Marvel: Starting with the forced creation of villainous characters

Chapter 36: Mark: Please tell me, how can I make you my dog?

"The car thieves in Hell's Kitchen have run into you guys; they've met their match," Mark thought to himself.

What car thief could resist such temptation? This is a Ducati 1199 Panigale!

"Moreover, this car has special devices inside, so ordinary thieves can't start it," Mindy added from the side.

Hammerhead's headquarters is an underground casino disguised as a social club. The three men look at the high-rise building in front of them with different thoughts.

Mindy: "We caught a big fish today."

Mark: "This is definitely a big fish."

Jessica Jones: "Is Mark able to handle such a big fish?"

Jessica Jones instructed, "Mindy, you're in charge of those thugs. Mark and I are going to the boss's office to find Hammerhead."

Mindy nodded. She didn't look down on the task of clearing out mobs. For Mindy, as long as it involved fighting criminals (meaning physical elimination), she was willing to do it, regardless of the enemy's status.

"Be careful," Mindy said, drawing her katana before storming into the underground casino.

With Mindy drawing her attention, Jessica Jones turned to Mark and said, "Come with me."

Mark nodded, but before he could say anything more, Jessica Jones hugged him tightly.

"Boom!"

Jessica Jones jumped straight up, carrying Mark to the roof of the club.

Hammerhead's headquarters is actually quite large; the nearly 30-story building alone is worth a lot of money.

After jumping to the rooftop, Jessica Jones sneered, "Hammerhead's office should be on the roof. These gangsters like to put their offices on the top floor, saying that only by standing on the top floor can they overlook the whole of Hell's Kitchen."

After Jessica Jones finished speaking, she put Mark down and then kicked open the locked rooftop door.

Jessica Jones stretched her arms and said, "Stay away from me as much as possible. I'll go down and deal with those extras for you."

Mark nodded.

He only brought a pistol with him. Although he had been training frequently these past few days, as an adult, the most important thing is to have self-awareness.

Mark is very clear about his current position. He doesn't have any extraordinary power; the only thing he can boast about is his villainous aura.

This also means that before he gains superpowers, he can only honestly be a "high-IQ" type of villain.

Standing on the rooftop, Mark listened quietly to the gunshots coming from below and the occasional tremors beneath his feet.

The gunshots likely indicate that Mindy's side has encountered Hammerhead's main force, while the tremors underfoot are probably Jessica Jones doing demolition work.

"Hopefully she won't smash the load-bearing wall," Mark prayed silently, then took a piece of chewing gum from his pocket and popped it into his mouth.

Mark walked slowly down the street, hands in his pockets, chewing gum.

Mark appeared nonchalant, but his eyes were keenly observing his surroundings. He was also afraid that some extras were deliberately feigning death and then secretly shooting him.

After exiting the stairs, Mark saw a tall black man with a hole in his chest.

Mark commented on the scene, "This is reality. Being sent flying by a punch is just not scientific. This is what reality should be like."

Jessica Jones clearly took Mark's concerns into account, so she was extremely ruthless, leaving almost no survivors.

If someone's chest is punched straight through, they'd die even if their heart was on the sole of their foot, let alone if it were on the left side.

Mark felt that Jessica Jones had gone easy on him, since none of the bodies on the ground had their heads smashed open.

Of course, it's also possible that because he was there, Jessica Jones didn't want to make the scene too bloody.

Mark quickly arrived at Hammerhead's office, where Jessica Jones had already broken Hammerhead's limbs.

Considering that Mark might still need to use this person for his own purposes, Jessica Jones acted with restraint, only breaking the man's limbs.

Hammerhead, now unable to resist, stopped fighting, because he had guessed that the person behind the scenes was not there to kill him.

Hammerhead, his limbs broken, calmly asked, "I've never seen such a perfect and outstanding enhanced human as you. Who exactly is your master?"

The aloof Jessica Jones simply placed her right foot on his back and did not answer his question.

A short while later, a light footstep sound came from afar.

Hammerhead knew that the person behind the scenes was coming.

"Come on! Let me see who I, Hammerhead, have fallen to." Hammerhead stared intently at the doorway, his heart filled with resentment.

Upon seeing the newcomer's appearance, Hammerhead's pupils contracted, and he blurted out, "How is that possible?"

He stared at Mark in disbelief, his eyes filled with shock. He couldn't accept the outcome; he had actually been defeated by a dwarf.

Hammerhead demanded, "Are you the owner of this enhanced human?"

Upon hearing this, Mark retorted, "A boosted human? What makes you think he's a boosted human, and not a mutant?"

"Pah!" He spat out a mouthful of blood and said angrily, "Because I have a mutant alarm here, but it didn't go off."

"Okay." Mark nodded, accepting the other party's statement.

Mark pulled up a chair and sat down, then asked, "Dead or alive?"

Hearing this, Hammerhead breathed a sigh of relief. Since things had come to this point, it was the best possible outcome since the other party hadn't come to take his life.

"I want to live, are you willing to give me a chance?" Hammerhead's tone was still somewhat arrogant, but Mark didn't care.

"I want you to work for me, but I'm afraid you'll betray me afterwards, so you have to give me an idea so I can trust you, or at least feel that you wouldn't dare to betray me."

Mark adopted an attitude that said, "I've given you the opportunity; now it's up to you to seize it."

Hammerhead: "..."

"Damn dwarf!" Hammerhead cursed through gritted teeth. He felt that Mark was humiliating him, but he had no choice but to play along.

To survive, Hammerhead's brain raced.

As for the backbone of a mob boss, let alone him hammering his head here today, even Kingpin would not hesitate to beg for his life in such a situation, instead of showing the so-called integrity and fearlessness of a mob boss.

People come into this world for money and power. These things only have meaning while you're alive. Once you're dead, no amount of money or power matters.

In order to save his life, Hammerhead shouted, "I have an account book here that records my personal relationships with some high-ranking government officials, evidence of embezzling funds from the Maggie Gang, and evidence of my drug smuggling and human and organ trafficking."

"Normally, as long as you have this ledger, I can only listen to you, because if you give this ledger to the government, I will have to spend my whole life in prison. If you give this ledger to other families in the Maggie gang, they will not let me off the hook either."

Mark slowly extended his finger and said expressionlessly, "First, how can we verify the authenticity of the ledger? Second, I heard you have a younger sister."

Hammerhead's eyes instantly turned red when he heard Mark threaten him with his sister.
