I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 21 had an extremely negative impact.

Louis practically drifted into the cafeteria for his meal, completely ignoring the rest of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. [Google Search]

Sitting at the table, he idly forked at some vegetable leaves, his mind already drifting to the special meal he had prepared for Sunday night.

"Hey, hey, Louis, bro, wake up." Harry and Ron's concerned voices rang in his ears.

"Oh? Hmm." Louis then realized it was time for a quick meal.

"What's wrong with you? You've been like this ever since you came out of class," Harry asked with concern.

"It's not Professor Quirrell's after-school tutoring, I really... don't want to go."

Louis lost his dream.

"How cool would it be to have tutoring from the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?" Ron's little face was full of longing, and his tone was the same: "Just think about it, Professor Quirrell is a man who has fought vampires, do you think he's weak? Louis, you should be happy."

Louis rolled his eyes at Ron: "Si tacuisess, philosophus mansisses."

Ron glanced at Harry, then at Louise, his face full of confusion: "What are you talking about?"

A cute voice chimed in at just the right moment: "If you shut up, you'll look a little smarter."

Ron turned around and saw a little girl with a messy head and big front teeth looking at him.

It's Hermione Granger.

"It's you." Ron said with annoyance, "Damn it, how can you be so rude?"

"This is the translation of what Mr. Mountbatten said." Hermione rolled her eyes. "He spoke Latin, a very ancient language."

"Incredible!" Ron repeated his usual catchphrase, "Louis, you even understand ancient languages?"

Harry chuckled beside him.

"What are you laughing at?" Ron asked, puzzled.

"fine."

Harry suppressed a laugh, thinking about Ron's drastically different attitudes toward Hermione and Louise, and then chuckled softly again.

"It's just a language, isn't it? Miss Granger knows it too, doesn't she?" Louis smiled and nodded to Hermione. "Good afternoon, Miss Granger."

"You...you're here, Your Highness." Hermione was no longer as composed as she had been when she first interrupted; instead, she seemed somewhat nervous. She was from a middle-class Muggle background and knew Louis's identity all too well.

"I hope you won't take offense at my intrusion."

"How could that be?" Louis chuckled gently. "Just call me Louis. This is Hogwarts, and we're all classmates now." He extended his hand, and Hermione shook it.

Their hands touched briefly before parting, and Louise said gently, "I hope we can be friends, clever girl from Gryffindor."

"Louis...," Hermione said, still a little hesitant. "It's an honor to be your friend."

"What can she possibly accomplish?" Ron asked, holding two chicken legs with a look of disgust.

Hermione rolled her eyes and ignored him.

"Hey, your little animal world has a new playmate?" The senior's voice rang out behind Louis. "Hmm, a beaver? It really does fit the image of your little animal world."

Louis turned around and saw that his senior was wearing a white shirt with a green ribbon tied in a bow at the collar. Over it was a black wool coat with green trim, and she wore a black pleated skirt that reached just above her knees; beneath the skirt were two slender, beautiful legs encased in black stockings, and a pair of brown leather shoes on her feet. Louis secretly admired her, thinking, "What a proud and aloof beauty from Slytherin."

The senior student was still wearing the same white lace gloves she never wore before.

"I'm not a beaver!" Hermione exploded, standing up and retorting angrily.

Ron quickly and quietly tugged at her sleeve, whispering, "Are you crazy? This is the most amazing upperclassman in all of Hogwarts... Just call her Beaver, it's not like she'll lose a piece of her flesh."

There's one more thing I haven't said: if you keep doing this, you'll eventually lose a piece of your flesh.

Despite the banter and jokes, when it really comes down to it, Ron still sides with Hermione.

"Oh, the little beaver is actually angry." A cold glint flashed in Catherine's emerald eyes.

"I'm not a little beaver!" Hermione was furious. She bit her lip with her big teeth, turning her pink lower lip pale. Tears welled up in her eyes and were about to fall.

Louis put down his knife and fork and said seriously, "Alright, Catherine, say no more... Come with me, I have something to tell you."

"Oh? Our little deer is reluctant to part with his Miss Beaver?"

Despite her continued nagging, Catherine followed Louis out of the auditorium.

"Bully! She really is a bully!" Hermione cried, tears welling in her eyes, as she accused Ron and Harry.

"Levicorpus!"

"Protego!"

Catherine's curse was blocked by Louis, who was prepared. She glanced at Louis with indifferent eyes, her dissatisfaction obvious.

"Enough! Wore!" Louis frowned as he looked at the senior in front of him. He really didn't expect that Catherine would dare to cast a curse on her classmates in the auditorium.

Professor McGonagall stormed over, her stern gaze fixed on Catherine. Her lips twitched, and after a long pause, she reprimanded her harshly, "This is extremely offensive! Miss Worley, because of your actions, Slytherin will have fifty points deducted!"

The Slytherins erupted in a commotion, as if a hornet's nest had been stirred up.

Hermione collapsed into her chair, utterly terrified. She covered her face with her hands and sobbed uncontrollably, large tears streaming down her face as if they were free. Ron patted her shoulder, offering quiet words of comfort.

A cold smile played on Catherine's lips as she turned and walked to the other side of the aisle. The little snakes, who had been whispering amongst themselves, instantly fell silent.

Louis sat down next to Hermione, thinking for a long time about how to comfort her, and finally could only say, "I'm sorry, Hermione."

"It's okay, this has nothing to do with you, Louise," Hermione said, sobbing as she tried to comfort Louise. "You're a victim too, don't be so hard on yourself."

"My friend has a terrible temper... It takes real courage for you to stand up to her. You know, many older students don't have that kind of guts," the straight-laced Louis comforted her. "But actually, she's cold on the outside but warm on the inside..."

At this point, Louis himself laughed: "That's such a jerk. Even if someone is cold on the outside but warm on the inside, they shouldn't treat others like that."

He blinked. "Why don't you practice spells with us? Maybe one day you can take revenge yourself. Just imagine how you'll hang that wicked woman upside down with the Bell of Venus."
