I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 191 Simps are really something else

Chapter 191 Simps are really something else

"Your good headmaster only punished them because of you, or perhaps because of Emma," Sirius said bluntly. "After all, your mother helped him a lot back in school, and you know, we've never had a very good relationship with him."

"You bunch of filthy pigs," Snape said, making no attempt to hide his hostility. "All you do is band together and use violence against your classmates. That's all you're capable of..."

"You might not know this, but James and I didn't deliberately cause him trouble for no reason. This guy..." Sirius didn't answer him at all, looking at Snape with disgust as he said to Louis, "He's a staunch supporter of Voldemort's pure-blood ideology, always boasting about how much he loves Lily, but... do you really have her in your heart?"

That last sentence was said to Snape.

Snape was instantly enraged. He never expected Sirius to dare to defend him for being bullied by the four of them. He said, word by word, "You have no idea, you have no idea what I really did..."

"How much do you love her? Oh right, love her so much that you call her Mudblood?" Sirius laughed coolly, revealing a mouthful of white teeth—the cleaning was quite effective; I also got his teeth cleaned on the way.

Louis discovered that Sirius Black had an exceptionally sharp tongue...

Even if Ron and Draco were grouped together, they'd all be considered sweet-talking compared to him.

Snape was truly enraged. He stood up and leaped at Sirius, forgetting even to use magic, transforming into a berserker and engaging Sirius in hand-to-hand combat. But being a shut-in, he was no match for Sirius, and in just a few moves, Sirius struck him in the left eye socket with a lightning bolt, leaving him with a black eye.

Sirius didn't fare much better. Snape, that old silver coin, was clearly a veteran fighter who had been battling him for years. While taking a beating, he was also able to exchange blows, landing a punch in Sirius's left eye.

Dumbledore made no attempt to stop the two; instead, he earnestly discussed with Louis whether or not more sugar should be added to the moonberry juice. Headmaster Sprout and Headmaster Flitwick, in perfect unison, began discussing how the sunlight was plentiful today—but damn well, it's the middle of the night, couldn't you two be a little more attentive?

It seems that Professor Snape is indeed not very popular, probably because he is too biased. Only Professor McGonagall couldn't bear it and gestured to Lupin with her eyes, suggesting that it would be better to go up and separate the two of them.

"Professor, do you think we should separate them for now?" Louis was a little reluctant, after all, his own dean was at a disadvantage.

Most importantly, this way of fighting won't kill anyone.

"Youth is wonderful." Dumbledore didn't say anything, and continued to enjoy the raisins from Talador.

Professor Lupin stepped forward and used magic to separate the two. This guy was a cunning fellow; taking advantage of a moment when no one was looking, he even jabbed Snape twice into his stomach, which was hidden by thick clothing.

Even if it gets bruised, you won't be able to tell.

"Actually, you two should put aside your hatred," Louis shrugged. "After all, we still have a common enemy, and we both have a common goal to fight for, don't we?"

"Who shares his goal?" Sirius instinctively retorted, then exchanged a glance with Snape, turned away with mutual dislike, and gave a perfectly synchronized arrogant snort.

"Look, Sirius Black was protecting Harry, and Professor Snape, well, he was also protecting Lily's... that lady's child. Aren't they actually the same goal? Right?" Louis's ability to mediate and smooth things over was at least at the director level.

Sirius Black seemed quite relaxed about it, chuckling twice. "I'm fine with it, I'm just worried about your headmaster..."

Snape glanced at Sirius, then at Louis, and said hesitantly, "Excuse me, but I don't quite understand what 'letting go' means."

"Chris." Louis beckoned to Christa, and as she came over, he gestured for her to come closer. After giving her a few instructions, Christa walked over with a cup and a pot of hot water.

"Please hold this cup with both hands, Professor Snape," Lewis said.

Snape raised his eyelids and glanced at him sideways, thought for a moment, and then picked up the cup. Everyone looked over with great interest, wanting to see how Louis would teach Snape to put it down.

Louis, holding the kettle, began to pour water into the cup, filling it gradually until it overflowed. The scalding hot water flowed onto Snape's hand, burning him so much that he immediately let go of the cup.

"See? Actually, there's nothing in this world that you can't let go of." Louis sighed softly, displaying the air of a wise and compassionate sage: "When it hurts, you'll naturally let go."

Everyone in the room looked thoughtful, especially Dumbledore, who had stopped chewing his candy and stared blankly at the broken cup on the ground, seemingly lost in thought.

Snape, too, stared blankly at his slightly reddened hands for a moment, then abruptly stood up and, amidst the puzzled gazes of the crowd, swung his black robe like a bat and left Louis's office. After a while, he returned like the wind, sat down in front of Louis, and held a new cup in his hand.

The cup was quite simple, just an ordinary glass.

"Let's try again this time," Snape said slowly.

Louis nodded and added water to the cup again, but this time, the overflowing hot water flowed onto Snape's hand. Louis could clearly see that his eyelids twitched involuntarily due to the pain, but his hand did not loosen its grip at all, still holding the cup tightly.

This has left Lewis completely bewildered. "Holy crap, Professor Snape, what's going on?"

Of course, he also asked, "Isn't it hot, Professor Snape? This is boiling water..."

"Hot, of course it's hot." Professor Snape's expression was exceptionally resolute.

"It's hot, so why don't you let go?" Louis really didn't understand why she was holding on so stubbornly.

Professor Snape sighed softly and said slowly, "Because... this is the cup Lily gave me..."

Louis was stunned. Everyone in the office, whether it was the three heads of the house who had always been at odds with Snape, his archenemies Lupin and Sirius, or the three little Harry trio who hated him, all showed Snape great respect.

What a deeply affectionate person he was! Hermione's impression of Snape changed drastically overnight. Girls always feel a strong sense of sympathy for such affectionate people.

Moreover, in this era, deep affection has not yet been ruined.

After a moment, Louis came to his senses, put down the kettle, and slowly said:

"Simps are really something else..."

Sirius couldn't help but burst out laughing at this. Snape glared at him, then reached for another cup and placed it in front of Sirius: "Laughing so heartily, I suppose you can put it down just as easily, huh?"

Sirius Black looked at the cup, immediately stuffed it into his pocket, and hurriedly shook his head, saying, "No, no, no, it wasn't me, I didn't, I can't let it go, I can't let it go."

Snape forced a smile, said nothing, carefully put away the cup, and sat down to wait for the Ministry of Magic to arrive.

Dumbledore was now having some existential doubts, wondering if he should also make a trip to Nurmengard, as it seemed like it had been a long time since he had visited Gellert.

Fawkes was fast, and Fudge wasn't slow either. After receiving Fawkes's message, he immediately traveled along the Floo Network to Hogwarts. Pushing open the door, the first thing he saw was Sirius Black sitting upright in his seat.

"Oh, so you've caught Black, haven't you?" Fudge's expression was full of surprise. He looked at Dumbledore, then at Black. This was a great achievement. It seemed that his position as Minister of Magic could be further solidified through this.

But he clearly didn't notice Sirius's neat clothes, his bright white teeth, and his hair, which was no longer as greasy as Snape's.

Snape: Don't mention it...

Sirius grinned, then glared at Fudge: "Perhaps the Minister hasn't noticed, but I'm not being treated like a prisoner?"

"What do you mean by this, Black?" Fudge frowned in displeasure upon hearing this, thinking to himself, "You, an Azkaban fugitive, dare to speak to me, the Minister of Magic?"

"It's like this, Cornelius," Dumbledore suddenly said, "In our recent investigation, we've discovered a rather glaring issue: it wasn't Sirius Black who betrayed James and Lily back then, but someone else entirely. This person was also the mastermind behind the bombing of the Muggle streets, which killed twenty-three people."

"Who is it?" Fudge frowned. How could such an ironclad case be overturned? Didn't Black already admit to all the charges against him when he was arrested? Why did Dumbledore suddenly want to overturn the case today? Could it be that he wants to harm him and the Ministry of Magic?

Fudge was narrow-minded and had a very limited perspective. Over the years, he had been wary of Dumbledore, fearing that he might offend Dumbledore and be kicked out of the Ministry of Magic. He lived a life of constant anxiety and trepidation. However, he never considered that Dumbledore was not interested in power struggles.

If he had that kind of interest, he probably would have become the Dark Queen of the Saints long ago.

"Peter Pettigrew," Dumbledore replied, then told Fudge the truth.

Fudge swayed, seemingly overwhelmed by the news. He quickly broke into a manic laugh, waving his hand and exclaiming, "Impossible! Absolutely impossible! Peter Pettigrew's finger was found on the street! A finger! Peter Pettigrew was the victim in that attack; he's dead! He wasn't a criminal! Black couldn't possibly be a hero! He was an executioner! The executioner who killed Peter Pettigrew! And the murderer of those twenty-three Muggles!"

No one said a word; they just watched Fudge perform quietly.

It's not surprising that Fudge reacted so strongly. This was an ironclad case from twelve years ago. If it were discovered that it was a mistake by the Ministry of Magic that caused Black, who should have been a hero, to be wronged and suffer in Azkaban for twelve years, the Ministry of Magic would probably be torn down by the angry crowd.

There's a saying that goes something like this: people are always more willing to believe what they want to believe. Even Fudge, the head of the Ministry of Magic, is no exception. He simply cannot accept this fact—because it doesn't benefit the Ministry of Magic at all.

Snape shook his head and stepped aside, allowing Fudge to see Peter Pettigrew, who was bound and gagged.

"Look, Your Excellency, this is a rat we just caught today—Peter Pettigrew," Snape said sarcastically. "Of course, if you don't want to believe it, I think under the influence of my truth serum, Peter will tell everyone exactly what he's done."

Fudge was startled. He wasn't unfamiliar with Peter Pettigrew, and he wanted to pretend he didn't, but Snape's mention of the Veritable Fluid made him hesitate. He shook his head and voiced his doubts: "Then how did he get away from the explosion site? I mean, nobody saw him at the time."

"He is an illegal Animagus, Your Excellency." Snape gave a forced, sarcastic laugh.

Sirius Black actually loathed Snape's expression. In the past, when he and James had nothing to do, they would often pick on Snape and bully him, mostly because of his sarcastic tone and forced smile. This kid could always successfully provoke people with just a word or an expression. Saying he had a mocking face wasn't quite right, since he genuinely made people angry...

But now, Sirius inexplicably finds Snape somewhat agreeable.

As the saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Now that everyone has someone they dislike in common—Fudge—they don't seem to dislike each other as much anymore, especially since Snape's expression is clearly directed at Fudge.

Fudge took a deep breath and suppressed the urge to lash out. He knew that Snape, the Potions Master, was not someone to be trifled with, and he might need to ask him for help in the future.

In the magical world, potion masters are like alchemists in cultivation novels; it's best not to offend them if possible.

He nodded, indicating that he accepted the statement, and then looked at Peter Pettigrew, twitching the corner of his mouth: "Well then, if you don't mind, Professor Snape, please use some Truth Fluid. I still find it a little hard to believe... after all, it's just too far-fetched."

Snape stood up and took a small bottle out of his pocket.

The ruthless and taciturn man didn't say anything more to Fudge. He walked straight to Peter Pettigrew, pulled out the smelly Sirius sock that was stuffed in his mouth, and roughly poured the truth serum into his mouth.

It was partly due to personal grudges; he poured out an entire bottle.
