Chapter 15 The Broken Relationship Between the God-King and God-Queen
Gaia's idea was very simple.
Unable to defy Uranus, she used her own laws of reproduction to give birth to a child capable of defying Uranus.
Thus, the three Cyclops were born. These creatures had a rugged and primitive appearance, with huge bodies like small mountains. Because they only had one huge, bulging eye on their foreheads, they were also known as Cyclopes.
Most importantly, under the deliberate creation of the Earth Mother Goddess Gaia, these three Cyclopes are not manifestations of laws like other gods, but are born with physical bodies, a perfect combination of matter and divinity.
They perfectly inherited all the virtues of Mother Earth and Father Heaven.
They are skillful and ingenious, born to be the best craftsmen, capable of forging the most exquisite artifacts.
Moreover, originating from the power of the material Mother Earth, their own laws are extremely powerful, even stronger than the twelve Titans from birth, each reaching the level of great divine power perfection.
With such power, given time, breaking through to the level of a supreme god is just around the corner.
Moreover, whether it's thunder and lightning or thunderbolts, these are the most terrifying and direct cosmic forces, which also mean that even the highest sky can be covered by dark clouds!
For the first time, Uranus felt a subtle threat from his own child.
Although this threat was not powerful, merely to the point of making Him somewhat displeased, it was enough to enrage Him.
All creatures that displease the God-King are inherently sinful and should not exist at all!
So Uranus made his move.
The moment the three children were born, before they even had a chance to see what their father and mother looked like, Uranus's powerful creative force surged once more.
Gaia sensed something amiss, her expression changed drastically, and she cried out in a trembling voice, "Uranus, what are you doing? They are our children!"
Uranus completely ignored Gaia. For the god-king, kinship was nonexistent, and having children was merely a means to evolve the laws of the world, thereby making himself stronger.
But He soon encountered a dilemma, not because of Gaia's pleas for mercy, nor because the three ugly children had stirred His pity, but because...
These three cyclops are neither pure matter nor pure law, so their consciousness cannot be directly erased, nor can they be divided.
All of Uranus' previous methods of dealing with Uriah and Cronus had failed, forcing him to consider new solutions.
These three Cyclopes were indeed worlds apart from the twelve Titans. Faced with the immense power emanating from the King of Gods, they were not afraid at all. Instead, they glared at Uranus with their single eye.
Upon seeing this, Uranus was so enraged that he laughed instead of laughing. He felt that his dignity and authority as the king of gods had been offended, which made him extremely angry.
"Gaia, look at them! These monsters are unworthy to be gods, for they show no respect for the King of Gods!"
As He spoke, His gaze swept across the distant land.
He suddenly thought of a brilliant solution.
Deep within the earth lies the abyss, the home of Tartarus, the god of the deep.
It is an invisible abyss located at the very bottom of the earth, and it is also the essence of the region.
Of the five primordial gods that originated in the Chaos world, only Gaia was personified; the others were almost entirely devoid of personification.
This ensured their power, but similarly, because they lacked personification, they rarely participated in the struggle for divine authority, let alone concern themselves with the affairs of the god-king's household.
Tartarus was no exception.
In Uranus's view, this was almost the perfect cage.
Without hesitation, He used His power of creation to mercilessly blast the three giants into the deepest part of the earth, sealing them in the bottomless abyss.
At the same time, the majestic voice of the God-King resounded throughout the entire earth: "In the name of the God-King, I declare the Cyclopes guilty, and they shall be imprisoned for eternity, until the end of the world!"
All of this happened so fast that the gods hadn't even had time to react before the three newly born giants were dealt with.
Uranus's cruel and ruthless actions also brought immense pain to Gaia, the Earth Mother.
The abyss is at the deepest part of the earth. When Uranus threw the child into the abyss, it was as if he had forcibly stuffed Gaia's already born child back into her womb.
Mother Goddess Gaia watched all this in shock, her face contorted with excruciating pain; her usually loving and kind face now even appeared somewhat ferocious.
"Uranus, have you gone mad? Do you know what you're doing?!"
Uranus remained completely unmoved, and even secretly breathed a sigh of relief that the threat had been eliminated.
Gaia, however, felt like she was going crazy.
The Cyclopes did not die; the darkness of the abyss and the pain of being sealed caused them to wail incessantly, and these sounds echoed deep within the earth.
Gaia felt her mind filled with the children's painful screams; this mental torment drove her even more mad than the physical pain.
An indescribable, immense anger rose in the heart of this kind-hearted Earth Mother. She had never hated anyone so much, even though this person had once been her beloved.
How ironic.
But seeing Gaia's resentful eyes, Uranus didn't take it to heart at all. He even found it amusing and pressed forward again.
Because Gaia's law is to give birth and she herself has almost no offensive power, Uranus never regarded this kind mother goddess as a threat.
He simply felt that the child born this time was not in accordance with His will, and He needed to give birth to new, perfect laws so that the majesty of the God-King could be manifested.
Gaia stopped speaking and ceased her futile struggles, which would only excite Uranus further.
But now, her once loving eyes were filled with only deathly ashes, and beneath those ashes lay a burning anger that refused to be extinguished.
Heaven and earth unite once more, and this time, Gaia is filled with an even deeper resolve. She will use the supreme status of the God-King to give birth to an even more powerful God of Matter! In this way, she will rebel against the supreme heavens!
The love they once shared vanished like smoke, and now Gaia, filled with nothing but resentment towards Uranus, secretly vowed to make him pay the price!
Prometheus, who had been watching the sacred mountain, saw this scene, felt the rhythm of the cosmic laws between heaven and earth, and the powerful force that was being conceived, and knew that it was almost time.
After the Cyclops incident, the God-King and God-Queen have almost completely broken off relations, and their final rupture is probably... coming soon.
It's time for Him to take action.
