Chapter 142 My Husband's Cheat Code
Chapter 142 My Husband's Cheat Code
Louis was overjoyed that his wish had come true. He whistled all day long, looking like he was super, super, super happy.
Even in Defense Against the Dark Arts class, Louis surprisingly gave everyone two extra credits, and everyone was discussing it privately, thinking that Professor Louis had taken the wrong medicine today.
But actually, it wasn't Louis who took the wrong medicine; Louis didn't take anything.
This happiness lasted until they returned to the office, when Catherine saw him and instinctively coughed twice.
"What's wrong?" Louis asked cheerfully.
"Get lost..." Catherine rolled her eyes dramatically, and after a long pause, she retorted, "Just seeing you brings back that urge to choke me..."
"Hahahahaha..." Louis laughed for a while, then sat down next to Catherine.
He copied down the magic of the Greatsword Formation and gave it to Catherine.
"What is this?" Catherine picked up the magical paper with great interest.
"Greatsword array, a very powerful spell." With a wave of his hand, three azure greatswords shining with blue light appeared on his left and right shoulders and above his head, respectively. They were estimated to be nearly two meters long and looked quite terrifying.
He opened the window, pointed casually, and three giant blue swords shot out with lightning speed, felling three large trees in the distant forbidden forest.
Big Tree: I didn't offend any of you...
"Not bad magic." Catherine put away the paper containing the giant sword array spell and nodded with satisfaction. "The power seems quite impressive... Is there anything else special about it?"
"Actually, these three greatswords can be driven by willpower," Louis said with a smile. "They can even automatically search for and attack targets in the surrounding area that are hostile to you... but that will only be possible when you've mastered this spell to a very high level."
"I understand." Catherine nodded and asked with a light smile, "Then, my little deer, what would you like as payment?"
As she spoke, she winked at Louis.
"Let's talk about it when you're better..." Louis reached out and gently touched Catherine's earlobe. To be honest, the warm, smooth feel of it was infinitely better than the touch of any jade in the world.
These words only made things worse. After saying them, Catherine coughed twice, lowered her hand, and gave Louis a resentful look.
Louis chuckled twice and continued to play with Catherine's earlobe.
"But... are you really alright?" Catherine asked hesitantly. Although she had confirmed it countless times before, she was still worried about Louis and whether it would affect his development.
"Hehe... It's alright, I'll use the cheat." Louis made a humorous little joke.
……
Headmaster Dumbledore recently issued an order to implement a curfew on campus and advised students to avoid being alone as much as possible, while he organized the school's professors to patrol the campus.
Louis knew that Dumbledore was buying himself time to act in his own way.
Dumbledore's strategy of alerting the enemy did indeed work; the "Slytherin heir" seemed to have gone into hiding, and there have been no further incidents of students being attacked recently.
But Dumbledore did not slack off at all. He still personally led the professors to patrol each floor from six in the morning until after nine at night to prevent the attack from happening again.
Days flew by, and a month passed quickly. On the day the Polyjuice Potion was finished, Louis specially invited Percy, Penelope Crivart, and Percy's close friend Jack Campbell, and borrowed Harry's invisibility cloak to bring the three of them to his office one by one.
Mainly to avoid arousing suspicion from those with ulterior motives, even the Harry trio were taken over by Louise one by one.
Inside the office, Harry's trio and the fifth-year trio were all gathered together.
Penelope was still looking at Louis with those heart-shaped eyes, making him a little uncomfortable.
This senior is quite pretty, but... well, Louis doesn't have any romantic ideas for her yet.
"...That's the basic situation." After explaining the plan, Louis looked intently at the six people in front of him.
Percy, of course, had no objection; in fact, he didn't like Lockhart at all—in fact, nobody liked him throughout fifth grade.
Penelope and Jack had no objections, and Louis even offered them generous compensation—while waiting for the Harry trio to complete their mission, they could experience the Mirror World as many times as they wanted in Louis's office.
With this perk announced, the three of them had no objections whatsoever—they had long heard their second-year classmates boast about how incredibly powerful, wonderful, and realistic Professor Lewis's Mirror World was, and they never imagined they would actually experience it themselves.
It is a great honor to be able to experience this even before the entire fifth grade.
It should be said that no one had any expectations of Lockhart. They had already planned that if the second-year students they were facing were no match for him, they would hold back in the duel and drive away that despicable Professor Lockhart.
Even if Assistant Coach Tifa is beautiful, it won't make a difference; no matter how beautiful she is, it can't erase their hatred for Lockhart.
The three hit it off with Louis almost immediately, especially Penelope, who even cut off a small section of her hair and handed it to Hermione, implying "I have plenty of hair here."
The transformations were thus decided: Harry became Jack, Ron became his brother Percy, and Hermione became Penelope, who was also a woman.
In order to maintain their transformed appearance for a long time, the three of them, on Louis's advice, each prepared two pints of compound soup—enough to last them until they went to bed at night.
Of course, Louis didn't forget the most crucial thing—he made the three little ones change their clothes beforehand, otherwise they would have a hard time wearing small clothes after they grew up.
The clothes were spares from the other three. Harry and Ron were fine, since they were used to wearing hand-me-downs. Hermione, however, was a little awkward. But driven by a sense of historical mission, she temporarily put that awkwardness aside and focused on how to successfully gather intelligence.
The two boys went to Louise's room, while Hermione went to "Catherine's room"—which was actually Christa's own room. After changing their clothes, the three little ones came out with long sleeves, rolled-up trouser legs, and oversized shoes, looking extremely comical.
Louis and his three friends laughed for a long time, until they were out of breath, but finally stopped laughing under the unhappy gazes of the three little ones.
The three little ones glared angrily at the three unreliable senior students and their good brother Louis, put their hair into their respective compound soups, picked up their large cups, exchanged glances, and then, with an air of "the wind howls and the Yi River is cold," tilted their heads back and gulped it down.
Even before drinking the compound decoction, the three of them gave each other a "cheers".
Under everyone's watchful eyes, the three men's figures kept changing—like a lump of clay being molded and reshaped, until finally they became Jack, Percy, and Penelope respectively.
"Quite similar," Louis clapped his hands, and the other three joined in. He looked at them and said with a chuckle, "But if Harry took off his glasses, he'd look even more like him."
"Oh...oh!" Harry belatedly put his glasses in his pocket.
"I need to remind you, try not to talk too much with those few friends who are close to them... lest you give yourself away," Louis kindly advised.
Then he looked at the three senior students: "You can also tell them what happened today, add some details, and see if there's anything they need to pay attention to, so they don't not know what to do... Good heavens, thank goodness it's evening class, otherwise I really wouldn't know what to do."
Percy and his two companions nodded and walked toward the three little ones who had transformed into their likenesses, feeling a strange unease in their hearts—which was actually a perfectly normal reaction. It was only natural for a normal person to feel uncomfortable seeing someone who looked exactly like them.
After much difficulty, the three little ones reluctantly recounted the important events of the day and what they were supposed to do. Under the eager gazes of the four people, they straightened their chests and walked outside.
"Oh, right," Louis called out to them, "Remember, don't eat dinner in the auditorium, just eat in my office."
After saying that, he waved his hand, indicating that they could leave: "Good luck to you, I'll be here waiting for your triumphant return."
The three older students looked excited, completely unaware of how much of a stain the three younger students would tarnish on their image.
Leaving aside how the three upperclassmen began their thrilling adventure in the Mirror World, let's just say that the three little ones left Louise's office and headed towards Lockhart's Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. Along the way, they almost unconsciously walked to the Room of Requirement on the eighth floor, but thankfully Hermione realized what was happening, thus avoiding a blunder of going the wrong way.
"Wait a minute!" Ron's brilliant mind started flashing again: "I have a somewhat immature idea!"
"Tell me, tell me your 'immature' thoughts." Hermione stretched out both hands, gently hooking her middle and index fingers together to put quotation marks around the words "immature."
Yes, "not very mature" in English is two words: "immature idea".
"We can deliberately be late and get Professor Lockhart to put us in solitary confinement tonight!" Ron suggested excitedly.
To be honest, Ron's idea was actually pretty good; at least Hermione thought it was a great idea.
Of course, there was absolutely no sense of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" involved; really, there wasn't.
"I think so too." Harry, playing Jack, had a silly grin on his face, looking like he'd just been released from a mental hospital.
"I suggest you stop with that silly grin, Harry," Hermione whispered, then quickly corrected herself, "Oh, no, Jack, that big goofy grin of yours is totally out of character for Jack..."
Harry reluctantly put on a stern face, but Ron was still making faces at him from behind Hermione, and he couldn't help but burst out laughing again.
"Pfft, hahahaha..."
Hermione, holding Lockhart's biography, slammed it hard on Harry's back with a dull thud.
"Look! Look! The Ravenclaw woman is two-timing!"
An annoying voice came from above them. The three looked up and saw it was Pippi the Ghost.
"Shut up, Peeves!" Hermione threatened menacingly. "If you dare spout any more nonsense, I'll get Bloody Barrow to deal with you!"
"Why would a Ravenclaw girl know about this? Ah—" Peeves cried out and disappeared without a trace. It was clear that Bloody Barrow posed a real threat to him.
Hermione stood with her hands on her hips, watching Peeves slip away, and giggled.
Ron and Harry exchanged a glance and burst into laughter, unaware of the footsteps behind them and Professor McGonagall's voice.
"Miss Crevatt, Mr. Weasley, and Mr. Campbell," Professor McGonagall said sternly, "I think it should be Defense Against the Dark Arts class for fifth-year students right now. Why are you three standing here grinning like idiots instead of attending class?"
Hermione subtly gestured for them to be quiet by putting her hands behind her back, then spoke up herself, "Oh, sorry, Professor, we were just tricked by Peeves."
"Hmm, Peeves..." Professor McGonagall nodded to indicate that she understood. "I'll let it slide this time. Aren't you all going to Professor Lockhart's classroom for class right now?"
"Yes, Professor!" the three replied in unison, then turned and ran.
Professor McGonagall shook her head as she watched the three of them walk away, muttering to herself, "Why are they all starting to resemble Potter and his friends? Can habits be contagious?"
Then she smiled. It seems that she has been under a lot of pressure lately. She has been patrolling the corridor for several days in a row and has not been getting enough sleep. See, this is why she is hallucinating.
Professor McGonagall had no idea that the three people in front of her were actually Harry and his two friends in disguise...
How could the old-fashioned Professor McGonagall have imagined that a student would use Compound Herbal Elixir on campus and transform into someone else?
Along the way, they ran into quite a few acquaintances. Harry, with his sharp eyes, even spotted Hagrid carrying two large roosters toward the headmaster's office.
"Hagrid!" he greeted excitedly.
He regretted it as soon as he said hello—what if Hagrid wasn't familiar with this senior Jack?
Fortunately, Hagrid seemed to know him fairly well. He came over, greeted Percy first, then patted Harry on the shoulder with his large, fan-like hand, and said with a憨厚 smile, "Oh, it's Jack. Your father wrote to me the other day, asking how you're doing at school—sigh, you really are something. It's one thing to have a falling out with your family, but you haven't sent them a single word. I bet your parents are worried sick. If the Ministry of Magic hadn't sent them to keep an eye on Azkaban, they would have come to Hogwarts to see you long ago..."
"Listen to me, write a letter home right away, okay? Promise me..." Hagrid pursed his lips, looking encouragingly at Harry... who had become Jack.
