Such a dense and rapid attack by heretics from hell has already defied common sense, and no one dares to say for sure that the gates of hell will not become a regular disaster.

Tyrion's face gradually turned deathly pale.

Hextech pressed his advantage: "Even if the Gates of Hell don't open, are you really going to just stand by and watch an organization that's heading towards heresy grow stronger?"

"Do you want to add another stain to your resume—a record of condoning the development of cults?"

Tyrion said in a deep voice, "I will not allow this to happen!"

"I can step in and warn the Tuttle family!"

"This is the weakest and most useless method," Hex bluntly exposed his wishful thinking.

"Your concessions and warnings will not have any deterrent effect; they will only embolden the Tuttle family, making them believe that you are cowardly and only care about the big picture."

"They are the uncrowned kings of Newcastle. Once they figure out your personality and bottom line, they will only expand their power infinitely and completely undermine your authority."

"In the end, you can only bow your head and compromise time and time again, letting them do as they please."

"I will never compromise!" Tyrion roared, slamming his fist on the table and rising abruptly. A white light flashed in his eyes, followed by a sudden burst of holy fire.

But he quickly came to his senses and realized that he was just raging in a fit of impotence.

He took several deep breaths, suppressing the anxiety and anger in his heart, his expression full of helplessness.

"Do you expect me to take this evidence directly to the church's tribunal?"

"The Tuttle family also wields considerable influence in London, and Mueller Tuttle is a close friend of several high-ranking bishops in London."

"I don't have much of a chance of winning."

He had always been wary of Muller's reputation and the power of the entire Tuttle family.

But he never imagined that Rothschild was just a junior member of the family, a rising star of the church in the eyes of outsiders, and not the current head of the Tuttle family.

As the Bishop of Newcastle, it was entirely reasonable, justifiable, and legitimate for him to investigate a fifth-rank priest suspected of heresy.

Tyrion's Adam's apple bobbed, and the hesitation and apprehension in his eyes vanished completely, replaced by a resolute determination.

He looked up at Hextech and said, slowly and deliberately, "I understand."

"Mr. Hex Edria, I authorize you to mobilize the Church's Crusaders, who will lead the expedition to the Tuttle family estate to apprehend Rothschild Tuttle!"

"I understand." Hex smiled.
