Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

Koji Torado pointed at Kanpaku's nose and shouted loudly.

"Battle Phase! Mad Data Collector, Attack the Mist Vulture!"

The green-clad demon grinned as it looked at the misty vulture, then, with a fierce crimson light, it jumped off the high-backed chair.

In a flash, the neurotic demon slammed the book in his hand onto the vulture's head. A massive amount of insane knowledge poured in, overwhelming the vulture, causing it to explode completely!

The lingering demonic whispers flew into Kanpaku's ears, tearing at his spirit like a saw.

Seeing that Kanpaku remained as calm as ever, Lai Gong finally understood that only a truly defeated blade could break through the defenses of the person in front of him.

Since that's the case, then I'll let you lose completely!

The turn of the recluse.

The effects of the disharmonious counterattack are still ongoing; he can't even summon monsters now, let alone use the effect of the Divine Wind to increase his field value.

We can only continue to endure it.

Kanpaku has adjusted the card arrangement in the Monster Zone.

"I changed the Falcon of the Valley of Mist to a defensive position."

My turn is over.

Come to the round with Miyakodo.

"Activate the effect of Mad Data Collector, discard the Killer Serpent from your hand, and banish your Valley of Mist Warrior!"

After the warriors of the Valley of Mist disappeared, he pointed at the last monster of the Regent and entered the battle phase with a loud laugh.

"The Mad Data Collector attacks the Falcon of the Valley of Mist!"

The green-clad demon leaped off the chair again, charging towards the monster that had captured Kanpaku like a ferocious beast, and instantly arrived in front of him.

The dark-colored book was printed directly on the top of the falcon's head.

The weight of knowledge strikes again with the weight of books!

Smash the falcon right in!

Having eliminated two of the Kanpaku's monsters in a row, Miyakodo was in an extremely pleasant mood!

He exhaled a breath of stale air and inserted the last card in his hand into the duel disk.

"Face another card face down, end turn."

He looked at the three cards covered up in the backstage area and could barely hide the sinister smile that came from his heart.

Forced disengagement device, disharmonious counterattack.

These two cards can completely shut down any of Kanpaku's struggles!

If Kanpaku performs a Synchro Summon again in the next turn, Disharmony Counter can lock Kanpaku off for another two turns!

If Kanpaku tries to use a combo like Explosive Blaze + Valley of the Clouds' Falcon, then the forced exit device will shatter all his fantasies!

Even if a miracle occurs and Kanpaku breaks through the Mad Data Collector's defenses, his third Monster Resurrection card can revive his trump card!

Lai Gong had no doubt that he would be the one to win.

And Kanpaku will only become that desperate loser!

"My turn, draw a card!"

Without hesitation, Guan Bai pulled out the card, glanced at it, and a smile appeared on his lips.

The Kanpaku's ace team is now complete!

If Komiya Torado failed to finish off himself in that round, then the scales of victory were already destined to tip in favor of the Regent!

He activated a monster effect from his hand.

"I can activate this card by returning the Thunderbird of the Valley of Mist from the field to my hand by activating the effect of Allied Next Generation Birdman in my hand.

"If it is Special Summoned by this effect, it will be banished if it leaves the field."

"And because the monster returned to your hand is a WIND monster, its ATK increases by 500!"

The verdant mecha birdman arrived on the golden rainbow's glow, its light green wings leaving a trail of contrails in the air.

Following that, Guan Baifa activated the field and triggered two effects from the Thunderbird.

"Then, because of the effect of the Thunderbird of the Valley of Mist, I Special Summon it to the field again in Defense Position!"

"Demonic Wind of the Valley of Mist effect: I Special Summon one Valley of Mist Prayer from my Deck!"

A divine wind whipped up swirling clouds, forming a constantly rotating storm cloud in the sky. A deafening clap of thunder followed, and a golden-haired prayer bearer and azure birds descended from the heavens.

Now, all the conditions have been met!

"Good heavens! After breaking free from the barrier of the Disharmonious Counterattack, Kanpaku has once again gathered three monsters on the field!"

"Next, the Kanpaku's ace monster is about to make its reappearance! Who knows which side the scales of victory will tip in this time?!"

The host's shouts echoed throughout the venue, and the audience's cheers for Kanpaku and Raimiya were like a tsunami.

Kouji Torado stared intently at Kanpaku's hands, inwardly mockingly awaiting the summons of Raijinki.

Synchro Summon!

That way, I can completely plunge you into the abyss!

Victory is mine, and I will utterly crush you!

"You're waiting for my Synchro Summon, aren't you? And your back row is covered by Disharmony Counters again, isn't it?"

Kanpaku's voice abruptly interrupted Komiya Torado's thoughts, revealing his deepest thoughts in one sentence!

"What?!"

He instinctively asked a shocked question, then immediately felt annoyed at his own loss of composure.

Lai Gonghu Hall was surprised that the Regent had seen through his plan so easily. But so what? Did the Regent have any other way to break through his trap?

Therefore, he immediately grinned and shouted.

"So what if you know? Do you really think you can defeat my Mad Data Collector without performing a Synchro Summon?!"

"Admit it! Despair! Defeat is the only path awaiting you!"

"Really? That's not necessarily true."

Guan Bai smiled and waved his finger, then pointed at Lai Gong and shouted.

"I still have a Normal Summon I haven't used this turn."

"Normal Summon? What could you possibly summon to break through my absolute blockade?!"

Koji Torado looked at the forced exit device in his back area.

If the Kanpaku's superior successfully summons him, Miyakodo will open this trap, bringing Kanpaku true despair!

Kanpaku realized what Kodo was thinking, but he didn't care.

Because once his ultimate trump card is revealed, all of Miyakodo's arrangements will be rendered useless and can be destroyed with a flick of his finger!

He sent the two monsters on the field to the graveyard, and then raised the ace he had been holding all along!

"I will offer the Prayer of the Valley of Dawn and the Allied Next-Generation Birdman Soldiers as sacrifices!"

"O divine bird that breathes forth the winds of dawn, with your wings of dawn capable of severing everything, cut down your enemies and bring me victory!"

"Summoning from above, the Giant Bird of the Valley of Mist!"

A pair of enormous wings emitting a faint golden light stirred up a storm, and a golden divine bird that blotted out the sun fell from the sky, blocking out the sunlight above the virtual arena.

The long, deep cry from the abyss spread out with immense power, causing the entire Valley of Dawn to tremble and shake!
