Chapter 109 Explosives Laboratory

"The machinery here is more advanced than that of the Woolwich Arsenal," he said, pointing to the row of modules on the tracks. "What are those modules for?"
Richard chuckled, "That's for another master like yourself."
He turned to the side and waved towards the depths of the workshop: "Your laboratory is here."
The three men walked into the shipyard, where Abel's laboratory was located in a secluded corner, nearly a hundred meters away from the hydraulic press and steam hammer.
A brass plaque reads: Explosives Laboratory, No Unauthorized Entry.
The reason it is so far from the forging workshop is that after the vibrations there are absorbed by the top 100 meters of soil and rock, the remaining low-frequency vibrations can be easily isolated by the gaps left between the walls.

The outer wall of the interlayer is equipped with thermometers and water control valves, which can precisely control the temperature of the water bath.
Abel looked down at it, a feeling that was both familiar and strange welling up inside him.
"What is this?" he asked.
"This is a water bath temperature-controlled mixer." Richard came to his side. "To be honest, you were the one who inspired me. Your gunpowder stability testing device, which observes the changes in gunpowder at different temperatures by varying the temperature of the water, is very enlightening."

Richard hesitated, glancing at Reginald, and the two exchanged a glance.
