Revolving lantern, back to zero

When a person is dying, their brain replays their entire life's memories—this is known as a "time replay." Criminal investigation captain Lin Shen discovers that he can repeatedly observe every frame of the events leading up to his death in this replay, finding overlooked clues, and then "starting over." He believes he possesses the ability to rewind time. Each death brings him one step closer to the truth.
