The Bizarre Adventure of the Warhammer Guard

Hundreds of Thunderhawk gunships took off from the fleet, braving the anti-aircraft fire sweeping across the battle moon, and headed straight for the planned landing point, ready to engage in ground combat.

This landing operation deployed hundreds of Terminators and nearly a thousand Astartes, along with countless Mechanicus Legions and Guardians, all prepared to fight the Orcs.

Leon and Chris were curiously inspecting their new equipment aboard a Thunderhawk gunship. They were now encased in heavy armor, their right hands firmly attached to a heavy twin-barreled explosive gun, and their left hands gripping a finely crafted power sword.

They could feel the immense power contained within the entire suit of armor.

"The Hades-type Terminator Armor," Loken's steady voice explained from the side. "It combines firepower and protection. Against it, these orcs' attacks are nothing to fear."

Loken also wore the Hades-type Terminator armor, but unlike them, his left hand was equipped with a power claw.

Seeing his two comrades-in-arms present, Loken was reminded of the elite veterans of the First Company of the Sons of Horus, when they were fighting for the same goal.

"boom……"

The sudden and violent explosion caused the entire Thunderhawk to tremble violently. The explosion came from the Thunderhawk's engine, followed by a piercing alarm sounding in the cabin.

The entire Thunderhawk could only glide and make an emergency landing on the surface of the combat moon.

These orc lads, whose shooting accuracy was pitifully low, were somehow blessed by some god, as they managed to control the defensive cannons and fire a single shell that directly hit the engine of the Thunderhawk gunboat that Loken and his men were riding in.

"Watch out, keep your balance," Loken's voice came. "Beware of the impact!"

Losing power, the Thunderhawk crashed into the orc fortress they were repairing like a meteorite. Fortunately, the Terminator armor's strength allowed the three warriors to withstand this deadly forced landing.

Before the thick smoke had even cleared, the green-skinned orcs quickly recovered from their surprise at the sudden appearance of the Space Marines. They dropped the broken tools they were hammering away, let out deafening battle cries, and fired at the Space Marines.

Bullets clanged and clattered against the Terminator armor, sparks flying, but to no avail.

Without a word, the three men simultaneously raised their arms in perfect unison, unleashing a deafening explosion that instantly created a metal storm that tore them to shreds.

The surviving orc boys screamed and fled from them.

"Ranger," Elpis's voice came through the communication device.

"Safe landing, sir," Loken replied, glancing at his and Elpis's positions on the oracle. They were located deep within a complex, alien architectural structure, several kilometers away.

"Rendezvous with me," Elpis commanded. "A huge energy reading has been detected; that should be their core area."

"Yes, ma'am."

Loken took the lead, his power claws propelling him forward amidst leaping arcs of electricity.

He smashed open the dilapidated door and rushed into a long corridor pieced together from countless scrap metal, pipes, and discarded parts.

Leon and Chris followed closely behind, immediately positioning themselves on the left and right flanks respectively, their twin-barreled grenades blocking any possible angles from which the residence might be attacked.

As soon as they entered the corridor, countless green-skinned orcs attacked from all directions, emerging from the ceiling, from holes, from the floor, from any possible place.

Loken fired as he swung his power claws, tearing any orc who dared to approach to shreds.

Leon and Chris positioned themselves on either side of Loken, using precise firepower to clear out the orcs surrounding them from both flanks.

These orcs seemed endless, forming waves of green that constantly assaulted the Space Marines.

They grinned and roared happily, their long-range weapons firing incessantly, bullets bouncing erratically in the narrow corridor.

They often accidentally shoot their own teammates, but this does not diminish their enthusiasm in the slightest.

The three transformed into a silent yet efficient killing machine, steadily advancing through the intricate and dilapidated corridors, each step accompanied by the screams of orcs and the sound of metal being torn apart.

Finally, the three arrived at Elpis's side and saw thousands of orc warrior corpses of varying sizes surrounding him.

After reuniting, they continued their journey. With a large gate blasted open, they reached their destination.

It was a huge stone cave that had been excavated and modified by orcs. At the very back stood a massive portal made of scrap metal, energy conduits, and other unidentified objects.

An unstable vortex of green energy flowed through the door, and with each fluctuation, new orcs emerged from it.

The Greenskinned Orc army is using this as its core, continuously reinforcing the entire battlefield.

Directly in front of the portal stood an orc nearly six meters tall. He was clad in heavy armor welded from warship fragments, and wielded a giant axe in his right hand. A group of strong orcs, each four meters tall, were gathered around him.

At this moment, the Imperial Fist Chapter Commander Kurland and the Iron Knights Chapter Commander Malfoy, leading ten Terminators, were locked in battle with these orcs.

Kurland draws the attention of the orc leader, while Malfoy and his Terminator squad attempt to destroy the portal.

The orc leader came up to Kurand and launched a deadly charge. Kurand hurriedly dodged to the side, but was hit on the shoulder by the orc leader and could only stagger backward.

Then, it swung its massive axe, aiming directly at Kurland. The speed was so great that Kurland couldn't see it at all and could only parry with his sword.

His weapon clashed with the axe, producing a tremendous roar that shattered the orc's giant axe into pieces. The force of the blow was so great that Kurand knelt down.

When he struggled to his feet, he found that his power sword had turned into a blackened fragment.

The orc bent down, grabbed Kurland's arms with its huge fists, lifted him up, and then pulled his arms apart, attempting to tear Kurland apart.

Kurland's armor emitted a series of alarms, with red warning lights flashing inside his helmet.

At that moment, Elpis arrived beside Kurland, leaped, and swung his spear at the orc leader's head. The orc leader could only shake off Kurland, crossing his arms to block Elpis's leaping attack.

"roar!"

A tremendous roar came from the orc leader's mouth, and the Spear of the Moon left huge wounds on its hands, nearly severing its arms.

The orc leader, in pain, kicked at Elpis. Elpis dodged to the side and then swiftly rammed into the orc's only supporting thigh, causing the orc's massive body to crash to the ground.

Elpis spun around, the Spear of the Moon spinning and gathering power in his hand, drawing a perfect arc in the air, the tip of the spear piercing through the neck armor and directly into his neck.

In an instant, a massive amount of green blood gushed out.

Immediately afterwards, another loud bang was heard as the molten metal bomb exploded, directly destroying the energy supply to the orc portal.

Elpis looked toward the portal, where the green energy flickered and dimmed, and he could vaguely see an orc holding a pipe at the other end of the portal, pulling down his top hat.
