Looking at Rhonin before him, the Great Lord of Pleasure's expression was clearly not pleasant.

Luo Ning simply smiled as he looked at the other person, reached out, grasped the delicate little foot, gently pulled the floating Slaanesh closer, and slowly kissed the fair and pink instep.

"Great Lord of Pleasure, why are you so angry? Isn't all of this your doing?"

Hearing Luo Ning's words, Slaanesh kicked Luo Ning hard in the face.

But Luo Ning wasn't angry at all. He just lovingly hugged those slender feet and kissed them passionately once again.

Then, he slowly pulled, drawing the Lord of Pleasure, who was floating in the air, closer to himself, but his kisses never stopped, and even Slaanesh, the Lord of Pleasure, couldn't help but sigh softly.

Finally, Luo Ning pulled her into his arms, but she turned her head away, unwilling to look directly at the man in front of her.

"Are you really ignoring me?" Luo Ning asked with a smile, but his hands didn't stop moving at all.

Feeling Luo Ning's increasingly aggressive behavior, she finally couldn't hold back any longer, pushed Luo Ning's hand away, and turned her head away angrily.

"So you still know to come looking for me?"

Her voice was clearly angry, but to Luo Ning it sounded more like she was whining.

Luo Ning gently stroked the perfect face in front of him, smiling indulgently.

"Don't be angry. I've been too busy these past few days, and some nuns from the church came to my planet. I just can't be in two places at once."

Hearing Luo Ning's words, Slaanesh, who had been throwing a tantrum, immediately became interested. She even turned to look at Luo Ning with an expectant smile on her face.

"You didn't lay a hand on the nuns of the Dark Emperor's church, did you?"

There was a sense of expectation in her eyes as she looked at Luo Ning.

But Ronin saw right through him. He affectionately pinched Slaanesh's cheek and said, "What are you thinking? Attacking the nun? I'm afraid the Inquisition and the Church's warships will be here by tomorrow morning."

"What are you afraid of? You can steal my power, can't you? Anyway, mortals can't detect it, so you can do whatever you want, can't you?"

Slaanesh's voice was sickeningly sweet, but Ronin knew perfectly well that it was the most dangerous kind of sweet temptation.

He grabbed that huge mass of sinful hands and squeezed it hard, causing the Lord of Pleasure to sigh repeatedly, while Luo Ning could only shake his head helplessly.

"Don't get me into trouble. Do you think I don't know how devout nuns are?" Rhonin hugged Slaanesh tightly, staring into his eyes. "Once they discover even the slightest abnormality in my faith, I'm afraid the entire universe, no matter how vast, will not be able to accommodate a mere mortal like me."

"Wouldn't that be even better?" The Lord of Pleasure's smile held a hint of cunning. "Then you only need to whisper my name, and I will personally open a rift in the warp for you, bringing you to my garden to enjoy eternal bliss. And my familiars will fulfill any of your desires."

The look in her eyes as she gazed at Luo Ning contained both boundless tenderness and blatant temptation.

"Whether it's physical stimulation, art and glory, or the power and prosperity of the planet that you seek, you can get it all in the blink of an eye."

But in the next second, she realized something was wrong.

Because Luo Ning showed absolutely no interest in what she was saying, and instead gave her a smile that was hard to describe.

It's like when an adult hears a child's naive words and can't bear to interrupt their dream, so they can only smile helplessly.

"What are you laughing at?" Slaanesh frowned. Although she wasn't angry, she was still annoyed that she couldn't see through the man in front of her.

Luo Ning gently stroked the Lord of Pleasure's smooth hair and leaned back slightly.

In an instant, the surrounding scenery changed drastically, and Luo Ning leaned steadily against the headboard. Looking at everything familiar around him, he couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic.

"Is this your world?" Slaanesh looked at everything before him, and even the all-knowing and great god of pleasure couldn't help but show curiosity.

She looked around and then gazed at the scenery outside the window, just like a young girl who had just arrived in the city.

Luo Ning released his hand that was holding her, stood up, and looked out the window. The crowds and traffic were right in front of him, but he knew that it was all just a projection of an illusion.

"Yes, this is where I used to live."

He muttered to himself, a hint of melancholy in his eyes.

Who would have thought that he would arrive in the Warhammer 40K universe and, within a few months, rise to a high position, revered by almost everyone on the planet?

They enjoy the highest level of treatment and can decide the life or death of any mortal at will.

Even when he entered Slaanesh's domain in his dreams, he was virtually omnipotent as long as Slaanesh did not interfere personally.

Even so, this country he once loathed, this place he once found exhausting to live in, now evokes a deep sense of nostalgia in him.

Slaanesh, however, accurately caught the fleeting sadness in Ronin's eyes. She gently returned to Ronin's embrace and tenderly stroked his cheek.

"Do you want to come back to your world, Ronin? I can try, as long as..."

"Baby, you're wrong. Although I miss it, I have no desire to come back here at all." Luo Ning interrupted the Lord of Pleasure's temptation with a wicked smile.

"I brought you here to remind myself of something else." As he spoke, he turned on the computer next to him, looked at the game icons on the system desktop, and couldn't help but laugh.

"You know what? There's always been a hotly debated question on the internet in my world, but I always have my own answer."

"That is, if you turn on cheats while playing a game, such as adjusting the economy or making yourself invincible, will it shorten the game's lifespan?"

"People argue endlessly and hold their own opinions, but for me, I always believe that most games become less fun once cheating is enabled, especially with top-level cheating. If your skill level has reached the ceiling, then you're basically not far from not playing the game anymore."

The Lord of Pleasure looked at Luo Ning, a hint of disbelief in his eyes: "What are you talking about?"

When Slaanesh asked him a question, Ronin simply smiled, took the delicate hands in his arms, and pulled the Lord of Pleasure into his embrace.

"What I mean is, it's my job to make my city prosperous, and most of the joy comes from the process of building it up. If everything goes smoothly with your help, it's actually less interesting."

"I think you're the boring man." The Great Lord of Pleasure squirmed in Ronin's arms, like a spoiled little girl. "Then why did you come to see me today? You scumbag wouldn't come just to keep me company."

Rhonin gave an awkward laugh; Slaanesh had indeed seen right through him. "I want power. I've realized that even though I possess a hive and an army, I am still far too weak."

Ever since he left the military, this question has been constantly on his mind.

If one day he encounters danger while leading his team out and all his guards are killed, what should he do? He must be able to protect himself.
