I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 143 Stop fighting!

Chapter 143 Stop fighting!

"Okay, Hagrid, thank you." Harry said sincerely, and Hagrid patted him on the shoulder with satisfaction and gave him an encouraging smile.

"Alright, I need to go talk to Professor Dumbledore about something, if you don't mind." With that, Hagrid lifted the dead chicken in his hand.

"Okay, go quickly, Hagrid." Harry breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't know what to do if things continued like this. He was really afraid that Hagrid would see through his true colors.

But Harry was overthinking it. Although Hagrid was a rough and tumble guy with a keen eye, he was currently preoccupied with having a good talk with Dumbledore about the dead chicken and had no time to think about anything else.

After saying goodbye to Hagrid, the three of them made their way to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom without any problems.

Lockhart had already begun his lesson, and seeing the three of them arrive late, he made a sound through his nose that resembled a chronic rhinitis: "Tee, because of your lateness, each of you will have two points deducted. Now... take your seats, I am about to tell you about my great adventure in Gambia."

"Wasn't it said we'd be put in solitary confinement?" Harry asked Ron through gritted teeth in a low voice.

Ron replied in a low voice, "I admit there was an element of gambling involved..."

"Alright, gentlemen, I won't lock you up for such a small matter." Lockhart flashed his signature greasy smile and winked greasyly at Hermione, who was disguised as Penelope, making Hermione's skin crawl.

"Where's Assistant Tifa, Professor Lockhart?" Harry asked casually.

"Oh, Assistant Instructor Tifa isn't feeling well, so I'll be teaching this class for now." Lockhart's eyes flashed with a hint of unease.

However, the three little ones didn't notice anything amiss. They casually found a place to sit down, opened their books, and prepared to listen to Lockhart's ramblings.

To be fair, Lockhart's lectures weren't like Professor Binns's, which made people drowsy; instead, they were full of fun. Yes, Lockhart's storytelling ability was superb. It was as if he had been specially trained. His control over emotions and the direction of the story were very precise. It's a real shame he's not a storyteller.

The entire class was captivated by Lockhart's story, including the trio. Ron was even emotionally invested in the plot Lockhart was telling, occasionally gasping when Lockhart found himself in danger, and giggling at Lockhart's eccentricities.

Time was ticking away, and Hermione was getting anxious. She looked at the two silly boys who were engrossed in Lockhart's story and subtly stepped on them one by one.

"What time is it? get out of class is almost over, and you're still in the mood to listen to his story?" Hermione growled in a low voice like a lioness. Harry and Ron seemed to see Professor McGonagall's spirit possessing Hermione at that moment.

Although it didn't match Penelope's appearance and temperament, the two of them really did have that illusion.

"Then what do you suggest we do? We're out of ideas." Ron decided to go for it—hermien would always be there to bail them out if they couldn't handle something.

Hermione glared at him and continued her plan in a low voice, "I don't have any good ideas either, but... there is one that's not a perfect solution, but I don't know if it will work."

"Go ahead," Ron urged in a low voice, "Don't keep me in suspense now, just tell me what your solution is..."

Harry nodded in agreement.

"Well... um." Hermione hesitated for a moment, then asked in a low voice, "Aren't you two afraid of losing face?"

"Face? What's that?" The two chuckled. "We've never worried about that, and besides, no matter what we do now, it's not our face that's being lost..."

"Oh right." Hermione was relieved now. She glanced at Lockhart, who was still engrossed in telling his story, and made up her mind: "In a little while, you two will pretend to fight... but you'll have to come up with your own reasons. I'll be in charge of breaking it up. That way... maybe Professor Lockhart will get angry and put us in solitary confinement."

"Great idea." Ron clenched his fist, chuckled, picked up a book from the table, stood up, and with a flourish, slammed one foot on the stool, slapping Harry on the back with a loud thud. "Jack! You shameless bastard, how dare you lay a finger on Penelope? Let me tell you! Penelope belongs to Percy Weasley!"

His voice was loud, drawing everyone's attention in the classroom, including Lockhart.

The students looked on with great interest, gossiping about the drama. This kind of story of two men fighting over one woman has always been one of the most interesting topics for people, both in ancient and modern times, and in different countries.

What's more, the main characters this time are actually two prefects—Percy is the prefect of Gryffindor, and Penelope is the prefect of Ravenclaw. You don't get to hear about these good students all the time.

At this moment, even Professor Lockhart's daily boastful little stories lost their appeal, and everyone watched the trio's gossip with anticipation, like a badger running wildly through a melon patch.

"Beauty belongs to the strong! Weasley!" Harry's dramatic instincts kicked in, and with one hand on his hip and the other pointing at Ron, who was disguised as Percy, he shouted, "Come on, I'm not afraid of you! Let's duel! Whoever wins, Penelope is theirs!"

"Come on then!" Under everyone's watchful eyes, "Percy" took off his robe, assumed a boxing stance, and gestured "Go for it" to "Jack".

Jack lunged and tackled Percy to the ground. Percy gritted his teeth and whispered a warning, "This is fake, don't use force."

"I understand," Harry replied softly, then shouted, "Weasley! Take this!"

He threw a straight punch at Percy's nose. The force of the punch was too great, and Percy saw stars and burst into tears and snot.

In his haste, Percy bent his knee and braced himself against Jack's crotch, sending him tumbling.

Harry clutched his crotch and yelled, "Hey... Weasley! You're playing dirty!"

That really hurt... Ron was so enraged by the blow that he couldn't control his strength.

If they had been just a little harsher, the Potter family line would have ended.

No, it's that Harry was actually turned into Harley by him.

Hermione, sensing something was wrong, quickly went over and pulled them both away: "You...you must stop fighting!"

The other students started making a fuss behind them, and a Slytherin upperclassman, not wanting to miss out on the fun, even reminded them from behind, "You can't kill anyone by fighting like that—"

Indeed, it's difficult to kill someone with just your fists; you need a magic wand, that's much more powerful.

After the initial commotion, Lockhart finally came to his senses. He personally intervened, pulling the two still-energetic teenagers apart, and asked with a frown, "What exactly happened? Mr. Weasley, and Mr. Campbell, can anyone tell me?"

"Ask him!" Harry pointed at Ron, looking defiant.

Ron just stared at Harry with wide eyes, not saying a word, clearly angry and furious.

"I'm sorry, Professor," Hermione quickly stepped forward, her face full of apology. "It's all my fault; I caused those two to fight because of me..."

Lockhart shook his head with a pained expression, and sighed, "I never thought our Miss Crivart had the potential to be Helen... Well, given the behavior of the three of you, Gryffindor will lose forty points, and Ravenclaw will lose ten—also, remember to come to my office tonight, the three of you. This was far too egregious; I'm definitely putting you in solitary confinement..."

Harry, Harry, and his two friends exchanged glances, their eyes filled with joy.

"Oh, you should be happy, of course." Lockhart grinned smugly. "I know this isn't much of a punishment, after all, it's a wonderful thing to be alone with a great genius writer... But I must remind you that the tasks in confinement are quite demanding, and I hope you'll regret what you did in class today—you need to be taught a heavy lesson."

"Understood, Professor," the trio replied in drawn-out voices, but all of them were filled with a sense of relief at having completed their mission.

And so, after class, the three of them returned to their respective lounges, and then, through Percy and the other two, used invisibility cloaks to transport them one by one to Louis's office.

To cover one's tracks, some necessary procedures must be followed.

Fortunately, the effects of their medication have worn off now.

"You'd never guess what we did today!" Ron exclaimed excitedly to Louis as he entered the office. "Aha, Harry and I got into a fight in class!"

"So you're pretty brave," Louis said, patting Ron on the shoulder.

"Just kidding, I'm super brave, okay..." Ron looked very confident, pointing his thumb at himself with an extremely arrogant air.

"And what was the final result?"

"Of course, it'll be solitary confinement for the three of us tonight..." Ron chuckled, looking like he was taking credit.

"I'm more curious, Ron," Percy asked, unable to contain his curiosity. "What exactly did you do to get Professor Lockhart to put you in solitary confinement?"

Ron suddenly looked embarrassed, as did Hermione and Harry. Seeing Ron hesitate and refuse to speak, Percy pressed, "You three haven't done anything bad, have you?"

He hasn't realized the seriousness of the situation.

Ron lowered his head, nudged Hermione, who tugged at her skirt, glared at him, and said, "Uh... I'll tell you."

"Actually... well, don't be angry when I tell you..."

"Don't be angry, what could we possibly be angry about?" Penelope was also intrigued. What kind of heinous things had these three done to warrant Professor Lockhart, who was usually so docile, locking them up in solitary confinement?

Hermione bit her lip and gave a dry laugh: "Hehe...haha...actually, the two of them pretended to argue because of me, and even fought in class..."

Percy couldn't help but burst out laughing, and Jack did too, slapping the back of his chair and laughing so hard he could barely breathe.

Penelope laughed along with him, after all, it was quite amusing to see two little boys fighting over a little girl.

After laughing for a couple of minutes, Percy suddenly sensed something was wrong.

"Wait, they used a compound decoction back then, and ended up looking like us..."

Louis added gleefully, "Yeah, so it wasn't Ron who beat up Harry for stealing Hermione, but Percy who beat up Jack for Penelope, hahaha..."

Percy's face visibly flushed red. After holding back for a while, like an enraged bull, he looked around but found nothing of value. He turned and pulled out the crystal sword from Louis's desk, shouting, "Ronald! I'll kill you!"

Louis quickly used a disarming spell to return the crystal sword to his hand. Percy, undeterred, leaped forward with agility, only to be dodged by Ron.

"Stop right there, Ronald!" Percy was getting impatient. This was damaging to the girl's reputation. Actually, Jack didn't care much; he wasn't that concerned. The main thing was that Penelope's face looked terrible.

"Alright, Percy," Penelope finally stepped in to smooth things over. "You can't blame them. If we hadn't used this method, all three of them wouldn't have been put in solitary confinement together."

Upon hearing this, Percy withdrew his fist.

Actually, he was reluctant to hit his own brother, but he was just trying to give Penelope an explanation.

"Hmph, I'll let you off this time for Penelope's sake, Ronald. Don't do anything that damages a girl's reputation in the future." Percy snorted and returned to his original seat.

"Got it, Percy." Ron knew he hadn't done anything right, so he winked and dragged out his reply in a drawn-out tone—actually, he and Percy didn't get along very well either, and he always felt that Percy was too much of a role model. Even though he realized his mistake, he was still somewhat unconvinced by Percy's lectures.

"Alright, it's nothing, Percy," Penelope began to smooth things over. She winked at Louis and said with great righteousness, "What does my personal honor or disgrace matter for His Highness's plan?"

"Uh, well, thank you for your hard work, Penelope." Louis nodded, acknowledging the words aloud.

The young scumbag felt no apprehension at Penelope's words.

"However, the next task will not be so easy." Louis put on a serious face and said to the three children, "As I said before, you are free to do whatever you want, but your mission objective is clear. You need to find out Lockhart's opinion on the Slytherin successor through your conversations. Whether you ask indirectly or indirectly, you must get the truth out of him."

"Hermione, you'll be in charge of this." Louis entrusted this main task to Hermione, but there was one more thing he didn't mention: all three of them had Hermione's brains.

After saying that, Louis chuckled and took out a few menu cards, placing them on the table: "Alright, now that we've finished talking business, it's time to eat... Just like in the auditorium, write down what you want to eat on the cards."
