Witch Training Manual: My Water Magic Is Wrong
Chapter 153 Request for Treatment
Hena carried the cat up the steps.
Lance followed behind her, and as soon as he stepped onto the first step, Wayne's hand reached out and blocked his chest perfectly.
Lance stopped in his tracks.
"You can't go in."
Lance lowered his head, looking at the hand crossed across his chest. He swallowed hard and explained to Wayne.
"Bishop Wayne, I am Lady Shurasa's attendant..."
"I know who you are."
Wayne interrupted him.
Wayne's gaze didn't fall on him, but instead swept over the area behind him. Gregory stood at the bottom of the steps, and several other paladins stood further back; all of them were swept over by Wayne's gaze.
Wayne looked at Lance.
"Is His Holiness the Pope doing well in the capital?"
The paladins below the stage changed their expressions.
Gregory stood behind, his mouth moving faster than his brain.
"It's...it's alright."
He regretted it as soon as he said it.
Lance turned his head and glared at him fiercely.
Just then, Lance's panel appeared.
[Lancelot - Biographical Information]
[Identity: Former Paladin Leader, Rank 4.]
[Past: He was once captivated by the mutual support among paladins. Now, he has gradually fallen in love with Shurasa, the human trafficker whose soul has been stuffed into a slime and whose true form is being worn and paraded around by Hena. He enjoys the feeling of Shurasa conquering him.]
[Note: He has two things on his mind right now. One is wondering just how unfathomable you are, and the other is figuring out how to save Shurasha. To be honest, he regrets summoning the demon a little. But what he regrets even more is having his sister help "take care" of his fiancée. She kept taking care of her, and then she ran away. Both of them ran away.]
[Also: He's considering the possibility of failing to save Shurasha. However, he might not refuse Shurasha in her slime form. After all, his taste is truly baffling.]
Lance's panel was still hanging in mid-air, and before Wayne could finish reading the last line, Hena spoke up.
"All of you, wait outside."
Lance's foot hovered in mid-air before he slowly pulled it back down the steps, as did the others behind him.
The church doors were closed.
Only Wayne and Hena remained in the front hall.
No, there's another cat. The black cat in Hena's arms was curled up in a ball, its eyes half-open, actually glancing at Wayne out of the corner of its eye.
The panel popped up.
Lilith
[Identity: Abyss Demon, Hena's close friend. Goal: To make the world more depraved. Specific execution plan: None at the moment. Not because there is no plan, but because it's impossible to come out.]
[Status: Holy Light Erosion.]
[Note: Although your water magic has spread throughout the demon world, very few demons actually believe it. Even with Hena's eloquent explanations, Lilith remains unconvinced. She doesn't hold much hope that you can provide her with any experience or heal her.]
[Note 2: This is a demon with dreams.]
The two entered the consultation room.
Wayne sat down opposite Hena.
"Tell me! What exactly is the reason you came to see me?"
"Lilith is injured."
Wayne didn't say anything.
Hena continued, "The seal is loosening, and the holy light is eroding her body. She can't withstand it herself, and I can't help her either."
"So you want me to treat her?"
"Yes."
"Your water magic can purify curses and might even suppress the aura of holy light, allowing the seal within her body to stabilize again."
"You know, I'm a clergyman."
Hena's tone was calm.
"I know, but she has never harmed anyone."
Wayne looked at her.
"Never harmed him?"
Hena paused, as if considering her words.
"She never harmed innocent people." She paused, then added, "Those people wanted what she did in St. Hildecan."
Wayne took a deep breath.
"Alright, let's begin the treatment."
Hena didn't expect Wayne to agree so quickly.
"Mr. Wayne, you've agreed?"
"Hmm." Wayne leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers on the table. "I'm not a pedantic priest. Besides, she has a wonderful dream."
Hena was stunned.
"A wonderful dream?"
"To make the world more depraved," Wayne said, letting his thoughts wander. "This dream may sound a bit frivolous, but at least it's honest. It's much better than those who claim to be pure and noble but are filthy than anyone else behind the scenes."
Lilith's eyes lit up.
"Father, is that really what you think?"
Wayne looked at the black cat in front of him with a puzzled expression.
"Can you speak?"
"It always can!"
Lilith's tone was matter-of-fact. "I'm not a real cat. I'm sealed away. I can still manage something as simple as speaking."
She paused, then added.
"But you won't have much time to speak, so use it sparingly."
Wayne nodded but didn't reply.
Lilith jumped out of Hena's arms and sat down in front of Wayne, gracefully resting her paws on them.
"Were you telling the truth just now?"
Which sentence?
"Making the world more lewd is a good dream."
"Yes, that's a good dream."
Lilith looked up and said.
"Although I hate clergy, you, Father Wayne, I, Lilith, approve of you."
Wayne smiled and looked at her.
"Should I feel honored to be recognized by you?"
"You should feel honored." Lilith's cat face was expressionless, but her tone carried a kind of smugness that said, "I rarely praise people." "The last clergyman I recognized was the cardinal of St. Hilde three hundred years ago."
"And then?"
"Later, he retired, found a small town, and opened a brothel."
Wayne's lips twitched.
"He's quite capable of taking action."
Hena's gaze swept back and forth between Wayne and Lilith twice before she couldn't help but speak.
"Can you two get your medical treatment first before chatting?"
Lilith turned to look at her.
"What's your hurry?"
"I'm eager to see your reaction." Hena's tone was calm, but the corners of her mouth curled up slightly. "You don't believe me? If you don't believe me, then try it. After you try, you'll know whether what I said is true or not."
Lilith didn't respond.
She jumped off the chair, walked to Wayne's feet, looked up, and stared at him with her green eyes.
"How to treat it?"
Wayne looked down at her.
"Reveal your demonic form."
"What?"
"Your true form. You are a cat now, and my water element can't heal a cat. You need to change back."
Lilith remained silent for a few moments.
"Okay, please wait a moment."
……
The black fog dissipated.
Wayne saw the person in front of him clearly.
Her black hair reached her waist, her skin was so white it glowed, and her features were so exquisite that they seemed like something out of this world.
She had almost no clothes on.
Several strips of black cloth barely covered the vital parts; they were more symbolic than clothing. Moreover, these black strips were not tied tightly, and it was normal for them to loosen and shift during movement.
What's most striking is the texture of her skin.
Those were glowing patterns.
It spread throughout the body.
Like glowing chains, they were embedded in her skin, suppressing the aura that belonged to a demon.
