Shocking! This student is phenomenal!

"What's wrong?" Su Jiang asked curiously when he noticed that Mi Le's expression was off.

"It's nothing serious, it's just that I feel some internet celebrities these days are going a bit too far," Miler said, shaking her head with a hint of helplessness.

"I was thinking that we need livestreamers to sell products, so I found an influencer who has 5000 million followers online and whose livestreams attract more than 1000 million viewers per session."

"After a brief conversation with them, I found out that their asking price was simply outrageous."

Hearing what Miler said, Su Jiang became interested.

"So, how much did they ask for?"

Miler sighed again: "A single live stream costs 100 million, plus a 20% commission on sales, and there's no limit on the number of orders. No performance-based agreement."

Upon hearing this quote, Su Jiang was completely stunned.

Is this internet celebrity really that ruthless?

A fee of 100 million per game is indeed necessary for someone with 5000 million fans and a high level of fan activity. However, the subsequent commission, unlimited number of games, and no betting agreement seem somewhat inhumane.

It's important to understand that the goal of businesses hiring online influencers to promote their products is always to make money quickly.

But with all those miscellaneous fees added up to such an outrageous amount, how are they supposed to make money? Make money off your products?

"I also protested, showing that our product is very effective and helpful to others. Could you offer a lower price?"

"I didn't expect them to refuse outright, they were very dismissive."

Miler is also very dissatisfied with the current distorted online environment.

"What's this internet celebrity's name?" Su Jiang asked.

He was also very curious about what this internet celebrity did, given how arrogant he was.

"His name is Tang Xiaoqi." Mi Le opened her phone and showed Tang Xiaoqi's profile to Su Jiang: "He's a singer, and among singers, he's quite popular."

Su Jiang took the phone and casually tapped a few buttons.

I listened to some of his singing works.

Emmmm.

To be honest, it wasn't even as good as Huang Rutong's singing, which I had previously been eyeing.

It's a typical example of a sound effect bug that only knows how to use data, the kind that's useless in real life.

"Since they're unwilling, we don't need to worry. I'll arrange the livestreamers; we have enough people," Su Jiang said confidently.

Miler was somewhat worried, guessing that Su Jiang's confidence in saying this stemmed from Yongming Brokerage Company.

Miler has already visited Yung Ming Brokerage.

First, their shareholder structure is very complex and scattered, and there are many people with decision-making power, which means that many decisions need to be made by many people together.

Secondly, their company doesn't have any major online influencers; it mainly relies on a platform that cultivates users to the level of several million followers. They accumulate profits based on sheer volume.

This is also why Sun Life Brokerage has been able to grow to its current size.

Companies that promote internet celebrities are easily targeted, and once targeted, they face a barrage of lawsuits.

Moreover, the cost of growing from a few thousand followers to several million followers is on a completely different scale than the cost of growing from several million followers to tens of millions of followers.

You need to add one or two zeros after it.

Therefore, many companies now find that their cash flow is exhausted after a series of operations, and they become obsolete.

"President Su, Yongming is not easy to control," Mi Le said with some concern.

After all, they only own 15 percent of the shares, making them just one of the few shareholders who have a say.

Su Jiang smiled mysteriously: "Don't worry, I have a way."

"Come with me to Yongming in a bit."

After handing over their work with Qian Bo at the company, the two drove to Jiangzhou Yongming Brokerage Company.

The company is located in an office building next to a shopping mall in Jiangzhou.

Due to the recent rise of the live streaming industry, according to Miler, there are several small live streaming studios in this building.

Yung Ming Brokerage is located on the 7th and 8th floors of this building.

Just as Su Jiang and Mi Le entered the gates of Yongming Brokerage Company, a young man carrying a briefcase also entered the company.

Seeing that Su Jiang and his group seemed to be there on business, the young man asked curiously, "Are you also here to work with Yongming Entertainment to promote their products?"

Before Mi Le could say anything, Su Jiang interrupted her, saying, "Yeah, you're here to get them to promote your products too?"

The young man nodded emphatically: "Yes, these days, our physical businesses either follow the trend of live streaming and set up their own e-commerce departments, or they find live streaming companies to sell their products."

Su Jiang nodded slightly, confirming that this was indeed the case.

But then the young man leaned close to Su Jiang's ear and whispered, "Brother, have you given anything to Boss Yang inside?"

As he spoke, he rubbed his fingers together.

Su Jiang asked, puzzled, "Are we supposed to bribe them when we ask them to do a live stream?"

"Hey, you don't understand!" The young man said enthusiastically, leaning close to Su Jiang, and said with some concern for him, "You've come all this way for nothing."

"There's an unspoken rule at Yongming: Boss Yang is in charge of getting business through live streaming, but he won't put you in the queue unless someone offers you money."

"I've been turned away several times, but finally a kind person reminded me. Today I brought a red envelope worth a full 20,000 yuan."

Clearly, this society is full of unspoken rules. You need to put in some effort and spend some money to get things done more smoothly, no matter where you go.

But now that Yung Ming Brokerage is essentially his own company, it's so blatantly obvious that someone is abusing their power for personal gain within his own company.

Su Jiang found it somewhat unbearable.

"Don't worry, even if you don't bribe me, you can still get things done today!" Su Jiang patted the young man on the shoulder.

Then he asked, "What's your name?"

The young man was clearly bewildered by Su Jiang's actions.

"My surname is Jiao, and my given name is Ruyi." After saying this, the young man moved a little further away from Su Jiang.

This guy is so audacious; what kind of wild and outrageous things is he saying?

He thought he was a high-ranking executive of the company, making boastful remarks. Jiao Ruyi had met all the company's executives before, but she had never seen this person before.

You might offend someone's company leader in a moment.

It's best to keep your distance so as not to interfere with your business.

However, Su Jiang and Mi Le, who were standing nearby, blushed slightly upon hearing Jiao Ruyi's words.

His eyes also held a complex expression.

Surname Jiao? Ruyi?

Neither of these two things is normal.

I won't go into his surname, Jiao, but he's a grown man named Ruyi.

What was your dad thinking?

"Jiao Ruyi!"

Suddenly, a man who looked like an assistant came out and called out.

"Hey! It's here!"

Jiao Ruyi quickly responded.

Then, with a humble expression, he walked over to the staff member.

As for what Su Jiang said, "Screw you, who the hell would believe you? You can't do it without bribing someone?"
