Marvel Magic Case Files

Chapter 150 is really going to kill me.

Chapter 150 This is really going to be a disaster (Second update!)

It was a huge silver key, covered with intricate Arabic vine patterns, with a thin silver chain threaded through the keyhole. The chain looked as if it would break at the slightest pull, but it was actually incredibly strong. Coulson clearly remembered that Salomon hadn't had this on his chest before climbing the stone tower, but before he could ask a question, Natasha spoke up first.

"How long have we been missing?" This was Natasha Romanov's biggest concern. "How long have we been there? What about the team members who came with us? Why are we here?"

“Because we’re right here.” Salomon pulled out his phone and showed the call log. “As for your team members, I don’t know where they are either. We haven’t been gone for long, but it’s been enough to throw the others into a panic. I even got a call from the dorm supervisor, who questioned why I hadn’t gone to school. Don’t worry, I called Nick Fury, he knows you’re here, and I’ve been waiting for you to wake up.”

"Waiting for us to wake up?" Coulson asked. "What do you mean?"

"Because I'm leaving," the sorcerer said. "I need to take a good shower, get some sleep, and then go for my job review. Besides that, I have to feed the cats, explain the whole story to others, and finally go to school. I'm very busy."

"I also hope to get a few days of rest." Natasha shook her head. "Looking back now, everything that happened three hundred years ago seems like a dream. I even dreamed that I was buried alive."

"In fact, that reality is no different from a dream, but the fact remains that you were buried alive." The sorcerer put on his slingshot and addressed the agents. "I just hope you don't remember too much, because you'll definitely be questioned when you get back. But the names of some great beings cannot be spoken. If you want to drive more people mad, then feel free to tell the truth... Damn it, I remember now, I still need to clean up the worshippers left on Earth by the mastermind behind."

Leaving aside what happened after Coulson and Natasha were brought back to S.H.I.E.L.D., Salomon opened a portal and went straight to Kamar-Taj headquarters. A few days of living in the colony three hundred years ago was enough to change some of his habits, such as his sleep schedule. It was already late at night in Kamar-Taj. Salomon had just arrived at the Sorcerer Supreme's meditation room when he was called in. The Sorcerer Supreme dismissed the other apprentices in the meditation room, leaving Salomon for a private conversation.

"You need to explain, Salomon. The Eternal God is very unhappy with you; you didn't kill Abigail Williams." The Venerable sighed. "Extradimensional beings still invaded this universe, didn't they? I don't recall you wearing a key around your neck before you set off."

“Abigail Williams is not the cause, but the effect. Killing her would be futile, as she is merely one possibility for him.” Salomon sat down at the table and poured himself a cup of weak tea. He continued, “And that extradimensional being that descended upon the universe did so solely to take Abigail Williams away. I don’t see anything wrong with that; that omniscient and omnipotent being has no interest in this universe.”

"That's good news." The Venerable One poured himself a cup of tea; this time, neither of them added honey. "And the bad news?"

"The bad news is, there really is a Fiend God interested in Earth, and He has countless incarnations," Salomon sighed. Being around Nyarlathotep was immense torture. Aside from his awful sense of humor, this avatar of chaos didn't even know what he was going to do, let alone what others could predict. In fact, Salomon even suspected that the dog Jones was one of Nyarlathotep's incarnations; working against himself was very much in Nyarlathotep's style, but apart from the One Who Resolves All Things and Nyarlathotep himself, no one knew the answer.

"This evil god may have interfered with Earth's development long ago, but we know nothing about it. The reason the situation is so complicated this time is simply because of one of this evil god's pranks. But there's nothing we can do." Salomon shook his head. "I'm beginning to face the insignificance of humanity. There are many things in this world that we can't do. The power of those evil gods far exceeds our capabilities. But there's something good about it. What we need to do next is eliminate the worshippers that evil god left on Earth. As long as no one summons Him, He won't be able to detect us. Perhaps by the time He remembers, this universe will have already been destroyed. Moreover, our universe may have intricate connections with another universe, but I don't know the details. I suspect that the original creator should be related to that universe."

"And what about you?" The Sorcerer Supreme raised an eyebrow. "What about your gains?"

"A chance to see one's own destiny, a chance to break free from it." Salomon picked up the silver key hanging around his neck and waved it before the Venerable One. "I know my birth is shrouded in mystery, and I think this is the key to the answers. Besides, as long as I pass through that door, I can see the ultimate truth of this universe, as long as I don't get driven mad by that insane knowledge—in this respect, I might have some experience, don't I?"

The Venerable Master took a sip of tea, and his expression relaxed.

“Originally, I didn’t want you to take on this mission. It wasn’t until I saw this key around your neck in all the possibilities I saw with the Eye of Agamotto that I agreed to let you accept it. Although I don’t know what this silver key means to you, it’s not all bad,” the Venerable said. “Eternity is the embodiment of this universe; an extradimensional invasion is roughly equivalent to someone being shot. However, this extradimensional invasion occurred in another reality. For Eternity, it should be equivalent to someone dreaming they’ve been shot. You should be thankful that Eternity wouldn’t blame you for a dream. Also, did you use Vishanti magic in that reality?”

“That’s right.” Salomon nodded. “Is there a problem with that?”

"Originally, there was no problem," the Venerable said somewhat mischievously. "Your choice to call upon Vishanti's name was indeed correct. This allowed Vishanti and the Eternal God to observe your mission, and they also glimpsed some of what happened to you in that reality."

The sorcerer frowned in confusion.

"I don't think this is a big problem," he said. "Vishanti and the eternal gods should be able to handle those maddening beings."

"Although I didn't witness it myself, I found out as soon as Vishanti found out." The Venerable One seemed to be barely holding back his laughter. "You haven't forgotten how long you've been gone, have you? It's not just Kasirius and Mordo who are worried about you."

Salomon suddenly realized something, and his expression turned grim.

"Teacher, you wouldn't...?"

"I know, and so does the witch." The Sorcerer Supreme almost laughed out loud. "She rushed here as soon as you disappeared!"

Just a heads-up, based on the timeline, the next episodes should be about Ghost Rider and MUC.

I actually finished my work, amazing.

A new week, I desperately need recommendation votes!

I've been practicing my sarcastic and unsettling style lately, and I went to poke a shrimp hole—it's a great place to practice.
