I'm the King of Curry at Hogwarts

Chapter 78 Even the Japanese

Chapter 78 Even the Japanese

"Hey, isn't that our Louis?" George was the first to spot Louis. 𝒔𝒕𝒐520.𝒄𝒐𝒎●

"We've all heard about your glorious deeds, don't worry," Fred quickly chimed in, taking over George's words.

"The Queen of Slytherin probably won't do anything to you, after all, you're her beloved fawn," George said. The two exchanged a glance and said in unison, "She'll just beat you half to death."

"That's enough..." Louis said with a dark expression as he walked over and sat down next to Harry.

"It's Harry's birthday today, so it's best not to talk about such bloody topics," Ron added. "Let Louis just keep fooling himself for one last night."

Louis: "..."

Just as Louis was wondering what to say, the restaurant door was pushed open again, and there was his grandfather striding in.

The red-haired brothers and Harry immediately tensed up. Although they didn't know what Old Louis's identity meant, the old man's aura of being in a high position for a long time and commanding troops was not to be underestimated.

Almost instantly, Grandpa transformed from a high-ranking elder into a kind and gentle old neighbor.

"Why are you so nervous? You must be the Weasley brothers," Grandpa greeted them kindly. "I'm friends with your grandfather. The last time I saw your father, he wasn't even as big as this little freckled boy."

The freckles refer to Ron.

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, he sat down in the main seat, glancing at Louis and then at Diana.

"I heard from Mr. Bill that it's a birthday party today. I imagine we won't just be eating these two dishes, will we?" As he spoke, Grandpa picked up the plate and knife. "That's probably not how the Mountbatten family treats their guests."

Fred couldn't help but burst out laughing, and George subtly stepped on his foot under the table.

"You've practically stomped his shoes flat." Grandpa noticed George's little act. "What's wrong with young people these days? Back when I was your age, I dared to chat up noble ladies right in front of the King..."

Yes, you don't even consider your own status. You're related to royalty all over Europe. It would be strange if you were nervous.

But that doesn't stop him from entertaining the children.

"Did she say yes?" Harry was more open than the others.

Grandpa laughed and said, "Before I could even say anything, her male companion secretly kicked me."

"But it's not a bad deal, being in a cubicle on the second floor..."

Diana coughed twice suddenly.

Grandpa also realized that Harry Ron was too young and that such inappropriate things should not be said to children.

"What's wrong? Tell me," Ron asked, bewildered.

"You're too young, Ronald," George and Fred said in unison, their quick wits already indicating what had happened.

I have the utmost respect for my grandfather.

The respect I used to show was just a subconscious respect for someone in a superior position. Now it's different; it's now out of respect for a seasoned veteran in the world of romance.

Grandpa noticed it too, and he was very pleased with the twins' respect for him. He praised them repeatedly, saying they were good kids, and even said he was going to teach them his secrets to picking up girls.

"Aren't you going to teach Louis?" Ron asked, looking rather clueless.

Grandpa glanced at his good grandson with disdain, his tone utterly contemptuous: "I don't have a good grandson who can be manipulated by a woman."

The implication is that you're too incompetent and don't deserve to be my grandson.

Louis's heart was suddenly filled with sorrow.

Come to think of it, after so many years of being a master of romance, Grandpa suddenly found that his grandson was being manipulated by a woman.

This feeling is like... like Zhu Di looking at Baozong, quite like the feeling of a tiger king and his dog grandson.

You're so disappointing!

Louis tapped his cup with a long face, and servants filed in, setting out various dishes for them.

Because Diana knew that Ron and Harry were not familiar with dining etiquette, she had instructed Mr. Askin in advance that today's meal was just a normal family dinner, with a few dozen simple dishes to make do, and nothing too complicated.

There were no servants in the restaurant to wait on you. For people who don't know proper dining etiquette, having servants to wait on them would actually be a hassle.

Needless to say, the Weasleys were no exception, as was Harry. Grandpa didn't seem to mind, as he was used to being self-sufficient.

After all, Grandpa was a tough guy who had seen crocodiles baring their teeth in the Southeast Asian war zone back then, unlike Cousin Charlie who was used to living a life of luxury.

Back in the day, Grandpa was a clean and hygienic man who lived with Third Brother for many years.

After taking a couple of bites in silence, Grandpa put down his knife and fork and suggested, "Let's sing a birthday song. Isn't it little Harry with glasses celebrating his birthday? It's kind of boring..."

The suggestion was accepted by everyone, especially Tom and Jerry.

The two rascals ran to where the piano was, and Jerry even propped up a tiny violin that he'd somehow found on his shoulder.

Mr. Bill and his servants brought out a custom-made cake with twelve candles on it, representing Harry's twelfth birthday.

As the melodious music began, everyone clapped along and sang "Happy Birthday" to Harry.

"Thank you, thank you." Tears welled up in Harry's eyes. This was the first time anyone had celebrated his birthday since he was born.

"Make a wish," Grandpa patted his shoulder.

Harry nodded emphatically, took a deep breath, and blew out all the candles.

Grandpa picked up the knife, cut off a large piece and handed it to Harry, then cut off another piece, looked at Louis, and handed it to him.

Louis thought Grandpa meant it for him and quickly reached out to take it, but Grandpa suddenly pulled his hand back and called out towards the piano, "Tom, Jerry, Grandpa's darlings... come and eat some cake."

Louis: So love will disappear, right?

Grandpa clearly had a problem with him, so he only gave him the last piece.

"Grandpa, so love will disappear, right?" Louis said with a bitter face.

"Hmph..." Grandpa scrambled some cream into his mouth, pouted, and said, "I can't find a reason to like you right now."

"..." Louis started to argue: "This is a healing era. We should seek common ground while reserving differences, instead of nitpicking. We should discover the strengths of others instead of dwelling on their mistakes every day... In fact, everyone has strengths, Grandpa, as long as you are willing to look for them."

The Weasley brothers and Harry were filled with awe. No wonder the Weasleys managed to win over the Queen of Slytherin, while they themselves remained single.

Look at that mouth of hers, she could talk a dead person back to life...

Grandpa laughed heartily, then raised an eyebrow and pointed at Louis with his finger: "Okay, okay, um... except for the Japanese."

Good grief, they never seem to forget to bring up insults against Japan, do they?

"Even the Japanese," Diana added, completely unaware that the word "even" was more lethal than "except for."

----------

I need to talk to you about something.

It's still okay to keep reading now, but it's still a little way from reaching the level of Sanjiang.

I guess we can only wait and see if it goes on sale next week.

I'm shamelessly asking all the kind brothers who read this far to keep reading to the latest page every day for the next week. I'm truly grateful for your continued support; without you all, I wouldn't have made it this far.

_(ω」∠)_ I'd like to ask you all again, my dear brothers, to support my reading of Dragon Girl every day. Your support is my motivation to create.

Of course, you can leave a message or join the group to share any suggestions you have. I will definitely adopt any reasonable ones.
