Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

"Activate the effect of the Ancient God of Inferno: When it is successfully Synchro Summoned, banish cards from your opponent's Graveyard based on the number of cards in their hand, and the Ancient God of Inferno gains 200 ATK for that number! "

Kanpaku shows the number of cards in his hand.

He had already covered all the cards he could, and now he only had two cards left in his hand!

Shinichi Enya waved his hand.

"So, I can banish two cards from your graveyard! I've chosen Next-Generation Controller and Card Draw Frog!"

Is this some kind of grave-digging attack?

Then Guan Bai will have to retaliate with something good!

He opened the cover card directly.

"Activate the forced escape device, select your Ancient God of Inferno, I want him returned to your Extra Deck!"

"Don't even think about it, activate Counter Trap, Infernal Counter! Banish the new Infernal Fire Source from your Graveyard to negate and destroy your Trap Cards!"

Not to be outdone, Yanwu Xin followed up with a counter-trap to join the chain.

Only then did Guan Bai realize that the Infernal deck actually had a counter-attack card that could counter spells and traps!

The ancient god of the fiery hell raised his right hand, and a terrifying sea of fire spread from his palm, scorching and churning throughout the entire area.

It tore apart everything in its way, and plundered the souls from the two graveyards to fuel its burning furnace.

Now, it's even more powerful!

"Excellent, Ancient God of Inferno, let everyone witness your power!"

Yanwu Xin excitedly shouted and entered the battle phase without hesitation.

"The ancient god of fire attacks the next-generation water-powered beings with ancient fire waves!!"

The scorching attack rapidly approached the next-generation water-powered man, who spread his arms and stood in front of Kanpaku without hesitation, determined to withstand all the attacks from the enemy!

We can't just let ourselves get humiliated like this!

Amidst the sweltering heat, Kanpaku quickly sent in a card from his hand, revealing a card that had been face-down before the turn.

"Activate a Trap Card, let's team up!"

"Discard the next-generation army from your hand, making the Ancient God of Inferno's attack and defense the same as itss until the end of this turn!"

【Ancient God of the Fiery Hell】

[Seven Stars] 2900/200→2300/1300

A green phantom rose from the graveyard, joining forces with the next-generation water-powered beings who were struggling to sustain the firepower to withstand the power of the ancient god of fire.

The two monsters combined their power, unleashing a powerful purifying wave that clashed with and neutralized the raging sea of fire of the ancient god of the fiery hell!

Water and fire clashed and extinguished each other, and white steam enveloped the entire venue!

Only after the fog condensed and settled could the audience see what was happening on the field.

"A spectacular battle!! The powers of water and fire clashed fiercely at this moment, and the powers of the water elementalist and the god of fire neutralized each other!!"

The host reacted the fastest, loudly explaining the progress of the match.

"Right now, only Kanpaku has a next-generation searcher on the field! It seems that while the new Enryaku's struggle is terrifying, Kanpaku still has the upper hand!"

Guided by the host, the audience cheered loudly for Guan Bai's name.

In the dueling arena surrounded by the audience, both Kanpaku and Enya Shin were panting heavily.

"Wow, that's amazing! You're even more impressive than I imagined!"

Although Yanwu Xin's voice was somewhat dejected, he still showed no sign of giving up.

Guan Bai said half-jokingly.

"Even though you know I'm strong, you probably don't want to put down your Duel Disk right now, do you?"

Yanwu nodded, his voice even more resolute.

"Of course, true duelists fight to the very last moment! My turn is over!"

The turn of the recluse.

"My turn, draw a card..."

The one I drew is the next-generation Hot Furnace.

Ha, this kid's really lucky, he can survive one more round.

"Combat phase. Next-generation searcher, direct attack!"

Under the searcher's iron fist, Yanwu Xin was knocked back several steps.

The accumulated damage left obvious marks on his clothes, his stamina was almost depleted, and even the fluctuations of his power as a mental duelist had weakened considerably.

[New LP for Yanwu: 2200 → 600]

"A devastating blow! Kanpaku's offensive never shows mercy! The new Enya fighter's base score is now like a candle in the wind; one more blow and it will be zero!"

The host skillfully used his words to maintain the suspense of the competition.

"I wonder what kind of amazing comeback Arata Yanagi will bring us next?"

"A candle flickering in the wind," "a reversal"?

Oh my god, host, please don't give me any bad luck! Most duelists can't handle this level of jinx!

Guan Bai was internally complaining, but his right hand didn't stop for a moment, and he directly pressed the end of turn button.

My turn is over.

A new round for Yanwu.

"My...turn..."

His voice was weak, and his right hand trembled slightly as he pulled out the card.

A blue light flashed past and reflected in his pupils.

A smile once again curved his lips.

Seeing this expression, Guan Bai knew he was in trouble!

as predicted.

"The card I drew this round is True Flame Burst!"

This is the strongest burst damage point of the Infernal deck!!

With his last bit of strength, Enya Shin put the card into the Duel Disk's slot!

"I activate the Flame Burst. Based on its effect, I can summon as many monsters as possible with 200 DEF in my Graveyard! Monsters summoned by this effect are banished at the end of this turn."

Yanwu pressed the button, and three monster cards popped out of his graveyard.

"Return to my battlefield! Infernal Archer, Infernal Hellhound, Ancient God of Infernal Shall!"

A blinding light shone, followed by a deafening explosion that echoed throughout the arena. Debris flew everywhere, as if the entrance to the underworld had truly been blown open.

The colossal lava god, the demonic crimson hound, and the red-haired archer wielding fire-based weapons have all returned to the new arena of the Flame House!

"Then, I unleash the Hellhound of Inferno, and summon the Hellfire Death Gunner!"

"Activate the effect of the Infernal Death Gunner, removing Infernal Hellhounds from the graveyard and dealing damage equal to the Hellhound's attack power!"

The Death Gunman whistled towards the ground, and the hellhound in the cemetery transformed into a flame, entered the shotgun, and became a scorching bullet.

The gunman pulled the trigger, and a huge fireball shot out. Kanpaku used his Duel Disk to block it with all his might, barely managing to withstand the terrifying temperature.

Even so, he was pushed back nearly three meters!

[Kanpaku LP: 5000 → 3100]

Damn, as expected of a telekinetic duelist, this damage really hurts!

The next attack may not be able to end his life, but if Kanpaku cannot withstand the real impact of the massive damage, he will be defeated even if he still has basic points!

Panting heavily, Guan Bai looked in the direction of Yanwu Xin, where the boy was completely immersed in the duel, roaring passionately.

"Finally, the Infernal Archer's effect releases itself, increasing the ATK of all my Infernal monsters on the field by 800!"

The Infernal Archer transforms his life into firewood and ripples to amplify the flames on other Infernal monsters.

"A stunning comeback! Despite being completely overwhelmed by Kanpaku's immense pressure, the new Yanagi managed to pull off such a remarkable comeback!"

The host roared with tears in his eyes.

The audience also began to cheer for Arata Enya.

"Go!"

Yanwu Xin pointed in the direction of Kanpaku and shouted loudly.

"Battle Phase!"
