Shocking! This student is phenomenal!

After a while.

The faculty and students of Shanghai Jiao Tong University slowly recovered from their initial shock.

"I can't believe it. Has Tsinghua University's mathematics department fallen to this level? They've brought in someone from the humanities department as a teacher?!"

"Yeah, right! What the hell is this?! It's already rare for people from the humanities department to audit classes, but to become professors directly is unheard of!"

"I feel deeply ashamed. This must be exposed! Let all the high school seniors aiming for Tsinghua University see how irresponsible their top university is in its teaching!"

Mei Wenhua was so angry that her body trembled slightly.

She never imagined that Tsinghua University would have gone to such a disastrous state this year.

Although she was determined to surpass Wu Hongji, when she came to exchange ideas in the past, Mei Wenhua would point out and criticize the teachers' teaching methods on the spot, making the teachers very embarrassed.

However, when Mei Wenhua saw that Tsinghua University didn't care about students' teaching at all and just casually called people to class, she was shocked.

She was furious.

"I'm going to talk to your principal! How could something like this happen in China, especially at one of our top universities!"

"I'm going to document this whole thing and expose it to the media! So that all universities can learn from this."

Mei Wenhua's voice became much sharper due to her excitement, and her face became somewhat ferocious.

Su Jiang was completely bewildered by these words.

Holy crap, is this guy crazy?

What does my class have to do with her?

If Wu Hongji hadn't begged me to help her with the class, I wouldn't have wanted to come to class at all, okay?

He could totally go shopping with Lin Wanqing, eat and drink, and hug and cuddle.

Thinking of this, Su Jiang's attitude immediately hardened: "Take it or leave it. If you want to go, then sit down and shut up. If you don't want to go, then get out!"

"Teacher Wu's responsibility to me is to teach the students of Huaqing University well. I've already been very lenient by not asking you for fees, yet you're still yelling at me in class?"

Mei Wenhua was completely stunned.

This was the first time since she became a teacher that someone had spoken so harshly to her.

The students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University were utterly shocked.

[Congratulations, host! You have gained 106 Shock Points! Total Shock Points: 5176]

The system immediately activated in Su Jiang's mind.

The students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in the audience erupted in excitement:

"Holy crap, this is the first time I've ever seen someone talk back to Professor Mei. Wow, he's a real tough guy."

"Wow, so cool! So awesome! I love it! I love it!" A girl exclaimed in her heart while drawing a heart on her notebook with her pen.

"Now it depends on how Professor Mei handles this. I have a feeling things won't end well."

After a while, everyone's attention shifted from Su Jiang to Mei Wenhua.

I want to see how Mei Wenhua handles this situation.

Under everyone's watchful eyes.

Mei Wenhua's face turned pale and then flushed.

"You, you!"

She pointed at Su Jiang repeatedly with her finger, her not-so-full chest heaving violently with anger.

"You just wait, I'll make you pay! I'm calling your principal right now!"

As Mei Wenhua spoke, she reached for her phone and made a call in front of everyone.

As soon as the phone is connected.

Mei Wenhua pressed on, saying, "Shen Chunlin, is this how you manage a school? A freshman from the School of Humanities is actually giving lectures to upperclassmen—isn't that absurd?"

Upon hearing this call, Shen Chunlin on the other end of the phone knew exactly what had happened: "You mean Su Jiang, right? Professor Mei, believe me, you can try listening to one of his lectures. After one lecture, if you feel he's not good at it, then come and tell me."

When Wu Hongji first approached Shen Chunlin, asking him to apply for a fast track for Su Jiang's position as a lecturer, he confidently assured him that Su Jiang was the most suitable and exceptionally talented person he had ever met.

Wu Hongji is a person who would never be careless or sloppy when it comes to important and serious matters.

Based on the attention Wang Delin and Qin Siyuan paid to Su Jiang, Shen Chunlin could vaguely guess that Su Jiang was the one who solved the Navier-Stokes equation.

Therefore, Shen Chunlin had absolute confidence in Su Jiang.

Mei Wenhua originally thought that Shen Chunlin would speak up for her out of consideration for her.

I never expected that not only would Shen Chunlin not speak up for me, but he would also make me listen to a lecture by a freshman from the School of Humanities.

"Fine, fine!" Mei Wenhua's expression immediately became complicated. From sneer to disbelief, and then to sinister intent.

"Okay, I'll just attend one class. If it's even slightly bad, I'll give Tsinghua University a good shout-out!"

She hung up the phone immediately after she finished speaking.

The students sitting next to her were worried that she might bend her phone.

As Mei Wenhua sat down, the students at Shanghai Jiaotong University all quieted down.

Just then, the bell rang for class.

Su Jiang saw that everyone had quieted down.

So they didn't bother to kick them out.

He didn't look at the teaching materials, but rather at the computer and the PowerPoint presentation.

After taking a sip of water to moisten my throat.

"Today you will learn functional analysis. Don't think it's too difficult. Let me tell you, the reason why you don't understand functional analysis when you are previewing or preparing for the competition is that you don't understand it."

"It's because many of the books you have forcibly simplified functional analysis. If many of the key concepts weren't explained to you separately, you simply wouldn't understand them, which is why you find it difficult. I don't know what the people who compiled these books were thinking."

"You should know that normally, functional analysis can be studied as a standalone course, so don't think it's because you're not capable. Actually, you've all been misled by the people who published the books. Today, I will list out everything that's in the books and everything that's not."

"There are several important points that everyone needs to pay attention to, think about, and understand."

"The first is about understanding metric spaces and normed linear spaces; the second is about bounded linear operators and continuous functionals; the third is about inner product spaces and Hilbert spaces; the fourth is about the concept and understanding of Banach spaces; and the fifth is about the spectrum of linear operators."

......

Su Jiang finished speaking.

Mei Wenhua's face below the stage had become even more gloomy.

There is no other reason.

The textbook that Tsinghua University has is compiled by top teachers from major universities across the country, and the section on functional analysis was compiled by Mei Wenhua.

Therefore, when Su Jiang said that everyone had been harmed by the people who published the book, and even questioned what the people who published the book were thinking, he was wrong.

It was like a loud slap across Mei Wenhua's face.

Moreover, when Mei Wenhua was teaching at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, she would often boast about writing textbooks, saying that she had written the books with a group of academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

This matter is now widely known among students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

In a short time.

All the students at Shanghai Jiao Tong University who knew about it glanced at Mei Wenhua, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Su Jiang on stage had no idea that this segment was written by Mei Wenhua.
