Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

"Activating the Transformer: Cell Phone effect will change depending on the attack and defense positions."

Longya loudly explained the effects of the Transformers.

Clearly, he found the idea of "the commentator dying" to be strangely cool and a bit childish.

"It can dial numbers from 1 to 6, and then reveal the cards from the top of the deck according to the dialed number."

"Special Summon one Level 4 or lower Transformer Monster from your Deck, and return the remaining cards to your Deck!"

The dial on the chest of the Transformer Mobile Phone begins to flash rapidly, with the number keys 1 through 6 alternating between light and shadow. Finally, the highlight stops on the number four.

Longya jumped up excitedly, almost losing his balance due to the Duel Disk in his left hand.

Dragon can complain from the side.

"If you're going to duel, then duel properly. Stop making such a racket!"

"Hey, Dragon, don't make a fuss! This is the crucial moment of the duel!"

Long Ya curled his lip in indifference at Long Ke's sabotage.

He took a lunge stance and swiped out four cards with his right hand.

He unfolded it and became even more radiant.

"Great, I found it!!"

"I Special Summon in Defense Position, Transformer MagnetU!"

The blue magnets levitated and transformed with a clang into blue-painted robotic warriors.

Long Ya rubbed his nose and then casually slapped the card down.

"Set one card face down, end turn."

"Now it's your turn!"

Longa was somewhat smug; he was clearly satisfied with the start of the duel.

Looking at the children in front of him, Guan Bai felt that his mindset had become much younger.

"My turn, draw a card."

He glanced at his hand, then looked at Long Ya's table.

Dragonia uses the Shapeshifter Fighter deck.

Kanpaku really didn't know much about the early builds of this deck.

Although this is the main deck of the Dragonia in the anime, the writers didn't post the deck online, did they?

All I know about Kanpaku is that there's a famous phone number called FTK.

But that happened after the Transformers released their buff cards.

Kanpaku himself hadn't really played this deck much, but that didn't stop him from playing against it a few times in Card Power.

So he recognized the effects of at least a few of the monsters.

With that in mind, he slapped a card onto the field.

"I usually summon the Dragoon Regiment - Little Javelin Dragon".

"Activate its effect to Special Summon Dragoon Soldier from your hand and equip it to the Soldier."

"Then activate the soldier's effect to Special Summon the Small Javelin Dragon that is equipped with it."

A silver blade sliced through the air, and a female warrior with fluttering blue butterfly wings fell from the sky.

She made a swirl in the air beside her, and a spatial portal opened, from which the crimson silver spear dragon emerged like a swimming fish.

Guan Bai pointed his right hand towards the sky.

"I'll use a level four Dragon Rider Soldier, plus a level two Javelin Dragon to summon a Star!"

"Wow, it's a Synchro Summon!!"

The introduction of Synchro Summoning further fueled Dragonia's enthusiasm.

"Synchronized Summon, Dragon Rider Knight - Thunder Lancer Dragon Knight!"

The little javelin dragon transformed into two cyan halos in the air, and the dragon rider soldiers flapped their wings, passing through them and transforming into a streak of cyan lightning!

Crimson lightning descended from the sky, revealing a sharp spear and a dragon's shadow within it.

The crimson dragon knight flew behind Kanpaku, looking down at the monsters of Ryua.

Hearing the roar of the crimson dragon, Long Ya felt both terrified and incredibly excited!

"Wow!! It's a dragon monster! It's a dragon-type Synchro Monster!!"

He shouted excitedly, his voice filled with amazement.

Nothing excites duelists more than dragon monsters!

Guan Bai waved his left hand, commanding the Thunder Spear Dragon Knight to activate its effect.

"Activate the second effect of Thunder Lance Dragon Knight".

"First, upon successful Synchro Summon, it can equip a Small Javelin Dragon from the Graveyard."

"Then, send the Little Javelin Dragon to the Graveyard; until the end of the turn, this card's ATK becomes double!"

"Attack power 3800?!"

Longya stared wide-eyed at the monster that Kanpaku had created.

This attack power has surpassed that of the King's Crimson Dragon!

However, before he could react, the phantom of the little javelin dragon emerged from the ground.

Guan Bai pointed to Longya's backcourt.

"If the Small Javelin Dragon's effect is sent to the Graveyard as an Equip Card, destroy one card on your field."

"I choose to destroy your backcourt!"

Longya chuckled and flipped the card over.

"Hehe, you fell for it! Activate the trap card, Gravity Release!"

"This card's effect can change the battle position of all face-up monsters on the field!"

The green ripples spread rapidly, rolling across the entire area like ocean waves.

The sudden change in gravity forced all the monsters to change their posture.

Even though the Thunder Spear Dragon Knight has 3800 attack power, it can only switch to defensive stance under the influence of this power.

Long Ya looked up at the sky and grinned smugly.

Looking at the grinning child in front of him, Guan Bai was in a pretty good mood.

Compared to those duelists who like to trash talk and look down on others, these innocent little kids are much more endearing.

With that thought in mind, he inserted a card into the duel disk.

"I set two cards face down. End of turn."

It was Ryuja's turn again, and he proudly drew a card from his deck.

"My turn!!"

He spun the cards on the Duel Disk, then pointed at his monster.

"Transform the Transformer Cell Phone into attack position, and then activate its effect."

"The number I dialed is... three!"

Longa flipped over the top three cards of the deck and examined them one by one.

"Haha, just as expected, there's a shapeshifting monster!"

"Alright, here I come! I'm summoning Transformer MagnetU in Defense Position!!"

"Change the other Magnet U to Defense position!"

The sealing formation that Longya envisioned has been completed!

His desire to explain was higher than ever before!

Ryuya held up the Duel Disk and introduced it to Kanpaku.

"When Magnet U is in Defense Position, it has the effect that prevents your opponent from attacking other monsters on the field."

"And when two magnets (U) are on the field, their effects will protect each other!"

"That's it, your attack is now blocked!"

The two magnets were restored to their original U-shaped form.

Their poles emitted golden electric light, connecting together to form a blockade electric grid that blocked Guan Bai's attack.

Now, even if the Thunder Spear Dragon Knight resumes its attack stance, it can no longer penetrate the defenses.
