Chapter 281 Sora Red Forest Druid Order

Chapter 281 The Sora Red Forest Druid Order (Second Update)

Yorkshire, located in the northeast of England, is known as the "County of God." King George VI once said that the history of York is the history of England. Salomon's initial impressions of Yorkshire came from Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights, as well as Yorkshire pudding and gingerbread. However, he had never actually been to Yorkshire, nor had he ever seen its white roses and purple heather.

Even in Yorkshire, Salomon had no time to admire the flowers and the long-haired sheep roaming the North Yorkshire countryside. In fact, he had come in a hurry; after dropping Maya Hansen off at the equipment dealer's building, he rushed to the location of the Druidic Sora Redwood Order [Note 1]. According to Balthazar, the order's lineage had been almost completely lost, and now the entire order consisted of young people.

Salomon held power over them because the order originated from the court of Camelot and was a small part of Merlin's wizarding order. For Salomon, who was currently severely lacking in manpower, the completeness of the druidic lineage was irrelevant; what he needed were researchers with knowledge of magic. The wizards in the order, who possessed both scientific and magical knowledge, were exactly the kind of talent Salomon needed most.

He even wore the robes of the Holy Relic to meet these people. Salomon hoped they weren't bookworms completely ignorant of the magical world and the status of Kamar-Taj; ideally, they would recognize him, saving him the trouble of talking. However, he was disappointed upon seeing them—they had inscribed Solomonian magic circles and sealing spells on the floor, and he didn't see a single traditional Druidic Organ script!

It seems that Balthazar's "loss of heritage" is a euphemism; this group has essentially lost all of their druidic magic.

"My Mariana Stern." A young, blonde girl with thick glasses came out to greet Salomon. She sensed the magical aura surrounding the sorcerer and hurried down to greet him. "I am the High Priestess of the Sora Redwood Order. May I ask what brings you here? We offer exorcism, tarot card readings, and water mirror divination. Which service would you like to book? Also, if I may ask a question, are you a magician?"

"You're the High Priest?" Salomon stared at the High Priest before him, his brows furrowed. "Then where's your mistletoe staff?"

“We are not a traditional druidic order.” Mariana Stern pushed up her glasses somewhat nervously, her loose, casually tied blonde hair bouncing restlessly. “But we do understand druidic magic. The Sora Redwood Order has always served the affairs of Britain…”

"Alright, alright." The sorcerer nodded; his worst fears had come true. The Druid order's heritage had truly been lost. The high priest still hadn't recognized the meaning behind Salomon's Kamar-Taj brooch. These people were probably just a bunch of wizards who had lost their heritage and were now engrossed in studying medieval Kabbalah, completely unaware of what was happening in the magical world—truly country bumpkins in the magical realm.

“It is so, High Priest,” Salomon said. “I am forming an organization to address secular magical events, in order to strengthen Kamar-Taj’s power in secular society—if you don’t know Kamar-Taj, I will explain—the reason I have come to you is because this druidic order originated from Camelot, and I am Camelot’s successor.”

"Uh..." Mariana Stern was at a loss for words. She didn't trust the spellcaster in front of her at all.

"If you don't mind." Salomon gestured, and the air instantly filled with the smell of ozone produced by the friction of high concentrations of magic. He stood openly on the marble floor engraved with the Star of David, and just as the magic circle was about to be triggered, Salomon's fingers would always twitch at just the right moment, interrupting the High Priest's plan to stand on the square of the material world and try to manipulate the Raymond Gadon Magic Circle to elevate his rank and retaliate against him.

The Star of David, a six-pointed star, is inscribed with "adonai," the source of the Kabbalah, the name of the deity closest to matter. His position symbolizes the manifestation and completion of the universe. The Lord of the Earth rules this visible universe. From him, all the elements of the world are formed.

The lower is like the upper, and the upper is like the lower; thus the miracles of the One are accomplished.

The source of all perfection in the world is here; its power is most complete on earth.

All things originated from the One, and were created from the One through differentiation.

They ascend from the earth to the heavens, and then descend from the heavens, gaining the power of both above and below.

The world is created in this way, and miracles can be achieved in this way.

This was knowledge he had learned in his childhood; these wizards were no match for him. After he seized the highest position, the materials in this mansion were no longer under the High Priest's control. All the doors and windows of the mansion's hall in the North Yorkshire countryside slammed shut, a sound that attracted the attention of the other members of the order. They rushed into the hall to see the High Priest and the young man standing before her.

"I recruited you to do the same thing as before." He stretched out his hand, golden light gathering in it. "Your heritage has been lost, and I can help you complete it with the knowledge provided by Merlin's disciples. But on the condition that you return to Camelot's banner, which is King Arthur's banner. You can refuse me, but you cannot refuse the Holy Sword."

The members of the Sora Redwood Order only saw a blinding golden light blaze in the sorcerer's hands, and an incomparably magnificent longsword appeared in his grasp. The sword continuously emitted golden magical sparkles, and they immediately felt the surrounding magical energy concentration increase several levels compared to usual.

"Hey, who are you?" A muscular young man pointed his chin at Salomon. "We never expected Camelot to come looking for us."

"Shut up, Gerald!"

"I've already said it, I am the heir to Kamar-Taj, the heir to the Holy Sword," the sorcerer repeated impatiently. "You can choose to join, or not."

"We need time to discuss this." The High Priestess hesitated after Salomon seized the highest position, because Salomon was the most powerful and knowledgeable person she had ever met, and the price he offered seemed credible. "Suppose...this is just a hypothesis. What if we refuse?"

"Then I should reclaim Camelot's power."

"We need time."

"It won't be long," the sorcerer repeated. "I don't have time, and neither do you."

"This is your base?" The burly young man, Gerald, looked around at the ruins of the Immortal City. Compared to the other members of the Order, he was much bolder. The High Priestess, Mariana Stern, followed the arcane mage with some apprehension, not daring to touch any of the machines.

"Are we the only ones here?" Karim, a Black girl in the cult, asked.

"No, there's also a biologist."

"What about Kamar-Taj?"

"You are not qualified to go yet." Salomon invited them into an undamaged building. "You can freely enter and exit your mansion and this place through the teleportation array I set up. But the prerequisite is that you must first sign a contract."
