Greece: I am the master of destiny!

Chapter 24 Using a borrowed knife to kill a god

"How could you do that? You actually took advantage of your brother! You're even worse than Prometheus!"

On a certain sacred mountain, Epimetheus, who was not even half as tall as Hecate, stared at the goddess before him with wide eyes and an expression of disbelief.

Prometheus was puzzled by this and couldn't help but look at Hecate.

Hecate was playing with her long black hair, showing no remorse for being caught doing something wrong. Instead, she smiled and uttered two words:

"you guess."

Prometheus grew increasingly bewildered and looked at Epimetheus with questioning eyes.

Then Epimetheus said through gritted teeth, "She should have had a brother, but she has been eating him for the past few centuries."

"That's why she was born with immense divine power, but she went even further than you; her brothers weren't even left with a trace!"

Epimetheus grew increasingly indignant as he spoke, as if recalling the fear he had felt when he was dominated by Prometheus.

Even now, He hasn't grown tall because He was drained too much back then.

Prometheus, however, listened thoughtfully and asked Hecate, "Your brother has no laws, does he?"

Hecate smiled and nodded.

"No wonder," Prometheus sighed, a hint of envy in his eyes.

If you are not a god of law, there is a possibility that you could be drained dry.

If Epimetheus hadn't been a god of law, impossible to destroy once born, Prometheus would have also wanted to completely drain him dry.

In that case, He should also be able to reach the middle level of powerful divine power.

"No, what's with that expression?" Epimetheus's eyes widened. "Why do you look so regretful! Did you not drain me dry back then because I possess laws of nature?!"

"Ahem, that's not important." Prometheus chose to change the subject: "What's important now is how we can conceal the laws within Hecate."

"And... now that the Twelve Titans are gone, do the gods need our 'help'?"

"Why do they need our help?" Epimetheus frowned. "With that energy, you should think about how to deal with Atlas and stop him from watching us all the time."

"Let's start with Atlas then," Prometheus smiled. "Since the Father is away, Atlas must miss him terribly. Let's help him."

Now that all twelve Titans are gone, what a great opportunity this is... to deal with their children or to reap the benefits.

Epimetheus's lips twitched upon hearing this: "How...how can you help? Find a way to rescue Father God? I'm afraid that's difficult to do."

"No need for that trouble, just send Him to see your Father God," Hecate interjected with a smile. "It'll be a way of showing our respect to Him."

After she finished speaking, she looked at Prometheus, who nodded and said, "Atlas is, after all, our brother, so it is only right that we help Him."

He paused, a worried look on his face, and said, "But Atlas's personality must make him very prone to offending people. It truly worries God..."

After a brief exchange, the plan was finalized. The two men looked at each other and smiled simultaneously.

Epimetheus, who didn't understand at all: "..."

I have a feeling that these two guys together are up to no good.

"Oh, right." Epimetheus cleared his throat and said, "I've thought of a way to conceal the Law of Hecate. The great Earth Mother has a magical artifact that should come in handy."

"What is it?" Prometheus asked.

"The Bottle of Life," Epimetheus said. "You can go to Prince Gaia and borrow the Bottle of Life."

……

Meanwhile, Atlas was descending the sacred mountain in high spirits, and once again he received Uranus's praise.

Uranus even called Him the most valiant Titan.

This made Atlas feel extremely honored, and he became even more arrogant, even feeling that he was second only to the gods and above all others, and he walked with a sense of arrogance.

Then He saw Epimetheus at the foot of the sacred mountain.

This short guy was acting suspiciously, and Atlas frowned. Without hesitation, he walked over and said coldly:

"Epimetheus, what are you doing?"

Epimetheus seemed startled, his tender face turning pale, and he whispered, "I... I wanted to visit the great Mother Earth. My laws have shown me her current suffering."

"But my divine power is too weak. Without His Majesty the God-King's permission, I cannot ascend the sacred mountain."

Upon hearing this, Atlas immediately showed a look of disdain and sneered, "What a piece of trash, just like your brother, disgusting."

Epimetheus looked somewhat aggrieved, but still spoke in a humble voice, "Brother Atlas, now that you can freely enter and leave the sacred mountain, have you gone to visit the great Mother Earth?"

"Why should I visit her?" Atlas was utterly baffled. "She's just a useless baby-making machine; she can't even beat me."

"How can you speak of the great Earth Mother like that!" Epimetheus exclaimed indignantly. "Without her, there would be no us gods! Even our great God-King was born of Princess Gaia!"

"Why can't I say it? Am I not telling the truth?"

Atlas grew increasingly disdainful. He had inherited Iapetus's straightforward nature and revered power. In his eyes, what was Gaia?

"Gaia is nothing more than a reproductive tool," Atlas said disdainfully. "It is her honor to bear children for the great God-King."

"In the end, instead of being grateful, she even wanted to go against the God-King. She's utterly ungrateful."

Atlas didn't lower his voice at all, his sarcasm sounding incredibly self-righteous, which made Gaia, who was not far away, grit her teeth and her eyes filled with anger.

"This... Great Mother Goddess, please don't hold it against Him," Prometheus advised from the side. "Atlas has never been very bright since childhood. Your greatness is known to all the gods!"

Gaia sneered, "Truly worthy of being the god Uranus trusted, just like Uranus... disgusting to me."

Prometheus looked utterly helpless. He had come to offer advice to Gaia, but by sheer coincidence, he encountered Atlas spouting nonsense.

Seeing Gaia's anger growing ever stronger, He sighed and said sadly:

"Ever since Atlas received the praise of His Majesty the King of Gods, his personality has changed somewhat. Epimetheus, our mother, and I can now barely survive under His oppression."

"That's nothing, but I didn't expect Him to be so arrogant, not only speaking ill of you, Mother Earth, at home, but also being so unrestrained in public..."

"Sigh, never mind. After all, he's someone His Majesty the God-King trusts, so I can't really say anything."

Upon hearing this, Gaia's anger flared even more fiercely, and he gritted his teeth: "Now it really is true, anyone can step on my head!"

Upon seeing this, Prometheus seemed to hesitate for a moment, then said, "Great Mother Goddess, I can help you solve your troubles, but you will have to pay a small price."
