In the world of Supreme Being, in the primordial chaos and the beginning of time, the spirits born were at the legendary level, which was vastly different from the mortal beings who struggled to cultivate in later generations.

From the moment of their birth, countless projections begin to exist in all the heavens and myriad worlds. Not only are their own lifespans worry-free and unbound by shackles, but they are also nearly immortal and indestructible, enjoying the supreme starting point bestowed by the origin of heaven and earth.

When the end of the Dharma arrives and the Great Dao withers, the cultivation system in the world of "A World of Supreme Being" in this era, whether it is conventional martial arts, Buddhist Sambhogakaya, or Taoist cultivation, all require arduous cultivation step by step, tempering and refining each step, and experiencing all the tribulations of the mortal world before one can reach the peak of the third realm of Dharma Body, the Celestial Immortal.

In Buddhism, this corresponds to a great Bodhisattva or Arhat who has penetrated the origin and is close to the Buddha; in Taoism, it corresponds to a highly accomplished person who has attained the perfection of a celestial being and the perfection of their Taoist practice. Only by reaching this stage can one sense the myriad "other selves" in the universe who are intertwined with oneself in the unseen world, actively build bridges of cause and effect, enlighten the projections of all heavens, incorporate the myriad other selves into one's own Taoist fruition, transform them into one's own projection, and ultimately achieve oneness, stepping out of the legendary realm and becoming the only one in all realms.

When it reaches this legendary level, different schools of thought use different names for it:

In Buddhism, there are those who are called Buddhas, and there are those who have not fulfilled their great vows, who are willing to remain in the mortal world and do not wish to become Buddhas, and who still consider themselves great Bodhisattvas or great Arhats.

The Taoists revered him as an Immortal Venerable; the demon race, with its more rugged and straightforward cultivation, called him a Lesser Saint.

Of course, this is the orthodox cultivation path for beings in the real world who break through to the legendary realm in "A World Worthy".

Wang Qi's mind was clear, and he instantly recognized himself. He was not a person from the Realm of the Supreme Being, nor even a person from the Myriad Realms of the Supreme Being. He had never set foot in those Myriad Realms, and he had neither the innate "other self" of the myriad realms nor the "other self" of any living being.

The conventional path to legendary status was completely severed for him from the very beginning. To reach this supreme realm, he had no choice but to defy the heavens and forge his own path.

The first path is to emulate the path of Master Lu, the Sword Master of One Heart in the novel "The Supreme Being".

Neither he nor I am the true self; only the sword is the true self, only the heart is the true self. I discard all external illusions and focus solely on refining my true spiritual essence.

The normal path to legend begins with enlightening the "other self" and absorbing projections from all realms. Through quantitative changes, qualitative changes are built up, the level of the true spirit is raised layer by layer, and finally, the essence of one's own true spirit is enhanced, transcending all heavens and stepping into the realm of legend.

So Mr. Lu's path is to go in the opposite direction, first seeking his true self and purifying himself, severing all false entanglements, slowly raising his true spirit from the mortal level to the essence that transcends all heavens, and then projecting it to all heavens and myriad worlds, replicating the legendary pattern of innate beings.

It's somewhat like those innate beings who were born into legend at the beginning of time; they were born as legends.

Once this path is cleared, it will be like those primordial beings who were born into legend at the beginning of time, their legends spreading throughout the heavens.

It can purify the self, temper the true spirit, enhance the essence of the true spirit, and transcend the essence of the true spirit. It sounds simple, but putting it into practice is incredibly daunting. Celestial Immortals and legends are two completely different dimensions of life, separated by an insurmountable chasm. Without the support of others from all realms, relying solely on one's own strength to slowly hone the true spirit and rise against the current is difficult enough to deter most cultivators.

Even with Lu Da's exceptional talent, extraordinary temperament, and unparalleled enlightenment that allowed him to forge his own path, he still couldn't perfect this path even by the end of the era in the original story. It wasn't until the restart of the next era that he finally completed it and became a legend. How much more so for others.

Wang Qi secretly assessed himself. In terms of talent, temperament, and comprehension, he could not possibly catch up with Lu Da, a powerful figure who had blazed his own trail. Even Lu Da needed to transcend an era to achieve this. If he insisted on choosing this path, he would probably have no hope in this lifetime or even this era. He could only put it aside for the time being and keep it as an alternative when he had no other way to go in the future.

As his thoughts settled, Wang Qi's gaze became more focused. What he now intended to try was the legendary path of forging his own way—since there was no "other self," he would first create one.

Traveling through countless planes, leaving behind their own footprints, traces of their path, and legendary tales in different worlds, these traces are passed down through generations and remain indelible, forming a false "other self" imprint, creating a false "other self" that is uniquely their own.

Since there are no parallel selves in the myriad worlds by nature, then create them yourself. Once the false selves have spread throughout the heavens and their foundation is solid, then absorb these created "selves" one by one, completing the accumulation from quantitative change to qualitative change, and steadily taking the key step to the legendary realm.

It just so happens that he is currently practicing the peerless divine skill "Eight-Nine Profound Skill" created by the Primordial Celestial Venerable. This skill is based on the true self and original mind, experiencing all aspects of the world, seeing all appearances without being attached to them, embracing all changes and encompassing all things in heaven and earth, which perfectly matches and complements his path of creating his own self.

A new expectation arose in his heart: if he could leave his Dao traces in the unknown space-time and space beyond the myriad worlds, and absorb and integrate them all in the future, would it make his legendary realm even more powerful with the characteristic of "legends are everywhere"?

Moreover, cultivation is a gradual process. If one has not truly stepped into the Dharma Body level and ascended to the Celestial Immortal realm, and has not personally experienced the profound mysteries of that realm, his current conception of the legendary path is ultimately just a glimpse through a tube, like the blind men touching an elephant. His plan is far from perfect and comprehensive, and he still needs to cultivate step by step in the future to verify, improve and complete it.

The distinction between "other self" and "id" was initially based on whether one was in the real world.

But his desire to reverse fate and transform into his true self was never something that could be achieved simply by ascending to the real world. The core lies in seeing one's true self and actively severing causal ties with one's original self, rather than simply relying on geographical location to define one's identity.

Even if I complete my independent path and stand in the real world, I can still be communicated with and forcibly integrated by my original self from a distance. Geography is never an absolute barrier.

If you want to completely break free from this fate, there are only two paths to take: either follow Mr. Lu's example, guard your one true self, reject all external illusions, and do not identify with any other self or other; or wield the blade of cause and effect, personally sever the cause and effect of past and future lives, use the power of external things to cut off the entanglements, and prove your unique self.

Just like Meng Qi, who was originally a wisp of the Demon Buddha residing on the Dao Venerable's raft of salvation, "Earth," even after stepping into the Real World, he did not directly inherit the Dao Fruit of his original self. He still needs to use every sword and blade to sever the past and the illusions of the future, to see through the illusions, and to uphold his true self, in order to prove himself as a legend and become the only one in all realms.

The above are all the destiny trajectories of powerful beings who have developed into their own selves. However, if the original self is weak and equal in strength to the other self, the situation will be completely different.

If the other self derived from the fragments of cosmic light and the original self of the real world both start from the same humble beginnings and progress side by side, and both cultivate diligently to reach the perfection of the celestial immortals, then who is the original and who is the clone will no longer be certain. Only a battle can determine the world and the primary and secondary roles will be decided by strength.
