Lynn was greatly surprised by the young dragon's sudden burst of fire breath; usually, dragons only breathe fire when they are older.

But now is not the time to ponder that. The surroundings are still teeming with ghouls, but they are all in a state of chaos, rushing around like headless flies.

Clearly, their condition is closely related to the White Walkers on Earth.

Worried that the White Walker wasn't quite dead, Lynn brandished the Dark Sisters, which were glowing red from the dragonfire, and chopped off the White Walker's head, which had melted down to half its original size.

As the sword flashed, white mist rose up, and this time Lynn felt almost no resistance.

The Thane people, who were not far away, finally recovered from their shock. They regained their courage and, shouting, hacked down the almost defenseless ghouls in droves.

But Lynn suddenly realized that this might not be a good choice, because wights would attack living things on their own when they were not controlled by the White Walkers, and the current situation seemed to be more like chaos caused by the White Walkers' control not being completely severed.

Perhaps once the White Walkers are completely dead, these wights will regain their instinct to attack.

Thinking about this, Lynn regretted cutting off the White Walker's head.

He pushed aside a ghoul that was crashing into him and found that the ghoul was short in stature and had a head shape that was more like that of an ape.

He then slashed down another one with his sword, but unexpectedly, this ghoul burst into flames instantly, as if its entire body had been doused with oil.

The Therons, who instinctively drew closer, looked on with even greater awe at the sight.

"Lead the way, and run!"

A muffled sound came from Lynn's helmet. His ancient pronunciation was already inaccurate, and it was even more distorted through the helmet. He didn't know if these Thane people could understand him.

Fortunately, they showed him through their actions, so the group broke through from a direction where the ghouls were relatively sparse, then took a big detour and headed towards a faintly visible snow-white mountain peak.

The Thane noticed Lynn's difficulty in moving, but instead of fleeing on their own, they cooperated with Lynn and slowed down.

They walked for a long time with their heads down, until they climbed a gentle slope. Lynn was so tired that he could no longer walk. His clothes inside his spacesuit were soaked with sweat. Even with the temperature and humidity control system running at full speed, it couldn't dry the moisture inside and eventually broke down. His mask also started to fog up.

He plunged his sword into the snow, and the still-warm Dark Sisters scorched the snow until it hissed and smoked.

From the moment it began its escape, the baby dragon clung to the gap between its helmet and the external power source, becoming extremely weak after it breathed fire.

Lynn moved it to his shoulder, then took off his helmet and shook his sweat-dampened black hair.

He gave the nearest Thane warrior a harmless smile, who seemed somewhat flattered, while the others looked at Lynn's face and the fire-breathing dragon on his shoulder with awe.

Lynn knew nothing about the Thane people. He recognized them only because of the shout of "Long live Magna!" He knew Magna was the leader of the Thane people, but nothing else.

However, this group was the first group of living people Lynn encountered. Although in Blood Raven's memory they were all brutal barbarians from beyond the Great Wall, it was a war between the living and the dead. In any case, they naturally belonged to the same camp, so he tried his best to act kindly.

Unfortunately, no one spoke, and the atmosphere became slightly awkward.

Lynn cleared his throat, deciding to break the silence. He said in broken ancient language, "Let's rest for a while. We're quite far away now."

The group of burly men nodded in agreement.

Lynn breathed a sigh of relief, finding these people surprisingly easy to talk to.

He was extremely thirsty, but the bag of water in his satchel was frozen solid, so he drew the Dark Sisters sword and used the residual heat of the blade to warm it.

Valyrian steel swords are said to be forged in dragonfire and imbued with magic, which is why they are both light and incredibly sharp, and virtually unaffected by wear. But it is unknown whether the fact that this sword was burned in dragonfire again will damage some of its properties.

There's a term called tempering, but Lynn doesn't really understand the principle behind it.

The Thane people nearby saw Lynn staring blankly at the Fire Demon Sword, and they couldn't figure out what he was doing, but they didn't dare to ask any questions.

Only when they saw Lynn grab a handful of snow and melt it in his mouth did everyone offer their wine pouches.

Lynn doesn't drink, but he didn't want to refuse everyone's good intentions, so he picked out a wine bag that looked pleasing to the eye and forced himself to take a swig.

It tastes very spicy, but it's still acceptable.

Lynn politely returned the wine bag and sat on the ground to continue waiting for his bag of water to dissolve.

"The White King".

A gust of wind carried this ancient phrase into Lynn's ears.

"It's the White Prince, he's still very young," another voice replied.

"No, his hair and eyes are black, and I've never seen anyone like him before, as well as that armor."

When a third person joined the discussion, his voice became much louder.

"He has birds that breathe fire," the first person continued.

"That's a dragon, you idiot! I've heard ancient tales that they grow bigger than icebergs and can swallow a giant mammoth whole."

"I've also heard from Mother Mole that the King of the South rode a giant dragon and burned down the world's largest castle."

"I wish we could burn down the Great Wall."

"Should we burn down the Great Wall so the dead can chase after it?"

Then there was a moment of silence.

After a long while, someone finally spoke softly:

"Magna is dead..."

"We also have Sedgone, the son of Stie."

"Thorn does not accept hereditary succession; otherwise, how are we any different from the kneeling people of the South?"

"Ha, I bet once we get past the Great Wall, the free people will be kneeling down! Those leaders never stop talking about the Southerners' castles, and the raiders are even better at it; they've seen it all."

The discussion stopped again. Lynn had wanted to listen more, but she didn't expect that there was a conversation killer hiding in the crowd.

So he took the initiative to join in.

"Are you going to attack the Great Wall?"

When Lynn came over to ask questions, the Thane warriors immediately perked up, and the others also gathered around.

"Yes, you... don't intend to follow Mans?"

One of them cautiously retorted, even using honorifics from classical Chinese.

Lynn didn't know how to answer, since he didn't know much about Mans, so he pretended to be deep and patted the young dragon's head, and a hoarse gurgling sound came from the dragon's throat.

"My esteemed guest, do you have a clan and a name?"

Another man mustered his courage and asked, since Lynn had drunk his wine, so he thought he was more qualified than the others, but he still racked his brains to find an obscure honorific.

"I have no clan..." Lynn stopped mid-sentence, then continued:

"No, I come from a great clan. My clan is named after the river of stars in the sky, and we are descendants of yellow and fire, inheritors of the dragon."

It was still early morning, and a bright star was twinkling in the distant sky.

"My name is Lynn Morningstar, and I come from a small, insignificant family within the clan."

The members of Thane exchanged bewildered glances, but when they saw the blood-red dragon covered in fine scales, nothing could be more convincing: the inheritor of the dragon lineage.

As the saying goes, when you're out in the world, you define your own identity.

Lynn realized that these people considered themselves some kind of legendary figure. It's no wonder they acted this way; the spacesuits alone were enough to make these savages feel the immense difference in their status.

They are just backward, not stupid; they can still distinguish between good and bad.

Not to mention the legendary creatures like the fire-breathing dragons and the feat of slaying a White Walker in one blow.

If Lynn flew over in a helicopter and looked a bit strange, he might be worshipped as a god. Isn't that how the ancient murals on Earth came about?

Since things have come to this point, and I need to establish myself in this world, I might as well exaggerate as much as possible, since what he said is all true anyway.
