Tokusatsu: Me, the Police God in the Kamen Rider World

Chapter 5 Tyrannosaurus Memory: Killing Intent Beneath a Delicate Appearance

It was fine before, but after it happened so many times, Minato inevitably got annoyed, and that negative emotion always lingered around him.

Later, he simply stopped replying to letters for a while, and after going to Tokyo, he only replied to one letter in two years.

Looking at the mountain of letters, Minato scratched his face, feeling a little embarrassed.

It would be really unreasonable for him not to reply to such a young girl who wrote so much.

So he found a piece of paper, wrote some casual words and a few words of comfort, folded it up and mailed it out, then washed up and went to bed.

The next morning, as dawn broke, golden sunlight streamed through the gaps in the branches into the apartment, warmly bathing the water gate.

He stretched and sat up, the languidness in his eyes vanishing instantly, replaced by a sharp and wise gaze.

This was his first official day at work, so he couldn't afford to be careless.

He got up quickly, ate a simple breakfast, and rushed to the police station.

As soon as I stood still, I silently said in my mind, "System, sign in!"

"Ding, check-in successful. Host has obtained T2 memory Cyclone."

The system's calm voice rang in his mind, and a green memory instantly appeared in his palm.

"Wow, it's the Hayate Memory! And it's T2!" Minato's eyes lit up, and he muttered to himself.

"Does this mean I get T2 memory every time I sign in?"

He didn't necessarily have to come to the police station to sign in; he just felt it would be more ceremonial and he wanted to join in the fun.

He discreetly tucked the memory chip into his pocket, a smirk playing on his lips, and went straight to the police chief.

Today is his first official day at work, so there needs to be some arrangements.

The police chief had always thought highly of him, and after giving him a few brief instructions, he assigned him to work under Renno to learn how to handle cases.

"What you learn at the police academy is all theory. You have to accumulate practical experience slowly. Learn more from Renye."

Minato smiled and agreed, then turned and went to Renno's office.

As soon as I pushed open the door, I saw Renno rubbing his temples in a panic.

It turns out that Togawa Yosuke's body had just been discovered, and with the addition of information from Shotaro Hidari, it has been confirmed that Togawa is a hybrid.

Seeing Minato enter, Renno forced a smile: "Inspector Minato Namikaze, you've arrived."

"Mr. Renno, don't be so formal, just call me Minato!" Minato waved his hand, his tone light and cheerful.

"By the way, Mr. Renno, that address I asked for..."

"I already looked it up for you," Renno said, handing over a slip of paper with Marina's address on it.

Minato took the note, knowing exactly what was going on.

To find evidence, I'll have to meet with Marina in person; the police station is probably too busy right now.

He carefully put the address in his pocket and drove off to his destination.

When they arrived at Marina's apartment building, Minato parked the car and, after searching for a short while according to the address, found the woman in the photo.

Marina was about to leave when she closed the door and hurried downstairs.

Minato strode forward, a bright smile on his face: "Excuse me, are you Ms. Marina?"

Marina paused for a moment, then turned her head, her gaze clearly dazed when it fell on Minato's face. The man before her was handsome, always smiling, and exuded warmth; it was hard not to be captivated.

Minato, feeling a little embarrassed by the stare, scratched his head and said, "I'm Police Officer Minato Namikaze. I want to ask you something."

"Hello..." Marina managed a weak smile, looking tired and frail.

Upon hearing the word "police," a flash of murderous intent crossed his eyes, and his tone turned colder. "What do you want, officer?"

That murderous intent vanished in an instant, but it did not escape Minato's eyes.

He remained calm and his tone was still gentle: "I'd like to ask about your boyfriend, Yosuke Togawa."

Upon hearing this, Marina's murderous intent intensified.

Just as Minato was about to ask another question, a familiar voice suddenly rang out: "Maria?"

The person who arrived was none other than Shotaro Sato, that half-baked tough-guy detective.

He saw Minato standing to the side, paused for a moment, then raised his hand to greet him: "Mr. Minato?"

"Mr. Shotaro, what a coincidence," Minato replied with a smile.

This was the second time the two had met, and they were being very polite. However, the fierce fighting spirit burning in Shotaro's eyes still made Minato pause for a moment.

He doesn't have much interaction with this guy, so why does he look like he wants to have a showdown?

On second thought, a policeman and a detective, both entangled in illicit affairs, are bound to see each other as adversaries.

Minato couldn't help but smile, not taking it to heart.

Shotaro looked away, pointed at Marina, and asked Minato with a puzzled expression, "Do you need to see her?"

"Yes, there's something I want to ask her." Minato nodded.

Marina subconsciously leaned closer to Shotaro, her posture becoming increasingly delicate.

Minato reacted quickly, taking advantage of the moment she turned to the side.

He secretly used a small razor blade he carried to make a small cut in her bag.

When Togawa Yosuke was mentioned earlier, she subconsciously touched her bag; the memory must be inside.

The sound of the blade slicing was very soft; the next second, several items fell out of the bag.

Cosmetics, a small mirror, and a memory chip!

"Ah!" Marina exclaimed in surprise, frantically trying to retrieve the memory, but it was too late—Minato and Shotaro had seen it all clearly.

Minato shrugged, his tone certain: "It really is you, Marina-san. The Tyrannosaurus Memory is right here with you."

Shotaro looked at Marina in astonishment and disbelief: "Marina? How could it be you?"

Why?

Now that things had come to this, Marina stopped pretending, a mocking smile playing on her lips as she looked at Minato:

"I knew you'd found out, officer." She licked her red lips, her eyes filled with murderous intent, her tone both ambiguous and dangerous.

"What an amazing officer! Handsome and smart. I'm increasingly tempted to 'eat' you up."

"Thank you for the compliment, but I'll skip the rest." Minato waved his hand with a smile.

Before she could react, he threw a punch at her.

Why waste effort waiting for her to transform when you can take her down before she transforms?

He's not that rigid, insisting on a fair fight.

But this punch was blocked by Shotaro Sato.

With a muffled thud, Shotaro Hidari gasped in pain, his brows furrowing tightly.

Minato's strength was much greater than he had imagined!

"Shotaro-san, what are you doing?" Minato frowned helplessly.

His tone carried a hint of helplessness, not coldness, but it left no room for refusal: "I need to arrest the criminal."

Shotaro withdrew his swollen hand, enduring the pain as he said:

"I'm sorry, there are still some things I don't understand, so I can't let you arrest her now."

"That's your business, but she's a prisoner, I can't just leave her like this."

As Minato spoke, he lightly lifted his foot and kicked out with restraint. Caught off guard, Shotaro was kicked so hard that he staggered back several steps before crashing into the wall to regain his footing.

His attempt to stop her gave Marina the opportunity to transform.

Marina quickly took a few steps back, licked her red lips, looked at Shotaro Hidari, and spoke in a tone that was both charming and cold:

"Thank you so much, Xiao Xiang. Without you, I wouldn't even have had the chance to transform."
