Chapter 96 What are you looking at?!

Chu Sheng was awakened by being strangled.

He tried to raise his hand to rub his eyes, but found he couldn't.

My right hand was pressed down by something, heavy, warm and soft, with a milky scent.

He turned his head and saw Amber lying on her right side, one arm wrapped around his neck, holding his head in her arms.

His right arm was trapped between her legs in the unfathomable valley of her chest.

Amber's nightgown neckline slipped open, revealing a large expanse of dazzlingly white skin. Her two large, soft mounds, in her side-lying position, created a natural cleavage that completely enveloped his arm.

His left hand was also immobile.

Arthur lay on his left side, a long, strong thigh pressing against his lower abdomen. The hem of his nightgown had slipped down to his thigh as he lifted his leg, revealing most of his round, perky buttocks.

Just then, Amber stirred in her sleep, murmured something, and hugged him even tighter.

Chu Sheng's face was pressed into that soft, fleshy mound. He quickly turned his head and struggled to peek out from between those two majestic snow-capped mountains to breathe in the fresh air.

This position allowed him to see Amber's sleeping face perfectly: pale golden eyelashes, a high and straight nose, and slightly parted lips. The deep, unfathomable cleavage was right before his eyes, gently compressing and releasing with her breath, exuding a faint fragrance and warmth.

Just then, Arthur moved. She frowned, then moved her thigh, which was pressing against his lower abdomen, upwards.

She felt a strange burning sensation in her thigh.

Arthur shifted again, half-asleep.

Amber opened her eyes slightly, her gaze still hazy from just waking up. She looked down with interest at her full breasts, which had been deformed by Chu Sheng's arm, and then gently moved, letting her ample softness rub against his arm.

Just then, Arthur also woke up.

She abruptly pulled her leg back, grabbed the blanket and covered herself, almost falling off the edge of the bed.

Taking advantage of the moment, Chu Sheng pulled his right hand out of An Bomei's arms, which also pulled at the two huge things, causing them to bounce and ripple out a white wave the instant they were freed.

Chu Sheng couldn't help but glance at it out of the corner of his eye again.

Amber noticed his self-glow and slowly tugged at her collar: "Look if you want, it's not like I'm stopping you from looking."

Arthur immediately turned and glared at him.

"Who?" Arthur asked, somewhat alarmed.

Silverleaf's voice came from outside the door: "It's me! Ella sent me to ask when breakfast is!"

"Wait a minute!"

There was a moment of silence outside the door, then Yinye said "Okay," and her footsteps faded away.

The breakfast at the White Wing Inn was much more lavish than Chu Sheng had imagined, and it finally came close to what he considered normal human food.

A large basket of freshly baked rye bread, crispy on the outside with a crunchy sound when broken open, but soft and fluffy on the inside; several dishes of roasted bacon, boiled eggs, and honey butter; a large bowl of oatmeal porridge mixed with chopped nuts; and a full pot of steaming hot fresh milk.

A mountain of food was piled up in front of Ella, and she was clumsily rolling bacon into a small roll with her fork. Silver Leaf sat next to her, sipping her milk and glancing back and forth between Chu Sheng, Arthur, and Amber.

"What are you looking at?!" Arthur finally couldn't hold back and slammed his hand on the table.

Ella looked up, her mouth full of bread crumbs, and stared blankly at everyone: "What are you looking at?"

Just then, the innkeeper strode in. He carried a silver tray with a letter on it, sealed with a dark blue wax seal depicting a winged winged horse.

"My lords," the shopkeeper placed the tray on the table, his tone even more respectful than yesterday, "this morning the lord's manor sent an invitation from the Whitehorse family."

Arthur picked up the envelope, peeled off the sealing wax, and glanced at the letter inside.

"Lady Mira has invited us to a dinner party at the Lord's manor tonight," she said. "The letter also said that she has prepared guest rooms for us at the Lord's manor, and we can move there from the inn tonight."

"She knows we're here?" Silverleaf asked, somewhat puzzled. "Haven't we gone to the lord's manor to deliver our invitations yet?"

"Pegasus Territory is her territory." Arthur's mood suddenly improved. "We can talk about the banquet tonight. Today is the last day of the preview for the Whitewing City annual auction. It's a rare opportunity to attend such a grand event; would you like to go and take a look?"

Yinye's eyes lit up: "An auction? There are treasures to see?"

"Yes, and a lot of them." Arthur smiled. "The annual auction in Whitewing City is one of the largest commercial events in the entire northern part of the empire. Rare treasures from all over the world are exhibited at the preview. Even if you can't afford to buy anything, it's worth taking a look."

Ella immediately raised her hand: "Is there anything good to eat?"

"The auction house doesn't sell food," Arthur shattered her illusions. "But there's the most famous barbecue restaurant in Whitewing City right across from the auction house."

Ella's tail wagged.

The auction house in Whitewing City is located in the center of the main street. It is a three-story detached building with a dark gray granite exterior.

At the entrance of the auction house stand two stone pillars, carved with two celestial horses standing upright, and a huge plaque hangs between the pillars.

By this time, a long, winding queue had formed at the entrance of the auction house. The queue contained all sorts of people: wealthy merchants dressed in silk, mercenaries with swords, mage apprentices carrying staffs, noble attendants in uniform, and a bunch of commoners who were watching the spectacle squeezed on the outside of the queue, craning their necks to look inside.

Arthur led the group through the VIP entrance from the side. The receptionist saw the Knights' emblem in her hand and immediately bowed to make way for them.

"Tsk tsk," Chu Sheng sighed, "It's so good to be a privileged class!"

The auction house hall was much larger than it appeared from the outside. A huge mural was painted on the dome, depicting a celestial horse descending from the sky, its hooves pounding through the dark clouds and its wings covering the sky and the sun.

A huge crystal chandelier hangs in the very center, inlaid with hundreds of luminous crystals, illuminating the entire hall as bright as day.

On each side of the hall stood a row of display cases, showcasing items for the upcoming auction. Next to each case stood an appraiser in black, ready to answer guests' questions.

Visitors gathered in small groups in front of the display cases, sometimes exclaiming in amazement, sometimes whispering among themselves.

"Exhibit number one!" A middle-aged appraiser announced loudly from the outermost display case, "An ice crystal dragon scale from the depths of the Griffin Mountains! A complete scale shed by a sixth-tier ice crystal dragon. Appraised by the Mage Tower, its ice element purity is over 90%! Estimated starting bid: 1,000 gold coins!"

The display case was lined with deep blue velvet, upon which lay a palm-sized scale. The scale was a translucent pale blue, radiating a chilling aura, and even the inside of the glass display case was covered with a layer of frost.

Chu Sheng was furious: "Damn it, how come I didn't get to pick up such a good thing?"
