Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

Come to the round with Miyakodo.

He held up the card in his hand and shouted out the ace's name.

"My two abominations on the liberation field, summoned by superior!"

"Child of the abyss, who knows all knowledge, descend upon the throne! With your eyes that see into the depths of the soul, crush all my enemies!"

"The Mad Data Collector has arrived!"

The volatile black mist devoured the two avatars of hatred, thereby connecting them to the gate that leads to the abyss!

A bat-like swivel chair rose from below, and the surrounding black "light," as dark as night, gathered and transformed into a sinister and twisted book, which was scooped up in the palm of a demon.

This trump card seems to represent the deepest malice and voyeuristic desire in Lai Gong's heart.

His appearance immediately made Kanpaku feel extremely uncomfortable.

The resentment that Lai Gong had been suppressing in his heart, the frustration he had felt over the past few days while gathering information on the Kanpaku, was finally released when the ace appeared.

Kojiro Torado pointed in the direction of the Regent and shouted loudly.

"Crazy data collector, attack the original warrior of the Valley of Mist!"

The neurotic demon leaped down and rushed in front of the warrior in the blink of an eye with astonishing speed, the pages of the book in his hand about to be imprinted on his face!

Guan Bai took half a step back and opened the card that had been covered.

"Activate a trap card to create a defensive barrier, negate the damage from this battle, and allow me to draw a card."

Golden ripples appeared, shattering the book in the Mad Data Collector's hand into the warrior's body, but the power from the enemy monster's attack was completely absorbed and turned into the energy for Kanpaku's card draw.

Kanpaku drew out a card and calmly looked at Kotori.

This unaffected composure is exactly what Kouji Torado hates and wants to destroy!

"Cover two cards, end turn."

Currently, all of Kanpaku's other counterattacks are still within his expectations.

However, the psychological state that the Kanpaku might experience is a complete mystery to Kurumiya Torado.

Through that calm face, even the Imperial Palace could not discern whether the Regent was pessimistic or optimistic.

The turn of the recluse.

"I activate a field spell, Divine Wind of the Valley of Mist!"

The virtual projection system for the entire dueling arena activated, and amidst the roar, the dueling arena beneath our feet gradually transformed into the appearance of another world.

A corner of DT Star reveals its true face in this world!

Under the azure sky, the audience seats transformed into a blue valley, while the dueling arena was swept by waves of colorful clouds.

The illusory rainbow colors filled every inch of air, transforming into refreshing breaths that made Guan Bai's mind even clearer.

Kanpaku took out a second card from his hand and quickly inserted it into the Duel Disk.

"I usually summon the Thunderbird of the Valley of Mist."

"Activate the effect of the Mist Vulture from my hand to return the Thunderbird of the Valley of Mist to my hand, Special Summon myself, and increase my ATK to 1700!"

Emerald green and indigo alternate, and a magnificent bald eagle flaps its wings, circling above Guan Bai's head.

"Then, I have two effects activated."

"First, the effect of Thunderbird of the Valley of Mist allows it to be Special Summoned when it returns from the field to the hand."

"Secondly, the effect of the Valley of Mist's Divine Wind is once per turn: when I have a WIND monster on my field returned to my hand, this card can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower WIND monster from my Deck!"

"I choose to Special Summon the Valley of Mist Falcon from my deck!"

A golden and red divine wind blew, bringing the brown-winged warrior from the depths of the valley to the side of the Regent.

"I'll upgrade the level 3 Thunderbird from the Valley of Mist and the level 4 Warrior from the Valley of Mist!"

"Descend, Thunder God Demon of the Valley of Mist!"

Thunderbird and warrior soared into the sky, transforming into golden lightning in mid-air. A gigantic phantom appeared, signaling the imminent arrival of the Thunder God Demon of the Valley of Mist in this world!

"Hahaha, at this very moment, I activate the counterattack trap, Disharmony Counterattack (animation)!"

Kouji Torado laughed loudly as he opened the hidden trump card.

"Negate this Synchro Summon, return Mist Valley Thunder Demon to the Extra Deck, and Special Summon one of its materials to the field in Defense Position!"

"This means that you cannot perform a Summon, Flip Summon, or Special Summon until the end of your next turn!"

A crimson light shot into the sky, dispelling the phantom of the Thunder God Demon, which then transformed back into two monsters that landed on the ground!

The host's voice rang out in surprise and excitement.

"That's amazing! Miyakodo precisely grasped the Kanpaku's weakness and delivered a fatal blow!"

"With no way to summon or special summon, how is he supposed to deal with the onslaught from the Imperial Palace? Is the Regent already sliding into defeat?!"

In the stands, everyone who supported Kanpaku held their breath.

As a fellow Synchro deck user, Enya Shin put himself in the position of Kanpaku and unconsciously felt a suffocating pressure.

He clenched his fist and cheered loudly for Guan Bai.

"Senior Regent, please don't lose..."

Allen, no longer bothering to discuss the battle with Yanwu, joined Joel in shouting encouragement to the audience.

"Go for it!! You'll definitely win!!"

"Don't lose to that despicable guy!"

Their voices also rallied the audience who supported Kanpaku, creating a deafening roar.

"Kanpaku, Kanpaku, Kanpaku!!"

These shouts, carried by the divine wind of the Valley of Mist, blew into Kanpaku's heart, giving him a strange sense of satisfaction.

Guan Bai sighed inwardly.

Although the blockade caused by the disharmonious counterattack was a headache for him, it hadn't reached the point of affecting his mindset.

However, his mindset was not shaken by the offensive of the Miyakodo, but was instead roused by the people cheering him on.

Why is this happening?

Even the recluse couldn't understand himself.

But since so many people are cheering me on, I should just give them a smile in return!

Thus, in the eyes of Torado, this detestable opponent was not discouraged by being blocked, but instead gave battle orders with a smile.

"Battle Phase!"

"The Mist Vulture attacks the embodiment of abomination."

The large bird with indigo wings circling above Kanpaku's head instantly revealed its true nature as a bird of prey, and in the blink of an eye, it flew across the center line drawn by the divine wind.

After the battle, Kanpaku smoothly ended his turn.

My turn is over.

Although Kojima Torado was not injured in the battle, he felt that he was being attacked and provoked from another level!

Looking at the repulsive smile on Kanpaku's face, Lai Gong felt a surge of anger rising beneath his feigned indifference.

From the moment he started looking for information on the regent, this person has been constantly creating trouble for himself:

Abruptly changing the deck renders one's psychological warfare tactics ineffective.

And now, they're still smiling even as I launch my attack!

No wonder it was the biggest stumbling block I encountered on my path to success!

We absolutely cannot let you just lose!!

What he wanted from Miyakodo was not simply a victory in the duel; he wanted the Regent's heart to be shattered so that he would never dare to touch the duel board again!

"Your turn is over, now it's my turn to attack!!"
