Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

"I send Next Generation Turbine from my hand to the Graveyard to activate the Spell Card Twin Tornado."

The first thing Kanpaku needs to do, of course, is to deal with Enya's two new backcourt cards.

"Based on its effect, I can destroy up to two face-down cards on your field! I can remove your entire back row!"

Two whirlwinds burst forth from Kanpaku's fingertips, spiraling and sweeping away the two traps covering the back field of Enya.

A shattered armor plate, a bottomless pitfall.

The attack and summoning traps—the backline is truly well-prepared.

But now we can't stop Kanpaku anymore!

"So simple..."

When Yanwu saw that all his traps had been removed, he couldn't help but be slightly surprised.

But Kanpaku wouldn't give Enya Shin time to adjust his mindset. He continued operating without stopping, opening up his back row.

"Activate the Perpetual Trap to enhance resurrection."

"Based on the effect, I revive the card-drawing frog in my graveyard and its level increases by one star."

"Then I usually summon the next-generation controller!"

A frog mimicking a tongue jumps out of the graveyard, followed closely by a small, brown robot.

Enya Shin made a grand appearance with his Synchro Monster, and Kanpaku naturally had to retaliate by using a Synchro Monster in return!

"I used a level 3 gacha frog and a level 3 next-generation controller to adjust the star level!"

"Water-powered machinery, harnessed by mysterious forces, come to my side and dispel this raging inferno!"

"Synchronization Summon, Next-Generation Hydro-Powered Man!"

As the card-drawing frog crossed the triple star ring, a transparent column of water appeared on the field.

A blue robot, representing gentleness and purity, emerged from the arena, covering the raging flames ignited by the Infernal Demon God from top to bottom, bringing a refreshing feeling back to the dueling ground.

Even the water flow projected by the virtual image still saved Kanpaku's mind from the crisis of overheating.

With his mind clearer and in much better condition, Guan Bai is now settling the results of the frog gacha pull.

"When it is sent from the field to the graveyard, I can draw a card."

"Then comes the battle phase!"

Guan Bai waved his hand.

"Next-generation water powerhouses, crush this fiery demon god! Reassemble the water cannons!"

The water-powered being held his flexible arms in front of his chest, and the surrounding illusory water flow gathered into a water column, which directly punched a hole in the body of the Fiery Demon God.

The scalding water continued its relentless flow, pushing Yanwu Xin back several steps.

[New LP for Yanwu: 4000 → 3800]

"Activate the effect of Next Generation Water Energy Man: When it destroys a monster in battle and sends it to the Graveyard, I recover my original base attack value."

The water-powered beings collect the residual heat from the explosion of enemies and transform it into transparent waves that purify and cleanse them.

[Kanpaku LP: 2800 → 4900]

"Then set a card face down, and the turn ends."

Guan Bai calmly ended his turn.

This calm attitude gave Enya a strong sense of pressure, more so than those guys who liked to mock their opponents.

It was as if such an offensive was commonplace for the Regent.

Just now, Yanwu Xin was standing on the upper hand, but unexpectedly, in just one round, the Kanpaku in front of him destroyed all his advantages.

With the basic points shifting, the situation on both sides has completely reversed.

The audience thoroughly enjoyed this extreme reversal of roles. The host was so excited that his voice cracked.

"As expected of the Kanpaku (chief advisor), he thwarted the attack from the new Enya (fire house) member with a single move and easily established an overwhelming advantage!"

"How will the newly recruited Flame House players, now with the field empty, cope with this unprecedented crisis?"

The surrounding noise filled his ears, but the figure reflected in Yanwu Xin's eyes was only Guan Bai!

It is precisely in crises like these that I am motivated to give it my all!

Yanwu Xin gritted his teeth and encouraged himself as he drew cards from his deck.

"My turn!"

"I summon Infernal Guardian Dragon in Defense Position, then set one card face down, and end my turn."

The card that can change the situation hasn't arrived yet, and until then, Enya Shin must endure all of his opponent's attacks.

Although the Infernal Guardian Dragon is a one-star monster, its 2,000 DEF is enough to stop many lower-level monsters!

He still has hope!

It was Kanpaku's turn to play again.

"My turn, draw a card."

He didn't bother with any nonsense or rambling; he simply slapped the monster in his hand down.

"I usually summon next-generation searchers."

The shaky search robot crawled out of the ground and raised its pair of asymmetrical mechanical arms. It slowly circled, as if responding to the cheers of the audience.

"Next-generation searchers, next-generation hydro-powered beings, launch a joint attack!"

With Guan Bai's command, the water-powered man unleashed a high-pressure water cannon, sending the Flame Prison Guardian Dragon flying and disoriented.

The Water Man's effect activates, and Guan Bai's base score is restored once again.

[Kanpaku LP: 4900 → 5000]

Taking advantage of this opportunity, the next-generation searcher approached Xin Yanwu and struck him hard in the abdomen with its clanging mechanical fist.

The latter was kneeling on the ground, clutching his stomach, clearly having suffered a significant impact.

[New LP for Yanwu: 3800 → 2200]

"Set one more card over the wall, end the turn."

Although the 3300 base score advantage is negligible, at least I have completely dominated the rhythm of the beat interaction.

However, Guan Bai still showed no sign of stage fright on Yan Wuxin's face.

If it were one of his previous opponents, they would have already lost their composure and started yelling!

This person's ability to withstand pressure is comparable to that of some famous duelists.

But the bloodthirsty audience wouldn't care about that; they would only be excited and cheer for the performance of the stronger one!

"Kanpaku, Kanpaku, Kanpaku!!"

Amidst the cheers and shouts of "Kanpaku" (regent), Enya Shin placed his right hand on top of the deck.

Unaffected by anything, his card-drawing skills remained as sharp as ever.

"My turn, draw a card!"

Yanwu Xin looked at the card he had drawn, and a smile finally appeared on his lips.

"I activate the Spell Card, Monster Reborn! I bring the Cerberus from my Graveyard back to my side!"

A blue cross rose from behind Yanwu Xin, casting a bright spot on the ground like blue moonlight.

Flames rose from it, and crimson lava hounds emerged from the underworld, letting out a terrifying roar!

This Enya Shin is going to perform a Synchro Summon again!

He forcefully drew a card from the extra deck and proudly held it up into the air!

"The magma that has roared since ancient times, burns away all enemies with its flames, may the gods descend upon this place!"

"Synchronization Summon: Ancient God of Inferno!"

The embers scattered throughout the dueling arena shone back, drawing a sacrificial array of flames around the area.

The Hellhounds and Hellbow Archers charged into it side by side, transforming into a torrent of raging lava.

The fiery red flames coalesced and took shape, the cooled black rocks became armor, and within them was a humanoid figure made of pure molten lava—the ancient god of the fiery hell!

The intense heat instantly overwhelmed the coolness brought by the water-powered beings, and the flames and water waves collided, creating a large amount of steam on the field.
