Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

Guan Baifa activated the monster effect in the graveyard.

"Activate the effect of the Great Sun Cube that returns to my graveyard."

"If it is sent to the Graveyard by Synchro Summoning a LIGHT monster, I can activate this effect: I can add one Equip Spell Card from my Deck to my hand!"

Kanpaku pulled out his deck, selected an equipment card from it, and showed it to his friend.

"What I chose to add to my hand is the power of the Archmage!"

"Hmph, it's just a death throes. Even if you have tons of magic, what can you do without a next round!"

Waiyouji became so excited that his face contorted into a ferocious expression; his already rugged face was now covered in bulging veins.

"Activate the effects of Space City Golga."

"Target the face-up Spell and Trap Cards on the field and return them to my hand, so that I can..."

Guan Bai interrupted Wai Yuki's smile with his actions.

"Activate the perpetual trap, Demon Chains!"

"Target your space city Golga, rendering it unable to attack and nullifying its effects!"

The trap is set, and the flowing darkness in the card art resembles an abyss inhabited by demons.

Countless chains snaked upwards, tightly binding the enormous city of demonic insects in the sky!

The strongest monster is locked down by Kanpaku, and now only three monsters can attack from outside!

"whispering sound……"

Waiyou spat and roared furiously.

Even so, I'm still enough to kill you!

He pointed sharply with his left hand.

"Battle Phase!"

"Lightning Warrior, direct attack on Duel Killer!"

With a leap of his left foot, the Lightning Warrior transformed into a bolt of golden lightning and instantly appeared before Guan Bai, ready to unleash a powerful punch!

Ha, attacking with the monster with the highest attack power first is not a good habit!

Guan Bai sneered and directly flipped open the cover.

"Activate the Trap Card to create a defensive barrier!"

"Neglect this battle damage and let me draw a card!"

A ripple-like clear light enveloped Guan Bai, absorbing the thunderbolts that were almost within reach and turning them back into his power!

If two attacks fail, the chance of a kill this round is already slim!

Reality slapped Wai Youji across the face, making him so angry he almost couldn't catch his breath.

How could someone as strong as him encounter such a setback?

"I also have alien warriors attacking!"

The first two big monsters have already stepped into the pit.

This time, the alien warriors' attack finally reached Kanpaku!

It raised the blade in its hand and slashed horizontally at Kanpaku!

The blade sliced through the air, leaving a lingering echo, and struck Kanpaku's dueling disk, sending him flying back ten meters!

On the ground, two charred marks testified to the ferocity of the attack.

[Kanpaku LP: 4000 → 2100]

Guan Bai felt like his left arm, which was used to defend himself, was going to be ruined!

This external achievement definitely amplifies the output of mental duel power!

Meanwhile, Wai Yuki, seeing the dueling assassin still standing straight, had nowhere to vent his anger.

But he wasn't completely blinded by anger.

"Main Phase Two: Convert Level Warrior to Defense, Set one card, End Turn."

It's time for Kanpaku's turn again.

"Gacha pull!!"

A flash of green light appeared, and the manipulated brain in the card appeared before Kanpaku's eyes.

It is a change of heart.

"hehe……"

The low laughter reached Wai Youji's ears, causing him to frown.

"What are you laughing at?"

Instead of answering directly, Kanpaku activated the magic card.

A truly outstanding person is always admired by others!

Use your monster to bring me the signal of victory!

"Activate the Spell Card, Mind Change! Target your Cosmic Castle Golga on your field, and gain control of it until the end of this turn!"

"What?!"

The foreign friend was greatly surprised and lost his composure.

"But Golga is bound by your demonic chains and cannot attack at all. Your choice is just a futile struggle!"

"Yeah?"

After uttering a brief rhetorical question, Kanpaku ignored him.

"Normal Summoning: Great Sun Prism Pillar!"

"I'll use the level five cosmic city of Golgar, along with the four-star Grand Sun prism, to adjust the stars!"

5 + 4 = 9!

"O blazing wings that stretch to the heavens, descend with your severing crimson light, dispel the evil that corrupts the earth, holy presence be upon us!"

"Synchronization Summon, Alpha Sun!"

A crimson pillar of light rose from the ground, elevating the sky-covering insect fortress inch by inch, transforming it into three blazing rings that encircled the night sky!

A mechanical seraphim carrying the Holy Triangle appeared out of thin air, just like a saint in mythology who judges on behalf of God.

"When Alpha Sun's effect is activated and a Synchro Summon is successfully completed, you can choose one Equip Spellbook from your Graveyard!"

Kanpaku pressed the buttons for the Monster Zone and Graveyard in quick succession, and the Duel Disk calculated the chain sequence.

"Then it will chain together, activating the effect of the Great Sun Ridge Pillar!"

"If this card is sent from the Monster Zone to the Graveyard, pay 500 Life Points to equip it to one of my monsters!"

Chain processing leads to the latecomer's arrival and the early arrival of the first.

[Kanpaku LP: 2100 → 1600]

The great prism transformed into a rainbow-like halo, rotating and crowning Alpha atop it.

Then, Alpha shared this dazzling light with the battlefield at night, guiding the rise of the Sun Components amidst the radiance!

"The equipment I chose to equip is the Great Sun Components."

"The effect of the Great Sun Component: Equipping the monster grants it the ability to perform piercing attacks."

"Finally, I'll equip Alpha Sun with the fragments of the Great Sun and the power of the Archmage!"

"The effect of Magister's Power increases the attack and defense of your Spell and Trap Cards by 500."

"I have four spell and trap cards on the field, therefore, Alpha Sun's attack and defense increase by 2000!"

Alpha Grand Day

[Nine Stars] 2200/1100→4200/3100

This is the trump card of the Great Sun!

Guan Bai suddenly waved his hand, pointing at the level warrior.

"Alpha Sun, Attack-Level Warrior!"

The trap that previously seized control has now turned into its Achilles' heel!

In his shock, Gaiyuki activated the last card he could use in this duel.

"Activate Trap Card, Cell Blast! When a monster with an A-counter declares an attack, destroy that monster!"

The purple mist condensed and transformed into terrifying toxic smoke from a series of explosions.

The mushroom cloud shot straight towards Alpha's body, momentarily obscuring the holy light it emitted!

However, when the smoke cleared, the scale-like mechanical angel remained, as if nothing could taint its holiness.

"Why, why isn't Alpha Sun destroyed?!"

His comrade-in-arms, feeling unbalanced, questioned Guan Bai.

"Useless, a waste of effort!"

"The Alpha Sun, equipped with magical abilities, cannot be destroyed by the effects of magic or traps!"

"Then, the effect of the Great Sun Pillar is that the attack power of the monster equipped with it increases by 1000 in the damage step."

[Nine Stars] 4200/3100→5200/3100

"Celestial Judgment!!"

Alpha Sun lowered its white mechanical wings, and crimson heavenly fire fell from its palm, transforming into light that devoured everything!

The monster on the field melted away like a candle, and even he himself became a tiny black shadow in the judgment.

[External Partner Performance: 3500 → 0]

Even his screams were swallowed up; he was sent flying backward, smashing through the barbed wire fence, unable to get up again.
