HP: Wizards at Hogwarts

Chapter 26 The Kitchen Disaster

To the right of the reception hall, there is a lower staircase, and on the left, there is a hidden spiral passage leading downwards.

With a soft sound, Elaine's voice appeared here with a "whoosh".

"Phew~"

"That was a close call!"

"Old Mike almost spotted me, luckily I got out of there quickly!"

Elivin patted his chest with lingering fear, then a sinister smile appeared on his face.

"If I remember correctly, Hogwarts' kitchen is downstairs!"

"Tsk tsk tsk..."

"You guys can go hungry all you want, I'm going to start eating!"

The spiral passage soon came to an end.

The place is only lit by a single fire, making it appear quite dim.

Elaine looked at the walls on the left and right, paying attention to the paintings on them, and soon found a still life of fruit.

He reached out and scratched the pear in the painting, and something magical happened—the pear turned into a green doorknob!

"Oh my God!"

"Unbelievable! This pear has turned into a doorknob!"

"Let's see what's inside!"

Elaine seemed to have channeled his inner drama queen, putting on a stage play for thin air.

After a brief chant, he pushed open the door and entered.

Sure enough, behind the door was a hidden world—the Hogwarts kitchen.

The first thing I saw was a large furnace placed on a fire, which reminded Elaine of the giant globe that used to stand at the entrance of her school when she was a student.

The stove was placed very high, so high that a ladder had to be placed next to it to throw food in.

The second thing that catches the eye is the ceiling.

The kitchen ceiling was much lower than Elaine had imagined, and he even doubted whether it could be effectively ventilated.

Immediately afterwards, Elaine's attention was drawn to a group of ragged creatures that only reached his waist.

They are house-elves of Hogwarts.

At this very moment, these house-elves are busy preparing for the upcoming dinner party.

Upon hearing the door open, all the house-elves stopped what they were doing and looked at Elaven in surprise.

strange!

Why would a little wizard be visiting the kitchen at this time?

Shouldn't they be welcoming the new students in the cafeteria?

The house-elves had no idea that 'Elevin might be a newborn'.

After all, that's simply impossible!

Firstly, freshmen are unlikely to know the location of the kitchen;

Secondly, at this time, the freshmen should still be under Hagrid's supervision. Afterwards, they will attend the Sorting Ceremony in the auditorium and then take their seats for a meal.

Dumbledore hasn't even served the meal yet, so how could there be any new students here?

So the house-elves assumed that Elaine was an older wizard who was hungry, but dinner hadn't started yet, so he came to the kitchen to eat.

"Dear little wizard, is there anything you need?"

"Jerry, it's my pleasure to serve you!"

A house-elf came to greet them.

Regardless of the reason why this young wizard didn't go to the Great Hall, now that he's here, they should serve him!

"Hello, Jerry."

Elaine behaved very politely, "Headmaster Dumbledore asked me to check if the dinner preparations were complete."

"So that's how it is!"

Jerry said, "The dinner is all ready. Please tell Headmaster Dumbledore that he is ready to dine at any time."

"Could you let me check it first?"

"Of course, no problem!"

Elaine nodded and, guided by Jerry, headed towards the dining table in the kitchen.

The dining tables in the kitchen correspond one-to-one with the dining tables in the canteen.

At this time, the tables were filled with all kinds of food.

As soon as Dumbledore announces that dinner is served, the food will be instantly teleported to the dining table in the dining hall by the house-elves.

Elaine walked to one of the tables and casually picked up a few items of food to eat.

At the same time, he took out a high-end lunchbox from his spatial pocket, picked out some easily stored food from the table and put it in, just in case.

After doing all this, he waved to the little elf beside him.

The little elves immediately surrounded them: "Sir, is there something wrong with tonight's food?"

Preparing meals for all teachers and students is their job and the meaning of their existence. If anything goes wrong, they will feel guilty to death!

"These foods aren't sweet enough!"

Elaine casually picked up a cloth from the table and wiped his hands, a serious expression on his face. "Principal Dumbledore said that all the food tonight will be sweet!"

"That way, whenever the new young wizards think of Hogwarts, they will immediately recall that sweet first dinner."

"All of you come and help, and be quick, or it'll be too late, understand?"

The nerves of all the house-elves instantly tightened.

"I...I understand!"

"Let's act immediately!!"

After leaving the kitchen, Elaine did not return to the auditorium, but instead teleported back outside the houseboat.

He pushed open the door and went inside, only to find that the first batch of young wizards had just arrived.

Malfoy, along with his two henchmen, were sitting on the ground resting in a completely unseemly manner.

On the distant ice, many young wizards were rushing towards this place.

Hagrid was also with the young wizards.

His face was full of regret and guilt, with two clear tear tracks running from the corners of his eyes down to his collar.

Clearly, his memory had returned, and he realized the foolish thing he had just done.

To accommodate the younger wizards who were physically weak and had poor balance, the group walked very slowly, which is why they haven't reached the boathouse yet.

"Master Malfoy! Look, it's that Mudblood!"

"When did he show up?!"

"have no idea."

When Elaine heard the sound, he turned around and saw Crabbe shaking the fat off his face.

"That kid seemed to be laughing at us just now!"

"Should I go over and teach him a lesson?"

Malfoy's second henchman, a boy named Goyle, glared fiercely at Elaine before turning to Malfoy for instructions.

Elivin: "..."

This chubby kid seems pretty brave.

"Teach him a lesson?"

Upon hearing this, Malfoy looked up at Elaine, thought seriously for several seconds, and finally waved his hand.

"That kid is just Harry Potter's sidekick; disciplining him only made my hands dirty."

"Besides, if word gets out that the three of us are teaching him a lesson, people will only look down on me, Young Master Malfoy."

"Let's wait until next time. Next time, when Harry Potter and the other two are all together, we'll deal with them openly and honestly!"

"There are three of us, and there are three of them too."

"When the time comes, Harry Potter will naturally be mine, Crabbe will deal with the Weasleys, and you'll handle this guy!"

With a few words, Malfoy made what he considered to be the most reasonable and correct arrangement.

In fact, it was indeed the most correct arrangement.

"Understood."

"Then we'll do as you say and let that kid off the hook for now."

"Young Master Malfoy is indeed upright and honest, possessing the pride of a pure-blood nobleman!"

"Hahaha...of course!"
