Chapter 27 Crystal Core

Inside the spacious room, two figures collided and pulled at each other, making loud noises.

In front of him, a pale corpse resembling a woman was once again sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground.

A faint heartbeat echoed in Adir's ears, and within his heart, a seed of life seemed to be influenced by something, growing almost imperceptibly.

When it was all over, Adir looked at the ground again.

On the ground, the once pale corpse had changed. The pale flesh and blood seemed to have been burned away by the previous flames, leaving only a woman's skeleton, lying quietly on the ground, motionless.

Adir frowned as he watched this scene.

He crouched down and carefully examined the bones on the ground.

There was not a trace of burning on the bones, as if they had been naturally weathered over a long period of time, making them appear ancient and natural.

His hand gently traced the skeleton of the corpse, finally stopping below the chest.

There, he touched a very small protrusion.

It was a black crystal, about the size of a fingernail, shimmering with a faint light, which made it look very mysterious.

Holding the crystal, the familiar voice from the chip continued to echo in Adir's mind.

"An unknown energy was detected within the crystal; direct use may produce beneficial effects!"
