Greece: I am the master of destiny!

Chapter 49 The Declaration of the Sky

Even after enduring the torment of Uranus, Gaia remained the gentle Earth Mother when facing her children.

She wouldn't have a different opinion of Cronus just because he was weak.

Seeing that all twelve of her children had chosen Cronus, Gaia, though somewhat puzzled, accepted it.

And, seemingly reluctantly, Prometheus decided to give up his own bottle of life to quell the trouble.

Gaia admired and was grateful to Prometheus. Although the Aquarius of Life was important, Gaia herself was the goddess who held the power of procreation, and the Aquarius only played a supporting role for her.

Seeing that Prometheus had done so much with the Bottle of Life and seemed quite pleased with it, Gaia, not being a stingy god, simply gave it away.

But for Prometheus, this was an unexpected surprise.

Cronus was the god-king He chose, so how could He really be dissatisfied?

It could even be said that if He hadn't deliberately given Cronus enough time, Cronus would never have had the chance to persuade the gods.

The reason He pretended to hesitate was simply because...

"Cronus, the throne of the gods is not as perfect as you imagine. I can give you a chance to back out."

Prometheus looked at Cronus and calmly began his narration.

"It's my honor to be able to do something for this world." Kronos forced a smile, but showed no intention of backing down.

He had become so weak that if He did not become the King of Gods, He would have no way to survive and would be at the mercy of others from now on.

Cronus was such a proud god at heart, how could he possibly be willing to live such a life?

Moreover, the discord between Him and Prometheus was well-known. Whatever Prometheus said, He would feel that He was being plotted against, so naturally He would not listen to a word Prometheus said.

Now that the throne of the god-king is already in His pocket, how could He possibly be willing to give it up?

However, what He didn't know was... that Prometheus had planned all of this.

This even includes His current predicament of being so weak that He has nowhere to turn.

A fleeting smile crossed Prometheus's lips, but he nodded expressionlessly and said calmly, "This is the path you chose yourself, and I have already advised you against it."

After saying that, He ignored Cronus's reaction and turned to look at Rhea.

"Beautiful Goddess of Time, I know you have some misunderstandings about me right now, but I still want to give you some advice."

Ignoring Rhea's grim expression, He calmly said, "I stand at the end of fate, and what I see is your withered and emaciated state."

"If one day you regret your choice, you can come to me. Maybe at that time, I can give you a little advice when you are at your wit's end."

Rhea snorted coldly, believing Prometheus was merely trying to sow discord, and completely disregarded His words, even coldly mocking him:

"God of Prophecy, thank you for your kindness, but I don't need it."

"The gods of this world are always so confident," Prometheus remarked, not at all angry, but simply smiling as he said, "Then good luck, Your Highness Rhea."

After he finished speaking, He looked at the other gods and Gaia, offered a few polite compliments, and then took his leave.

Throughout the entire process, He never once looked at Cronus, the future king of the gods.

Hecate, who had been standing at a distance and had not approached, followed Prometheus after he left.

The two gods traveled together to the land of eternal night.

As they passed through the far west, the Titan Atlas, upon seeing this, widened his eyes and shouted, "Prometheus, where is His Majesty Uranus?"

"What has happened to His Majesty Uranus?! What have you done to the King of the Gods?!"

Atlas, who was punished to support the heavens, naturally sensed the changes that had occurred within the heavens not long ago. Although he did not witness the war of the gods, he seemed to have noticed something.

Although He was reluctant to admit it, He had realized that the powerful god-king Uranus was probably in trouble.

Prometheus ignored Atlas, letting Him keep calling out behind him. Hecate, on the other hand, turned around with a smile and winked her charming eyes.

"Don't you already know the answer? Why are you asking?"

Upon hearing this, Atlas's pupils dilated instantly.

really.

Uranus was indeed in trouble.

The position of God-King has indeed changed.

He wanted to ask a few more questions, but the two figures had already disappeared in the blink of an eye, so Atlas could only shut up.

Atlas's feelings were very complicated at this moment; he couldn't even say whether he was happy or sad.

He had been punished to the heavens for a long time. He was not a patient god to begin with, and this torment made him extremely irritable, and he also harbored more resentment towards Uranus.

He had already begun to despair, after all, Uranus was a god whose word was law.

He said He would punish Him by making Him stand in the heavens forever, so He cannot change His command.

But now... Uranus is no longer the king of the gods!

Doesn't this mean that He has a chance to escape?

Who is the new God-King, and is it possible that He will be pardoned?

Atlas's heart burned with excitement, and he began to try every means to find out more information.

He must find out who the new God-King is, and then find a way to please him, so that he might be able to escape his predicament!

"Prometheus, just you wait! Once I'm free, I'll smash your head open and tear your body to shreds!"

Looking in the direction the white figure had disappeared, Atlas gritted his teeth and said.

Prometheus had no idea what Atlas was thinking, but even if he did, he would just laugh it off and not care at all.

only because……

Atlas's fate had already been woven into a pattern; without the impetus of this variable god, Atlas would have been destined to hold up the sky for his entire life.

And no matter how much He struggles, He cannot change this outcome.

However, Atlas was unaware of these things, so He remained confident at this moment.

When He finally managed to find out that the new god-king was actually Cronus, He was somewhat bewildered.

His memory was still stuck when Cronus was turned into a useless thing by Uranus. It was hard to imagine how such a useless thing could become the new king of the gods.

Atlas's intelligence prevented Him from figuring it out, but He quickly remembered something.

That is...

Cronus became useless entirely because of Prometheus!

He despised Prometheus the most!

Does this mean that as long as He finds a way to let Cronus know about the conflict between Him and Prometheus, He can get out of trouble?

After all... the enemy of my enemy is my friend!

Atlas was immediately excited, as if he could see the day he would be freed from his predicament!

"Prometheus, just you wait, this isn't over!"
