The Wizard: Starting with Infinite Part-Time Jobs

Chapter 48 It Was You All Along, Your Methods

After all, in his eyes, there was no one in the garden except him, but the bio-radar showed that there was clearly someone there.

"No, I have to get rid of this guy or kill him, otherwise he might use my killing of Haske to threaten me." Aiden gritted his teeth, his hands unconsciously clenching into fists as he thought to himself.

He was unwilling to kill innocent people indiscriminately, but for his own safety, there was no need to be indecisive!

Aiden's hand slowly reached for the bow and arrow at his waist, his movements cautious.

When drawing a bow and nocking an arrow, the muscles in his arms bulge high with effort, and the veins stand out like earthworms.

He turned around and aimed his bow and arrow at the light spot in the corner.

Although it was pitch black there, it was obvious that no one could hide there.

Unless that person is only the height of a child.

Just as Aiden was about to loosen his grip and test the waters, something incredible happened before his eyes.

The tall and slender Galatea slowly walked out from the corner, her skirt fluttering gently in the breeze.

He then put his finger to his lips in a shushing gesture, signaling Aiden to be quiet.

Aiden's mouth gaped open, his eyes wide as saucers, staring at her with an incredulous expression.

"What the hell? How did Galatea crawl out from the corner?" Aiden thought to himself, feeling a sense of foreboding.

Galatea's figure clearly appeared on his bio-radar, which meant that the faint, indistinct light spot that had appeared earlier was Galatea.

Galatea quickly walked up to Aiden, stood on tiptoe, and whispered in his ear, "Just pretend I don't exist."

Aiden gave a wry smile and nodded.

He then raised the arrow, strained his arm, and tried to shoot Haske dead in bed through the window.

However, the window was at a bad angle, and Haske's bed was right in a blind spot, so the arrows couldn't hit it at all.

Aiden frowned, a helpless look on his face. He turned back and shook his head at Galatea, signaling her to hide.

He then put on the mask, walked to Haske's cabin, and gently knocked on the door.

"Damn it, who is it?" Haske's impatient voice came from inside the room, accompanied by the noise of tables and chairs being moved.

"Your Highness, the matter has been settled," Aiden said in a low, indistinct voice.

"Oh, it's you guys? We finally dealt with that annoying kid from earlier in the day. He was so arrogant, this was a lesson for him!" Haske's voice came from inside the house, sounding quite excited, accompanied by a smug laugh.

Haske is clearly in high spirits and has no intention of opening the door.

Helpless, Aiden knocked on the door again, making a loud "bang bang bang" sound, and said, "Your Highness, I have some things I want to discuss with you in person."

"You'd better really have something to say," Haske's impatient voice came from inside the house.

Then, with a creak, the wooden door slowly opened.

Aiden had removed his mask and was looking at Prince Haske, who was staring at him with a horrified expression.

A cold smile curled at the corner of his lips. Without hesitation, he aimed the bow and arrow at his heart, released his fingers, and the arrow shot out like lightning.

"You...you...how is this possible?" Haske hadn't finished speaking when an arrow struck his heart, and he was pinned to the ground as if hit by a heavy hammer. He lay convulsing in a pool of blood, which splattered everywhere.

Looking at Prince Haske, who was spitting blood, Aiden gently shook his head and calmly said, "You did the first thing, I'll do the fifteenth. Prince Haske, goodbye."

After saying that, Aiden took another arrow from his quiver, nocked it on his bow, and pulled hard with his arm.

He then fired an arrow, which struck Haske squarely in the throat, the powerful impact breaking his spine.

Prince Haske has died!

His little brother twitched twice in frustration before collapsing completely.

Aiden glanced at it and spat on the ground.

Mini gadgets!

On the bed in Haske's room, a witch was trembling.

She gripped the blanket tightly with both hands, curled up into a ball, and used the blanket to cover herself. The bloody scene from before was completely etched in her mind.

She also remembered Aiden's appearance—a slightly handsome face with brown hair.

Aiden looked at the witch, his brows furrowed, and a conflicted expression appeared on his face.

"trouble."

Before he could speak, the witch said, "I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything, please let me go."

Her voice was choked with sobs, and her body trembled like a leaf.

"Can I trust you? You went to Haske's bed, you're just like him," Aiden said after thinking for a moment, crossing his arms and looking doubtful.

"You can believe me, I'm innocent." The witch's face turned pale with fright, and she quickly explained, waving her hands frantically.

Just then, a magic arrow of no attribute shot in from outside the door and pierced the witch's forehead.

The witch's body jolted violently, and then she collapsed.

"Only the dead can't speak." Galatea's voice came from outside the door, her voice as cold as the wind.
