Chapter 75 1 Degrees
Chapter 76 Ten Thousand Degrees (Seeking First Subscription)
"The stabilizing shell can hold aluminum shavings in a small space, preventing them from scattering. It can also lock heat inside."
As the temperature rises, the aluminum shavings begin to vaporize and ionize, causing a sharp increase in pressure within the shell. However, this can be stabilized by injecting enough magical energy into the stabilizing shell.
Einstein changed his cup, poured himself a fresh cup of coffee, and didn't say a word. Char stood quietly to the side, listening.
Tesla picked up a molten aluminum pellet from the chalk slot under the blackboard and casually tossed it into the trash can.
"So the task now is clear: to fix the parameters of this scheme. Aluminum shavings particle size, stabilizer shell size, capacitor energy storage, discharge pulse width—every variable must be measured."
Einstein, holding a coffee cup, leaned against a porch pillar, glanced at the variable table on the blackboard, and then at Tesla.
"Are you planning to try each parameter one by one?"
Tesla tossed the chalk back into the box. "What else?"
Einstein didn't answer. He turned around, opened Tesla's case, took out the computer, and placed it on the alchemy table. The screen lit up, and he brought up an interface, pushing it in front of Tesla.
"Maxwell's equations, the heat conduction equation, the plasma magnetohydrodynamic model," Einstein pointed to the screen. "You only need to input the boundary conditions, and it can calculate them all."
Tesla stared at the screen for two seconds, then raised an eyebrow.
"One of the hallmarks of humankind's entry into civilization is the learning to use tools," Einstein added slowly, a slight, almost imperceptible smile playing on his lips.
Tesla opened his mouth as if to say something, but in the end remained silent. He simply made way for Einstein.
Einstein didn't say anything more, but instead typed in the parameters. The curve on the screen jumped a few times, and a results box popped up:
[Particle size 140 to 180 micrometers, stable shell diameter 9.5 cm, shell wall 0.4 mm, four capacitors connected in parallel, charging capacity 3.4...]
Seconds. Theoretical range 26.5 meters...
Tesla copied the results onto the blackboard and then took the computer off the alchemy disk.
He then took out some aluminum bullets from his pocket and placed them on the plate. In a flash of light, these aluminum bullets were smelted into aluminum shavings.
Tesla took a pair of tweezers from his box and used them to pick up a small clump of aluminum shavings. He put the shavings into his palm.
Then, he began to use magic to wrap the aluminum shavings into a sphere.
The aluminum shavings were supported by the magic field and evenly spread on the inner wall of the shell.
Then Tesla activated the third rune, carving an extremely fine magical circuit on the inner wall, which was the discharge channel.
Five seconds later, a semi-transparent sphere floated in his palm, with gray aluminum shavings evenly distributed inside.
"Char," Tesla shouted, "you build the capacitor."
Char came to Tesla's side and began to construct magic capacitors. Four large magic capacitors floated around the sphere in Tesla's palm.
With a flash of light, the energy stored in the four magical capacitors was filled.
Char issued the command to input the current.
"Sizzle sizzle sizzle"
A bluish-white electric arc exploded inside the shell, instantly turning the aluminum shavings a blinding white. The shell wall bulged violently.
In that instant, Char and Tesla almost simultaneously stopped breathing.
Einstein reacted with astonishing speed, raising his hand to apply a "stabilizing" effect to the shell the instant the shell expanded.
The expansion stopped, and the rampant energy was bound within the sphere by an unreasonable force.
As Einstein took over the plasma, Tesla finally imposed a "conditional judgment" on the sphere, requiring it to come into contact with matter and release it.
"Char!" Tesla shouted.
Without hesitation, Xia locked onto the sphere with his mental energy and instantly stored it in his storage space.
After a brief silence.
Tesla slowly exhaled a breath of stale air and raised his hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead. Char's back was also soaked with cold sweat.
If Einstein had reacted even slightly slower, the shell would have ruptured, the plasma would have exploded, and none of them would have survived.
That's a temperature of several thousand degrees or even tens of thousands of degrees.
"Give it a try?" Tesla asked.
Tesla went into the villa, and when he came out, he found a steel plate, about one centimeter thick. He then took a few steps back, took out the high-spectrum goggles from the box, put them on, and shouted at Char.
"That's fine."
Xia didn't speak, but just stared at the steel plate. The plasma ball could only be maintained for a very short time; he had to throw it out the moment it was taken out of his storage space.
He took a deep breath, and the plasma ball hovered to his right in the next instant before silently flying toward the steel plate.
There was no sound, no light.
"boom!!"
A short, sharp explosion rang out. A wave of heat spread in all directions from the point of blast, and Char instinctively raised his arm to shield his face. The air was scorching hot, carrying a smell like burning electrical wires.
The smoke and dust cleared.
On the one-centimeter-thick steel plate, there was a hole the size of a fist. The edges of the hole had been melted by high temperature, and the molten iron had solidified into dark red nodules, hanging on the back of the steel plate.
Char walked over and bent down to take a look.
The hole went right through, and a charred crater appeared on the wall behind the steel plate.
"It penetrated," he said, his voice a little dry.
Tesla didn't speak, but simply stood there, staring at the data displayed on his goggles.
"Around 10,000 degrees," he said.
Char turned his head. "What?"
"Plasma core temperature." Tesla took off his goggles, glanced at the steel plate, and said, "That should be enough to deal with that thing."
"But the energy consumption is too high," Xia frowned. "The magic output has exceeded one thousand. How long would it take to mass-produce these?"
"No need, two or three days will be enough to fill your space," Tesla said.
Char was taken aback. He instinctively looked at Einstein. "You've broken through?"
"Have you forgotten something?"
Tesla silently handed the hyperspectral goggles to Char, then channeled his mental energy into the badge in front of him, opening the purchase page.
I found "Liquefied Ether Magic Replenishing Solution" in the supplies section, immediately increased the quantity to the maximum of ninety-nine bottles, and then looked at Char.
"We have money."
"Hey!"
A cry of an eagle echoed at the doorway, causing the space around it to distort slightly.
The next moment, several cardboard boxes appeared at the doorway.
Tesla stepped forward and opened the box, inside which were neatly stacked mana restoration potions.
"Let's begin." Tesla took out a bottle of medicine and tossed it to Char.
Char caught it in a flurry, almost dropping it on the ground.
Einstein glanced at the coffee pot lying to one side, sighed, and said, "Looks like I'll have to buy coffee by the case for the next few days."
