Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

At the other end of the dueling arena.

Looking at Samejima Kaguri's hesitant expression, Alan suddenly felt a surge of anger and frustration.

This won't do...

What's the point of defeating such an opponent?

Allen's goal is to keep up with Kanpaku's pace, but defeating a guy with no fighting spirit won't allow him to advance even one step on the path of a duelist!

Thinking this way, Allen's tone carried an intention of encouragement.

Half of his words were still the habitual mockery of an opponent, while the other half turned into the expectations of a duelist.

"Hey, you can't possibly not even be able to draw a card? You must be a really good duelist!"

He no longer cared whether this would awaken Samejima Kawami and cause him to lose the battle.

Since you're duelists, go all out and draw your cards like crazy!!

Allen's words struck Samejima's mind like a bullet.

Yeah, at least I'm still a duelist!

Before thinking about how to revitalize the dojo, we need to finish this duel first!

My willpower has become a little more active, and my arms can at least understand the brain's commands again.

"My turn, draw a card!!"

Samejima Kawuri used all his strength to complete his final card draw in this duel.

A flash of emerald light, and a magic card appeared in his palm.

Samejima opened his eyes and looked at the card he had drawn.

It's a combination of forces!

The deck... is this your response to me?

Even though I brought this fusion card the shame of defeat last time, would it still be willing to be driven by me?

Samejima Kawuri felt the electricity flowing continuously into his body from the card.

Take a deep breath.

With our combined strength, I will not let you down.

It's about to start!

"I activate a trap card to enhance Resurrection!"

"I have resurrected a Primal Cyber Dragon in the graveyard. Its level has increased by one, and its attack and defense have increased by 100!"

A red light burst open the passage to the underworld, and a dim, silvery-white machine rushed out, bringing blue and white arcs of electricity back to reality!

【Electronic Dragon】(Original Electronic Dragon)

【Effect】

[Mechanical/Optical]

[Samsung → Four-star] 1100/600 → 1200/700

"Then, normally summon Cyber Dragon II!"

The mechanical dragon crawled out of the light, its silvery-white metal wrapped in green electricity, forming the body of the Electronic Dragon II segment by segment.

【Electron Dragon II】

【Effect】

[Mechanical/Optical]

[Four-star] 1500/1000

"I activate the effect of CyberDragon II, combining the power in my hand and revealing it to my opponent, so that it can be used as CyberDragon this turn!"

[Electron Dragon II → Electro Dragon]

Everything is ready; now it's time to merge!

"Finally, I activate the Fusion Spell Card, power combined!"

Samejima Kawaki raised the last card in his hand high.

With our combined strength, since you're willing to work with me to reverse the outcome, let me bring you victory once again!

"Merge the two Cyber Dragons on the field! Fusion Summon! Cyber Twin Dragons!!"

The sound of metal welding rang out, as if a mechanical factory in the void was operating at full speed, producing unprecedented mechanical monsters.

The dimensional gate of lightning opened, and a two-headed mechanical dragon emerged from the light, with blue and white lightning overloaded to the limit raging across the field!

【Electronic Twin Dragons】

【Effect】

[Mechanical/Optical]

[Eight Stars] 2800/2200 → 5600/2200

"A stunning comeback!! Despite Allen pushing his base score to its limit, Samejima managed to summon the Cyber Twin Dragons with an attack power of 5600!!"

"This is the successor of the Electro Stream, an absolute expert in the realm of combat!!"

The host, with tears in his eyes, gave a loud explanation.

Samejima Kawuri gave Allen a deep look, exhaled a breath of stale air, and then suddenly waved his hand.

"Battle Phase!"

"Cyber Twin Dragons, unleash your power and sweep across the battlefield! Evolve Double Flash!"

The two-headed mechanical dragon spewed terrifying flames from its enormous mouth, spiraling and coiling into an absolute electric storm!

Allen quickly activated the trap card.

"Activate the protective barrier! Negate this battle damage, and let me draw a card!"

A green wave appeared, halting the raging storm of light and extracting its energy, thus granting Allen the right to draw cards again.

Unfortunately, Samejima River's relentless attacks would not stop there.

"Second battle!! Cyber Twin Dragons attack Scrap Beast, evolved Crossfire!!"

But this time, there was no longer any trap in front of Allen, and he could only watch helplessly as the roaring white light descended from the sky!

A spiraling storm of light descended upon Allen, a calamity capable of destroying any monster!

With a deafening roar, Alan's monster was reduced to ashes by the storm.

[Alan Green's LP: 2100 → 0]

The outcome is decided!

"I hereby announce that the third place winner of this underground tournament is Samejima Kawakuri!!"

"Please go backstage to rest. After a short performance, the awards ceremony will begin!"

The light faded, and the virtual imaging equipment shut down.

Allen sat there, panting heavily, inwardly mocking his own contradictions.

Despite wanting a fair and square duel with his opponent, he was now frustrated by being defeated by the exhilarated Samejima.

A hand reached into Allen's line of sight. Allen looked up and saw Samejima Kawuri's face.

"Thank you, you've taught me a lot."

Grasping Samejima's hand, Alan nimbly got up from the ground.

"I'll teach you something? Really?"

How could a duelist as powerful as you possibly learn anything from someone as insignificant as yourself?

Samejima Kawami nodded.

"You taught me what the will of a duelist is."

Although still confused about his own and Electroflow's future, Samejima Kaguri has at least come to understand one thing.

That is, no matter what happens, a duelist should at least give it his all to complete the duel!

This has nothing to do with anything else, but is about respect for the opponent and the duel!

This is also the most fundamental and profound meaning of electron flow!

Looking at Samejima Kawaki's serious expression, Allen suddenly felt the knot in his heart caused by the defeat melt away.

Although he did not win the duel, he did not come away empty-handed.

He inspired another duelist who was in despair with his words.

Using duels to bring hope to people...

This must be the duelist spirit that those legendary duelists uphold!

Allen chuckled.

"Ha! Next duel, I'll give it my all to win! Get ready for my revenge duel!"

Samejima Kawami nodded.

"I will. I will no longer run away from duels."

He also has a revenge duel to fight.

Although not now, once he has completely overcome the confusion in his heart, he will find that guy and then have a fair and square duel!

Samejima Kawatsuki looked up and saw Kanpaku watching the game from the VIP area.

Kanpaku had already turned around, so all Samejima could see was his back.

He made a vow in his heart.

Get ready for my challenge!
