting for duty. Nice to meet you!"
Behind the desk, the middle-aged police superintendent smiled and waved his hand, his eyes revealing approval: "Don't be so reserved. From now on, you'll be Minato Namikaze's patrol officer."
Shuimen knew perfectly well that patrol officers were at the bottom of the hierarchy, but judging from the superintendent's attitude, promotion was only a matter of time.
The superintendent gave him a few brief instructions and subtly mentioned, "I value you highly, do a good job," before letting him go to collect his uniform.
As soon as he left the office, Shuimen rushed to the place where he received his uniform, so fast that he almost knocked over the patrol officer next to him.
After receiving his police uniform, he quickly went into the fitting room. His hands were trembling slightly as he put on the clothes; the system was about to be activated.
Just as he put on his police hat, a system notification sounded in his mind: "Ding, Police God System loaded! All functions are now available."
Minato took a deep breath, suppressing his excitement and maintaining a calm demeanor, and asked telepathically, "System, tell me what your abilities are?"
The system slowly explained: You can receive a gift pack by checking in at the police station daily. The gift pack contains equipment, belts, and items that improve physical fitness.
There are also auxiliary functions that allow you to craft items as needed, but these require sign-in points, which are obtained by defeating monsters and solving cases.
As soon as he finished speaking, the system notification sounded again: "Ding, the newbie gift pack is available to claim. Do you want to claim it?"
"I'll take it! I absolutely have to!" Minato agreed in his mind without even thinking.
"Ding! Newbie gift pack activated, including onboarding mission rewards. Congratulations, host, you have obtained one T2 Gaia Memory Eternal, one Lost Driver, and 3000 sign-in points."
The next second, the cool driver and the pure white memory appeared in his hand.
Minato gripped the memory chip, pressed it lightly with his fingertips, and the sound of "eternal" rang out. His eyes lit up, and he grinned.
"Wow, system, that's impressive! It's permanent memory, and a T2 one at that!"
He was puzzled; a memory of this level, like Eternity, wasn't something just anyone could use. He was just about to ask about system compatibility...
The system spoke first: "Host, there's no need to worry. The memory produced by the system is 100% compatible with you."
"All done!" Minato happily stuffed the memory and drive into his pocket, just about to ask about the system details.
The police station alarm suddenly went off, and chaos erupted outside.
"Something terrible has happened! The Winskel Building is under attack!"
"Police dispatch! Police dispatch!"
Minato's eyes lit up even more when he heard this. Perfect timing! He had just gotten his equipment and already had work to do!
He casually straightened his police uniform and rushed out with the main group, shouting as he ran, "Wait for me, everyone! Rookies can help too!"
When they arrived at the scene, it was chaotic. The building's foundation had collapsed, and there were still signs of burning and vandalism. Private cars were completely blocking the road.
The complaints of the drivers rose and fell. Not far away, Sonozaki Wakana frowned, looking at the blocked road ahead, and couldn't help but click her tongue.
Shuimen jumped out of the police car and, without even having time to observe the scene, was immediately surrounded by a group of patrol officers.
A man in casual clothes approached him, pointing at him with a bewildered look: "Who are you?"
This is the crime scene; all bystanders, please keep to your distance!
Shuimen laughed heartily, patted his police uniform, and shook the badge on his chest:
"Don't panic, don't panic. Minato Namikaze, you're a new patrolman who just reported for duty today. You're no ordinary person. We'll be working together from now on, so please take care of me!"
"Minato Namikaze, the new patrolman."
Upon hearing this, the police officers present were all stunned.
This name has become a household name in the police station recently; it belongs to the person who voluntarily applied to come to Fuuto from the Tokyo Police Academy.
"You're that high-achieving student from Tokyo?" someone couldn't help but ask.
Minato nodded gently, a bright and warm smile on his lips, his eyes slightly upturned, a sight that warmed the heart.
After confirming his identity, the police officer who had questioned him scratched his head, looking completely bewildered.
"Aren't you only officially starting work tomorrow?"
Why are you here today?
As soon as he finished speaking, the slight languor on Minato's body vanished instantly, and his previously somewhat unfocused eyes suddenly became clear and serious.
"When you're a police officer, there's no such thing as working hours," he said bluntly, with a defiant spirit.
"We're ready to go anytime if needed!"
His sudden seriousness startled everyone, but they were immediately filled with admiration.
No wonder this kid is a top student from Tokyo and is valued by his superiors; his awareness is something most people can't match.
"Bang!"
The man who appeared to be the team leader suddenly raised his hand and slapped the policeman who had just asked the question hard on the back of the head.
"Did you hear that, Masakura? Look at the awareness of this newbie, you should learn from him!"
