Wayne sat at the table, looking somewhat awkward.

"Have you seen enough?"

Emily chuckled.

"I can never get tired of looking at him, sir."

Wayne didn't respond.

Emily got out of bed, her bare feet touching the floor, stretched, and tilted her head to look at him: "Sir, aren't you going to look at me?"

"I just saw it."

"Is it pretty?"

Wayne paused for a moment while holding the cup.

He stammered a little.

"It's...it's alright."

Emily's smile deepened. She strolled over and sat down opposite Wayne, resting her chin on her hand, her eyes crinkling into crescent moons. "Sir, you're getting more and more adorable."

"Alright, stop talking nonsense. Put your clothes on and come out with me."

Emily tilted her head: "Where to?"

"The City Lord's Mansion".

"The City Lord's Mansion?" Emily raised an eyebrow. "What are we going there for?"

"I'll take you to meet Agatha, and while we're at it, I'll show you Reka."

Upon hearing Reika's name, Emily's smile subtly faded. She didn't rush to reply, but slowly and methodically picked up her clothes from the bed and began putting them on, one by one.

As she fastened her belt, she spoke, "Sir, you and that Miss Reika seem to get along quite well? To be honest, she's almost reluctant to share you with anyone else!"

She changed the subject, her tone becoming lighter: "However, I like anything that you like, sir. After all, sometimes a little liveliness is nice."

Wayne stared at her speechlessly.

"You really think this body of mine can't do anything?"

Emily fastened her belt, patted her skirt, and winked at him: "Sir, you don't understand. Some things aren't about size, but about skill."

"...Let's get down to business." Wayne quickly steered the conversation back on track. "I brought you to see her because I've been observing her these past two days, and the accumulation of magic power within her is somewhat abnormal. At first, I thought it was just a problem with an ordinary person's constitution, but the more I looked, the more something seemed off. The flow of magic power didn't resemble ordinary magic power; it seemed more like a precursor to a witch's awakening."

Emily's expression became more serious.

"Are you saying, sir, that Reika might have a latent witch constitution?"

"That's possible."

Wayne continued, "Also, Agatha is one of the very few witches among you who has broken through to the fifth rank. When you visit her, you can ask her for advice on breakthrough techniques, which will be beneficial to you."

After hearing this, Emily's expression became much more serious: "A fifth-tier witch... that's definitely worth meeting."

Soon, the two passed through the underground city's passages and came up to the surface, walking along the road in the old city towards the city lord's mansion.

Before long, the two arrived at the city lord's mansion.

As soon as he entered the courtyard, Reika hurried up from the other end of the corridor to greet him. She was wearing a light gray apron today, and her hair was neatly tied up. The moment she saw Wayne, the expression on her face visibly relaxed.

"Young Master, you're back."

Her gaze fell on Emily behind Wayne, paused slightly, and then she gave a polite yet curious smile: "And this is...?"

"My friend, Emily."

Emily's eyes crinkled into a smile, and she said sweetly, "Hello, I'm your magic... assistant."

"Assistant?" Reka repeated the word, without asking any further questions, and simply nodded. "Then please rest for a while, I'll go pour you some tea."

After she finished speaking, she turned and walked towards the kitchen.

Emily grumbled as she watched Reika walk away.

"She does have quite a large chest."

Wayne patted the back of her hand lightly.

"Is that the point?"

Emily withdrew her gaze, cleared her throat, and resumed her serious demeanor: "Sir is right, but whether she is a witch or not depends mainly on whether she has the mark of a witch on her. Otherwise, she may also be a sorcerer."

Wayne nodded slightly.

"Then take a look at her."

Emily smiled slightly.

"Leave it to me, no problem."

When Reika returned with the tea tray, Wayne spoke up, "Reika, I think you seem to have a talent for being a magician. How about I have my assistant take a look?"

Reika paused, nearly dropping the tray in her hands. "Eh? Really? Young Master?"

Wayne nodded seriously: "Yes."

Reika stood there, holding the tea tray, stunned for several seconds before she came to her senses. She looked up at Wayne, her voice tinged with barely concealed nervousness: "Young Master...you mean, I can learn magic too?"

"It's not certain yet," Wayne replied. "That's why I asked Emily to take a look. If he really has talent, it's always good to learn something to rely on."

"Then... what should I do?"

Emily waved her hand dismissively.

"Take off all your clothes."

Reika froze. She instinctively glanced at Wayne, then turned to Emily, her voice hesitant: "All...all of it?"

Yes, all of them.

Wayne coughed lightly beside him: "Um, why don't you guys find a room first?"

Emily patted her head.

"Yes, yes, we need to find a room first."

Reika visibly relaxed, letting out a sigh of relief: "That scared me to death! I thought I was going to be here..."

But she still didn't move.

She stood there looking at Emily, then glanced down at her own clothes, and after a long while asked in a low voice, "Um, Miss Assistant, are you sure you want to take off all your clothes?"

Emily made up an excuse: "Of course. The wizard's mark I want to see could be anywhere on your body, some on your back, some on your side, and some even in more private places. You're dressed, so I can't see it clearly."

Reika bit her lip, her gaze drifting towards Wayne.

Wayne turned his head away, pretending to look at the flowers in the yard.

"Okay... alright."

Reika led Emily to a room where she usually slept.

After the door closed, there was a rustling sound of fabric rubbing together inside. After a while, her voice came from behind the door: "...Okay, Assistant, you can come in now."

Wayne stood still.

Emily walked to the door, glanced back at him, and smiled enigmatically. "Sir, would you like to wait outside, or would you like to come in together?"

"I'll wait outside!"

Wayne leaned against the pillar, his gaze fixed on the flowerbed in the yard, but he couldn't completely ignore the noise coming from inside the house.

Soon Emily came from inside the door, her voice filled with a comforting smile.

"Don't be afraid, I won't eat you."

"Um... okay, Assistant..."

The room was quiet for a little while.

Then Reika's voice suddenly rose a notch: "Ah! It's a little... a little cold!"

"It's normal. There's a temperature difference when magic enters the body. Just bear with it, it'll be over soon."

"Mmm...mmm...okay..."

Another silence fell, then Reika's voice rang out again: "Assistant... could you... please not put your hand there...?"

"Don't move. The magical fluctuations are most obvious here. I need to sense it for a while before I can confirm it."

"...Okay, okay."

Wayne listened from outside, his expression complex.

He suddenly regretted bringing the person to the city lord's mansion.
