Mans seemed to understand something, and he slowly said:

"So, you're just giving yourself a reason to advance south, to satisfy your moral conscience?"

Lynn smiled:

"You could say that sometimes a person's beliefs can overcome everything, and I'm willing to give myself one."

"But there's something you haven't seen, and that's the human heart. If the people of the South knew the truth, knew that the greatest threat was the White Walkers beyond the Wall, and that the lords were still fighting tooth and nail for an iron chair, disregarding their lives, what do you think they would do?"

"If anyone doesn't believe it, just tie up a few ghouls and bring them here to see."

Mans appears to have accepted Lynn's statement:

"Legend has it that the Wall is enchanted, and the White Walkers cannot cross it."

"Then let's bring those who don't believe here and let them see for themselves," Lynn said decisively.

"But the free people won't accept the constraints," Mans raised the last and most troublesome problem.

"That's my only request," Lynn said slowly. "You can't always be the one making demands; I have my conditions too."

"If you want me to lead the free people to survive, then you need to do three things."

"First, continue the search for the legendary Horn of Joman, not to threaten the Southerners and the Night's Watch, but to prevent the White Walkers from obtaining it."

"Second, select soldiers who are willing to obey orders and tell them that they do not need to kneel before anyone, but only fight for themselves and their families. I will give them armor and weapons, and give their families food, land and houses."

"Third, find the most ruthless raiders and those who refuse to obey the rules, and give them two choices: either swear to guard the Wall forever and never leave, like the Night's Watch; or die outside the Wall and become henchmen for the White Walkers, and I wouldn't mind killing them again."

Mans' expression was complicated after hearing this: "I swore to keep them away from the White Walkers."

Lynn retorted sharply: "At least there's a city wall between us."

After a while, he advised again:

"I think you know in your heart that if we let them into the southern lands, even if the free people eventually settle down, their lives will not be peaceful. If you want your people to live well, you must make a choice."

"At that time, I will lead them to attack the castle, and take one or two as you said, forcing them to hand over their stockpiled food."

"It doesn't matter if there isn't enough food in the North. As long as they submit, I will continue to lead them south to collect taxes from the lords further south with more fertile lands."

Mans hesitated:

"But in that case, we will most likely lose the Raven Hunters, the Bone King, and the Weeping Ones, and the Hamma the Doghead may no longer obey orders."

Lynn said succinctly, "Very good, the Great Wall needs manpower."

Mans remained silent for a long time before finally letting out a long sigh.

"Alright! From now on, they are your subjects."

And so, a conversation that had almost determined the future of the Free People and the North came to an end, and both men looked much more relaxed.

Mans was relieved of a heavy burden, which also provided security for his wife and children. Lynn, on the other hand, inexplicably solved a major problem he had envisioned – the issue of restraining the savages.

"All three of your requests will take time."

Mans stood up:

"We'll keep looking for the horn, but we don't hold out much hope. Tormund's men are ready to fight for you, and we can try to win over Hamma, but as for those clans, I'll have to talk to them."

Lynn also stood up, shook Mans's hand, and said with emotion:

"Only you can do these things. If everything goes well afterward, you might win yourself a castle, the kind where you can wear a colorful cloak."

"Granted to me in the name of 'Protector of all living beings in Westeros'?"

Mans asked with a smile.

"No, it's a gift."

Lynn responded with a smile.

Mans escorted Lynn back to the Thern camp, and the two deliberately engaged in a heated conversation, a scene that caused quite a stir among the savages along the way.

This is part of the plan. Mans will then have people spread the word to gradually mythologize Lynn's identity, but how exactly he does it is up to him.

That evening, Lynn sent Lyanna back to her mother's tent, then boiled hot water to wash her body and clean her clothes.

After he finished all his work, he was sitting naked by the stove drying his clothes when a deafening cheer suddenly came from outside the tent.

It was countless voices calling out the name of New Magna.

Lynn breathed a sigh of relief. Kasa hadn't disappointed him after all; another piece of the puzzle was in place.

Although his and Mans' plans wouldn't be greatly affected even if Kasa didn't become Magna, Kasa was still "one of their own," and if things didn't go well on Mans' side, he still had the Thane people as his last resort.

However, he did not go out to celebrate with the Thern people, partly because his clothes were not yet dry and were uncomfortable to wear, and partly because he had to consider the issue of Kasa's personal prestige.

Kasa had previously sworn a blood oath to follow the Star Children forever in exchange for Lynn's "presence" with them.

If Lynn were to suddenly appear before him at this moment, Kasa would certainly react in some way. While it might not be embarrassing, it would inevitably damage his supreme image in the hearts of the Thane people.

After all, it was a glorious moment that someone had risked their life for, so Lynn had that much insight.

The next morning, Lynn learned that in addition to Kasa crawling out of the ground on his own, Stie's son Saigon was dug out and revived by a potion, while another candidate unfortunately died.

What followed was three days of revelry, with the Theon people giving their all to celebrate the birth of New Magna, offering an abundance of meat such as beef, mutton, pork, and deer.

Mans was somewhat resentful about this, but still sent a lot of precious mead as a congratulatory gift.

Lynn still didn't get involved. For the past three days, he had been holed up in his tent, focusing on studying the swordsmanship and archery techniques from Blood Raven's memories.

In this world where might makes right, Lynn must seize the time to become stronger.

Mans had previously hinted at this on the way back to Lynn, noting from the way Lynn drew his sword that he was not good with a sword and that he did not have calluses on his hands from long-term training.

Others may be so engrossed in his royal story that they don't notice, but in time the truth will come out.

It is important to know that wildlings only follow the strong, and Lynn's strength is reflected in three aspects: his mysterious origins, his achievement of killing White Walkers, and his identity as a "Dragon Tamer".

The identity of the "Dragon Tamer" is beyond doubt; anyone with eyes can see it.

Although the title "Child of the Stars" is endorsed by the Thernians, it is ultimately impossible to prove. However, the savages tend to exaggerate their nicknames to some extent, such as "Giantslayer" and "Husband of the Snow Bear" Tormund, so they can only believe it with skepticism.

The story of slaying the White Walkers cannot be told solely by the warriors of Thane.

No matter how many times they swear that what they say is true, they will ultimately need to prove it through Lynn's personal strength.
