HP: Wizards at Hogwarts
Chapter 14 Other People's Children
The Weasley twins are incredibly enthusiastic; they seem to be perpetually full of energy and have endless things to say.
"If you're scared... oh, I don't think you'll be scared, right?"
"We'll go ahead and wait for you inside."
After they finished speaking, the two pushed their luggage carts one after the other, crashed into the stone wall, and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Elaine then stepped forward and stopped as he passed Harry.
"Did you see clearly just now?"
Harry blushed. "Uh... I'm not entirely sure yet."
Why are you blushing like a teapot?
"Then watch it again."
Elaine hopped two steps to the side, then turned and strode quickly toward the stone wall.
The stone wall was like a 3D projection, without causing the slightest ripple as the body passed through it.
Behind the projection was a dark tunnel two or three meters long. After passing through the tunnel, the scene in front of you changed instantly.
A red steam train was parked beside the platform, with a sign that read "Hogwarts Express" on it and the number "5972" printed on the front.
The platform was packed with students and parents.
The sounds of people talking, owls hooting, and suitcases scraping against the ground mingled together.
bang bang——
Elaine turned around at the sound and saw Harry, Ron, Mrs. Molly, and her youngest daughter Ginny following behind.
The group approached Elaine.
"Alright, you should put your luggage on the train now..."
Mrs. Molly spoke gently to Harry and Ron.
As she spoke, she took out a handkerchief to wipe the dust off Ron's nose, but Ron turned his head away to avoid it.
Molly had no choice but to abandon this plan and turned to look at Elvin, wanting him to go with Harry and Ron so that they could look after each other. But after her gaze shifted to him, she suddenly realized what was going on.
"etc!"
"Son, where's your luggage? Did you forget to bring it?"
"Merlin's beard! I hadn't noticed it at all from just now until now..."
The shout also made Harry and Ron, who were standing nearby, notice the difference between Elaine and them, and they looked over in surprise.
Yeah, why doesn't this person have any luggage?
More importantly, with so many of them, not a single one of them seemed to find it strange?!
"Don't worry, madam."
Elaine took the Merck leather bag from his pocket and waved it: "My luggage is all in here."
"The reason no one found it strange is because I used a Confusion Charm on myself."
Elaine had only cast the Confusion Charm casually, so its effect didn't last long. Several minutes had passed since he started talking to Harry, so the effect naturally disappeared.
"The Confusion Charm is supposed to be introduced in fourth grade..."
"Well, it's not surprising that a child who can cast a Restoration Charm silently and without a wand would also know how to use a Confusion Charm."
Mrs. Molly suddenly understood the mindset of herself and Arthur's wizard friends every time they saw Bill.
Bill, whose real name is William Arthur Weasley.
He is the eldest son of Madam Molly and Arthur Weasley. He is 21 years old this year. Not only is he outstanding in appearance, but he was also a top student in Hogwarts. He was a tough guy who was able to get twelve certificates in the OWLs exams. He is definitely the "other people's child".
"You must be the most talented child I've ever seen."
"I wish my Ron could be as good as you..."
"To be honest, I don't even know your names."
It wasn't until the moment of parting that Molly finally remembered to ask the two children's names.
"Harry Potter".
"What?! Who?!"
Ginny Weasley, who had remained silent throughout and looked like a girl dragged from her bed to the station by Molly, suddenly perked up.
"You...you...you're Harry Potter?"
Merlin's stockings!
The famous Harry Potter has been right next to me since just now, but I haven't said a single word to him!
Ginny was filled with regret.
I regret my previous indifference, and I regret even more that I didn't dress up properly when I went out today.
Harry nodded awkwardly.
He had seen this reaction several times before.
Ever since Hagrid brought him into the wizarding world, it seems that every wizard who knows his name has had this reaction.
Therefore, he cares more about other people's reactions.
Harry first looked at Elaine, the first peer he thought was a decent person.
Elaine's expression was indifferent, as if "Harry Potter" were an extremely ordinary name, just like "Tom," "David," "Chris," and "R.K. Rowling."
This made Harry feel a little disappointed, but mostly happy.
Finally, a wizard is treating me like a normal person, instead of some kind of "savior"!
Ginny blushed and stammered, while Ron was too shocked to speak. Only Molly opened her mouth but didn't say anything after hearing the name. Instead, her gaze towards Harry softened and became more tender.
She couldn't resist reaching out and touching Harry's head.
"Good boy, if you need any help at school in the future, just ask Ron."
"Ron, you need to get along well with Harry, you hear me?"
"I understand, Mom."
Molly composed herself and turned to Elvin: "And what's your name, child?"
"Elevin Yakut".
Yakut?
Molly searched her memory very carefully and found that she had never heard of this surname before!
"Excuse me, child, may I ask who your parents are...?"
"I am an orphan!"
Elaine replied, "I grew up in an orphanage, so I don't know who my parents are. The director passed away a few months ago, and the orphanage was demolished by the local government. If I hadn't received the letter from Hogwarts, I would still be homeless."
Oh~~
Merlin's beard!
Molly quickly covered her mouth, tears welling in her eyes, her heart aching.
Abandoned by his parents, died at the hospital, and left homeless...
No wonder he came alone today.
I'm so damn stupid!!
They even brought up the child's painful past!
"I...I'm so sorry, child..."
Molly's voice was choked with sobs.
Harry's gaze toward Elaine changed.
He never expected that this seemingly lively, cheerful, enthusiastic, and humorous boy he had just met would have such a background.
This background is just like mine... no, it might even be worse than mine!
"It's alright, madam."
Elvin forced a smile: "To me, the 'past' is just a defeated foe, not worth mentioning; the 'future' is a mystery, worth my challenge; and the 'present' is a gift from heaven, worth cherishing!"
"I won't let my past experiences hold me back from my bad mood."
