Greece: I am the master of destiny!

Chapter 14 The Earth Mother's Resistance

Having witnessed her two children being destroyed and torn apart by Uranus, Gaia, the Earth Mother, had her last shred of love for Uranus completely extinguished.

The great mother goddess finally realized that Uranus was no longer her beloved, but had become a tyrannical god-king.

He was suspicious and arrogant. Power and strength were absolute taboos in His heart, and He would even destroy His own relatives and bloodline for this reason.

But the Mother Goddess was so kind that she could not bear such a thing to happen.

She has already experienced the pain of losing a child twice, and she absolutely does not want to experience it a third time!

However, the Earth Mother, who holds the power of reproduction, is not good at fighting, not to mention that Uranus is now too strong, so strong that it is despair-inducing.

She couldn't stop Uranus at all, nor could she influence any of his thoughts.

She could only watch helplessly as Uranus, believing the great threat was gone, grew increasingly arrogant and conceited, either forcing her to have sex against her will or "disciplining" the remaining children.

The world is so vast now, there's nothing there. The only pleasure the bored god-king finds is tormenting the gods.

He would command the sun and sea to come into contact, watching them suffer terribly, yet laughing loudly in defiance of the command. He would also make Iapetus and Coeus fight each other, leaving them battered and bruised, yet never allowing them to stop.

All sorts of tricks kept emerging, much to the dismay of the gods, yet they were utterly helpless.

If things continue like this, she may soon lose her third child, perhaps in one of Uranus's next "whimsical" moments.

Just when Gaia was at a loss, a figure quietly ascended the sacred mountain while Uranus was tormenting the gods.

"Great Mother Earth, nurturer of all things, you do not look well."

Faced with the concerned inquiry from the man in white, Gaia coldly replied:

"All of this is thanks to you."

Upon hearing this, Prometheus felt somewhat helpless.

But as a prophet, it's normal to be misunderstood, so Prometheus had no choice but to explain his helpless actions once again.

In truth, Gaia knew that none of this had much to do with Prometheus; it was all Uranus's request.

But when she thought of her crippled son, Gaia couldn't help but feel a bit of resentment towards Prometheus.

"What are you doing here?" Gaia said coldly. "I don't want to hear your infuriating prophecies."

"I've come to your rescue," Prometheus said. "Perhaps you can listen to my prophecy; you might find it beneficial."

"I don't want to hear it, and I don't need you to solve my problems," Gaia said mercilessly. "Now, get out of my sight immediately!"

She adopted a posture of refusing to communicate, not wanting to say anything more. Prometheus became increasingly helpless and could only sigh softly.

"In that case, I won't bother you any longer. But... Your Majesty the Great Earth Mother, if one day you change your mind, or if you are left with nowhere else to turn, you may come to me again."

"At that time, perhaps you will be willing to listen to me."

After he finished speaking, seeing that Gaia remained unmoved, he could only sigh and leave.

Only after leaving the sacred mountain did Prometheus finally raise his head and look at the desolate and barren land.

The newborn world was already riddled with holes from Uranus's ravages, but this was only the beginning.

"Is the Mother Goddess unwilling to listen to your words?"

A cold voice sounded behind him. Prometheus didn't turn around, but sighed and said, "Perhaps she has her own ideas."

Themis, dressed in white, approached Prometheus, her beautiful brows furrowing, and couldn't help but ask, "The order you speak of, will it truly return?"

"meeting."

Prometheus answered without hesitation, but after a moment, a look of helplessness appeared on his face: "But it's not time yet."

Themis nodded, raised her delicate face, and looked with her white-bound eyes at the ravaged earth, saying softly:

"I hope that day comes soon."

Prometheus has given up on changing Uranus's fate.

He gave the prophecy that "Cronus" was the swordsman, both to protect himself from being schemed against by Cronus and as a last attempt to change Uranus's fate.

Uranus had treated the gods and the world the way he did because he was anxious about the prophecy, so Prometheus told him the true meaning of the prophecy.

But after He finished dealing with Cronus and breathed a heavy sigh of relief, He showed no remorse for His actions.

Having solved their biggest problem, they became even more reckless.

This profoundly taught Prometheus a lesson, which was—

Do not live by sin.

There are reasons why some god-kings were overthrown.

Since he couldn't save it, Prometheus gave up and decided to accept his fate. He began to think about how to overthrow Uranus and save the world without Cronus.

This is not difficult; He even has a way of doing it.

However, the time was clearly not right yet, and the Earth Mother Goddess Gaia seemed to have some ideas of her own.

Since that's the case, let's wait and see what good idea Gaia comes up with.

However, it seems that Gaia's methods are limited.

Once she's tried them all, she'll probably realize how ridiculous she is right now.

Moreover, Prometheus knew that day was not far off.

Just as Prometheus had predicted, Gaia's solution was actually quite simple.

That is to use one's reproductive rights.

After Uranus finished dealing with the gods and returned to the sacred mountain in high spirits, he found Gaia, the mother goddess, ready for a second round of entertainment. To his surprise, Gaia did not give him a cold shoulder this time.

Centuries have passed since He dealt with Cronus, and each time He united with Gaia, it was quite unpleasant.

He even had to suppress Gaia with the power of creation before He could get close, and each time, Gaia would struggle frantically.

Although Uranus found it amusing to watch Gaia struggle, he ultimately missed the Gaia who catered to him.

Most importantly, without Gaia, the goddess of fertility, they could never give birth to new gods.

This time, however, Gaia did not resist or reject Him.

Uranus was instantly overjoyed; they were united to an unprecedented depth, the heavens and the earth merging seamlessly.

In their union, endless laws collided violently, endless matter was rapidly generated, and the primordial movement of the universe reached its peak.

Accompanied by the enormous hum of the laws, the gods realized something and all looked up at the high mountain.

There, a brand new and powerful aura is being nurtured.

After an incomprehensible period of time, accompanied by terrifying roars and blinding light, three new lives were born:

Argus symbolizes light and governs radiance and vision.

As the eldest son, He represents the dazzling flash of lightning that splits the night sky.

The second son, Steropes, symbolizes lightning and governs both lightning and high temperatures.

He represents the winding energy trajectory that tears the sky apart in the lightning.

And the youngest son, Brontes, symbolizes thunder, and is in charge of thunder and awe.

He represents the immense sound wave that follows lightning, capable of shaking heaven and earth.

Because they contained the resentment of Mother Earth and the desire to rebel against Uranus, these three newborn beings looked completely different from the gods, were extremely ugly, and had only one eye.

After so many years, Uranus was finally expecting new bloodline descendants, but after seeing these three ugly behemoths...

He froze on the spot.
